  My desktop (Windows XP Home Edition, SP3) PC has problems with sound:

  The "Sound and Audio Devices Properties" window has 2 options in the box "Device volume" (in the middle):

  It works OK - I can check this option and sound is cut off, as required.

  (2) "volume icon to Place in the taskbar"

  I can't check this option to access the 'Advanced Options' button (bottom-right) and set other options of volume for 2 rear speakers (only 2 front speakers are currently operating).

  I have NOT removed / deleted / Uninstall audio files, programs, etc., so I don't know how sound problems have been affected on my PC.

  Of course, I can't start the Volume control program, and I can't adjust any volume and sound on my PC settings. The volume icon is not displayed in the tray (taskbar, far right). Try to add the icon for the volume control for this notification area will fail with the above ERROR MESSAGE.

  The dllcache folder is where XP guard backup copies of important files and does not come into the game normally and XP will be running fine without this folder (but you don't want to delete it).

  If one 3498 files that Windows file protection is missing, PAM retrieves the backup copy in the dllcache folder quickly and silently, replace the missing file.

  As the sndvol32.exe is one of 3498 Windows File Protection files handles, should never be missing.  To be absent would require an extra effort.  If it happens never missing in the system32 folder, WFP will be want to quickly and quietly replace it if he can.

  This may occur if your antivirus/antimalware application unspecified thinks the file is suspicious and quarantines (effectively delete) the file.  You can replace the missing file with a backup copy of the file that is in another folder on your system (if you can find one.)  Sometimes even the backup copy is quarantined (effectively removed)

  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

  Assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive...

  We know that XP retains backups of critical system files in the following folder:

  c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

  Using the Explorer, search for or navigate to the following folder:

  c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

  Locate the sndvol32.exe file, right-click, choose copy or press Ctrl-C (it copies the file to the Windows Clipboard).

  If your Solution Explorer settings are not set to display file extensions, you can only see a file named "sndvol32" which has an icon that looks like to the volume control slider (this is the file you need) or adjust the settings of the browser under Tools, Folder Options, view and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" you can see the file extensions.  You can check that box again when you are finished, if that is your desire.

  If the file is missing in the dllcache folder, look for a copy of the file in this folder (you maybe not this file):

  c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

  After copying the file, navigate to the following folder:

  c:\Windows\System32

  Right-click on an empty area in the c:\windows\system32 folder display window and select Paste (Ctrl + V) to paste into the missing file where it belongs.

  Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file and then you should see a message that 1 file (s) has been copied.

  Now try your features sounds and Audio devices.

  If you can't find the file on your system, there is one on my SkyDrive and you can download it.

• VSA installed, you cannot create the cluster "VSA unavailable Cluster"

  At home, I have 2 servers ESXi with a vCenter 5 virtual running on one of these hosts (I know this is not supported or the best practice, because failure of the host with vCenter, only remains of the hosts and it doesn't have the majority because of the loss of VSA service and a host). However, I think that I have an error or an obstacle not related to this.

  Also, I plan on cold migration (first storage vMotion, deleting the VM of the inventory, adding to another host) the vCenter, so this problem should be addressed in the near future...

  Currently, I have installed the Manager of VSA on the vCenter server and when I open on my client vSphere client, I get the VSA Manager tab but when I open it, it says "Loading" and then a Flash-style/VMware View management console style dialog box pops up saying "the VSA cluster is unavailable: VC Session creation has failed." with a title "VSA Cluster unavailable."

  What I am doing wrong? I can't find much documentation on the installation of a VSA, so a little help would be appreciated by a Belgian engineer VMware junior and learning

  Your screenshot also indicated that vCenter is installed on port 8081. It's conssistent with the PuTTY test done before. You probably have something else listening on port 80. VSA 1.0 release requires that vCenter is Installer to the default HTTP port, port 80, which should be fixed in later versions.

• Cannot save the Cluster containing the server < servername >: Idispatch error

  I'm building a new environment of Oracle EPM 11.1.2.1. I installed and configured HFM on one server and the HFM web components on another server. The server of HFM, all configuration tasks have managed including the registry servers and clusters. When I configure the HFM web server all configured successfully with the exception of the clusters and servers to register. It comes with an 'X' red and says failed.

  Well, it really sounds like he can't connect then Firewall preventing. You have to find a way to turn them off because it is a sine qua non to disable firewall between servers to install Hyperion. I'm sorry.

  Have Windows over recent Technical Preview build 10041, Firefox Nightly x 64 39.0a1 10. Firefox will be launched, but when the browser seems no entry screen as possible. Cannot access settings, cannot put the cursor in the URL box. Tried unsuccessfully compatibility modes. I can not able to use this browser on Thursday, March 26, but it worked without problem Wednesday, March 25. My speculation would be that among the latest two updates nightly broke it. The displayed issue of Chrome, like Firefox does not.

  Hello, this seems to be a known bug that is being developed (bug #1147953).
  Please also note that windows 10 is in it's pre-release preview State and there are still changes the basic platform, it will not be fully supported by firefox and things are required to be wrong on occasion.

• Cannot change the column in Table

  Well I have a table called T1 where I have some columns with 70 000 lines in this table.
  now I need to change a size of datatype of columns of 5.2 to 5.4, with the command below.
  
  SQL > alter table t1 modify column_name1 number (5.4);
  
  When I run this command I get the below error
  
  ORA-01440: column to change must be empty to reduce the precision or scale
  
  So what I did is based on the table in another table t2 and now deleted all t1 lines.
  Once again, I have changed now the column modified successfully to (5.4)
  But even once when I insert the backup to the top of table t2 in t1 I received this error below.
  
  ORA-01438: value larger than the precision specified for the column
  
  
  the table t1 column_name1 number (5.2)
  changed as column_name1 number (5.4)
  
  now why can't I could insert the values inside by a backup table?

• Cannot copy the column of table - alternatives?

  I have a table in InDesign that spans some 150 + pages. A column contains a number, a price. I need to make a change which essentially increases the price of 40% for all the lines. My first thought was to select the column, copy and paste it into Excel, copy and paste it in InDesign. However, the copy command is grayed out with the column selected in InDesign.

  Suggestions for what I am doing wrong, or a workaround to accomplish what I try?

  The table in InDesign is in the document, not a file placed and tied.

• HFM 11.1.2.4 cannot find the Cluster HFM

  I installed and configure EMP 11.1.2.4 in exalytics without any error. When I try to create an application, there is error Houston-29000 and ADF_FACES-60096.

  When I checked the oracle-EMP-fm-hsx - server.log. There is error as below. I tried the ldd, the xfmdatasources.exe and found there some lack of shared libraries. I tried to add the paths of these missing libraries in the setEnv.sh and error still occurred.

• Cannot place the documents "because the MultiPage files only are not supported."

  When I try to add the edited photo organizer (which have a stacked logo at the top right) to a photobook I get message "Could not classify document... because the MultiPage files are not supported."   Look at the name of the file: it ends with the extension .pse. Is not a jpg file it's a project file. The project is a collection of assets (images) used for a creation like a slide show.

  Projects appear in the Organizer so that they can be changed again. This does not automatically work for projects created in older versions of items.

  Try the menu popup (click right on a PC, not sure with a Mac...)

  If you can get the option 'open' project, you should have access to the files that it contains.

  I'm trying to define the OSVERSIONINFOEX structure like a bunch, but I fixed a problem on how to set the table szCSDVersion [128] so that it is not a pointer. I tried it as an initialied byte table 128 elements and string with 128 dummy characters, but the two end up being pointers.

  You need to create a cluster of 128 bytes and incorporate that into your cluster as szCSDVersion; a cluster of all of the same type is identical to an array of fixed size of this type.  The best way to proceed is to wire an empty cluster of U8 in table for the cluster, set the size of cluster to 128 and create a constant or a control.  Drop this cluster in the right place within the cluster that you pass to the DLL.  When you get the results back, you can use the cluster to table and u8 to string table to retrieve the data as a string.

• Writing to the cluster table

  We have an array of input we want to map where we use bundle according to the cluster name, the input array has some empty strings, and if there is no empty string between two indices values, so these values should get together at the same table and if there is an empty string before any string It must build new table of this value.

  I tried something but does not receive not correct logic to do so, below I enclose the vi with the expected results and the upcoming release.

  I have a cluster of type def. This group includes 16 double tables, the size of the arrays are identical, but can change during execution.

  I would like to write data from table to this cluster in a loop, where I get the berries during the iterations of a PDM file. If the loop will iterate 16 times and every time I should put something in the cluster preceding the recent read double table.

  What would be the easiest solution here, since I can't use the 'Cluster to table' here and cluster table saw... ?

  I don't know if it's necessarily easier, but if you change the typedef cluster so that it instead contains 16 clusters and each cluster contains a single element which is a 1 d array, then you will be able to use the Cluster to table and table to the Cluster, although you'll have to do an additional unbundling/package inside the loop for.
