Cannot print except in Wordpad with psc 2175
More than a week ago my psc 2175 suddenly stopped printing. It would sound as if he was going to print but run white sheets of paper through. I ran the troubleshooting, and he checks well and prints a test page fine. I disconnected and reconnected both the power cable and the USB cable to the printer and the computer. I was advised to uninstall and reinstall, but the installation disk is 2.1.0 and is only supported for XP and I have Windows 7 (64). I'm quite a Luddite that the idea to do that scares me to death. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled my printer and everything works fine now. Thanks for all the help!

DraftSight version installed: V1R3 x 64In general, if only a single program has the problem, it is caused by a conflict between the program and the driver. Generally it is the manufacturer of the program to resolve the conflict. You can let them know that it stops, in case they don't already know. There is workaround that you can try in the meantime. It is not guaranteed to work, but I had a lot of success with it. Give it a shot and let me know what happens. The link below will lead you in the instructions.

Cannot print over a network with Vista home
Hello I try to connecto my new laptop to my network wireless of office to share files and printers. The new laptop is Vista Home 64 bit. The printer is connectet to a PC with Windows xp and according to a person who does our netwirking the printer cannot talk to the 32-bit and 64-bit and tells me that I have to change for windows XP. It does not sound right. Apparently there is no driver for canon iR 1510-1670, which runs on a 64-bit processor. Any help...

If there is no Vista 64-bit drivers available for this Canon printer, you will need to spend the XP Canon printer to a compatible printer Vista 64 bit if you want to print from it.
Canon has written drivers for their products, not Microsoft.
Check yourself on the Canon Website driver as to what drivers are available for this printer:

C6280, win7 cannot print via active network with VPN
Hi, I have 2 PCs, one Vista, one on Win7. With Vista, I can print over the network.
Also, via USB on the win7 PC I can print.
But I can't print via active on the Win7 with VPN network. Without VPN, it works.
I had several problems with the installation of the SW. Finally it worked (I think I had to turn my VPN connection)
It recognizes the printer, the State says: ready, but when I print, I get an error after a while.
When I stop the VPN, I can print.
I tried to load the patch for Win 7 (recommended on HP circuit (printer disappears), but what it says that I don't have the SW right?)

Recently changed from Win XP again Win 7 on a new PC. Downloaded new driver and the feature in XP under 'Basics' gives me the ability to reverse print. Cannot find this feature in the newer version. Everything for my banking is set up to collect setbacks. This feature was there and I can not find? Please tell me how to put in work. If this isn't the case, it must certainly be a feature added to an update as soon as possible.
Go to start, devices and printers, right click on the Officejet 7410, select the options in Advanced Printer preferences and change the order of pages.

PSC2175: PSC 2175 does not print on Windows 8.1
PSC 2175 prints on Windows 8.1. Although it scanner and Windows recognizes that the printer is connected is not in Applications like Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office as an available printer even though it is listed in the hardware and printers. HP Print and Scan doctor says that the software is installed, however if you select "fix print" and says that the complete software solution is not installed. If you select "Make install", it says "Page not found". If you select "Drivers and software" and follow the instructions the software only lists is utility of Diagnostic Tools that expands to be install printer HP for Windows. When it works, it says that the printer drivers may not be loaded correctly. By following the instructions to fix the problem, it of just in a loop back to the original Panel, saying that the drivers do not seem to install correctly and try reinstalling the downlaod and install the wizard.

It seems that diagnostic tools take you in circles. I'd be happy to help you, but I'm afraid that there is no feature complete and the software for the PSC 2175 for Windows 8 or 8.1. Instead, you use a driver in OS. A printer driver is software that lets the computer run the printer.
I wonder if you can uninstall the driver in the OS and reinstall it again. I wonder if the instructions given in the following link may help you with this; Uninstall, disable, restore and update device drivers in Windows 8 / 7

HP psc 2175: very slow printing
We had Windows 7 installed on our office and our HPpsc2175 printer is marked forever to print anything. I just tried to install the other driver Deskjet 450, and it does make a difference. Any other suggestions?

This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges. I don't remember if the PSC 2175 will print with a removed cartridge, but try the following: remove the black print cartridge and print a test page. The printer prints at a normal speed? Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced. If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed. If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.
If the printer will not print without the two coaches installed, you need to replace the cartridges; I would like to start with black as the most likely to be the cause.

My trusty and reliable hp psc 2175 all-in-one prints wrong color. It seems to access information or cyan or yellow and prints only in black (which is light) or magenta. PSC 2175 windows 7 64 bit - stopped printing
I have a HP PSC 2175 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier. I use a book ultra HP spectrum 13 w / Win7 Pro, SP1. Windows says that the driver does not work, printing to port USB001 (virtual printer port) the printer used to work fine, then it stopped. I suspect a windows update broke the driver somewhere, but because the driver is now provided with the operating system I can not uninstall and reinstall. All I can do is remove the printer and then add again, that did not work.
The symptoms that are a few lines when printing from Word or PDF can print huge print through from top or bottom of the page, and a bunch of blank pages spit. Using HP print and Scan it says doctor through the correction of errors, but the test page spits out 2 blank pages. Windows test print spits out 3 pages, 2 white and the other with a single line in huge letters in the upper part. Printing a test print notebook product also 2 blank pages.
Now even devices and printers in Control Panel does not respond. I submit this, I guess I'll restart. If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.

I ran the HP print and scan doctor a bunch of times in the past, in fact. All he could tell me was to reinstall the printer, who, of course, I can't really because the pilot is now in the operating system. After several attempts to remove the printer and reinstall USB cable, nothing seems to have worked.
Until last night! I had scanned a bunch of pages last night - I had not scanned nothing since the printing problem began. Now, the printer works fine. It must have been a few old cruft somewhere in the communication link that performs a work of analysis seems to have cleared.
I can't say that the scanning was difficult, but I can't say that it wasn't to be.
Problem solved, thank you for all your help and attention - you kept I'm working on the problem, until it fixes itself!
