  I'm working on a 3. Edition of a book and during playback, it has been noted that I had misrepresented a number of formulas. I was a little scared and surprised, there are many formulas in the book, and I had not touched them when editing - changes have been made elsewhere in the book.

  I checked my InDesign document and was surprised to see the next note that the first image is an image in 'normal' mode, the second is a view "HQ" to the formula as in InDesign CC 2015 and the third is a dump of the pdf of the previous edition of the book, with InDesign update in may 2014.

  The eps with the forms file has not been changed in the meantime. This is an eps file (attached) described. When opening in Illustrator CC 2015, it looks like the view from HQ below, in Illustrator CS6, it looks like at the lower part one - that's the way it is supposed to look like.

  

  The issue has been resolved as such, I reinstalled an oldie, InDesign CS6, and then the files eps and formulas all looked at as they were supposed to, but its sad that I have to have both the new and old version of InDesign and Illustrator installed. Can anyone tell med why this problem occurs?

  You may not use EPS in modern times. Convert them to PDF or leave them in PDF format.

  If someone has a problem with EPS it is now very probably due to fonts not embedded, so I recommend you to convert them to PDF via Distiller and embed fonts.

  Be aware that more and more problems appear when someone uses T1 fonts. So, it is also best to avoid.

• Is there a way I can buy InDesign and Illustrator ONCE and not have to pay monthly and annual fees?

  I have Photoshop Elements, I bought it once, it's not every year or fresh monthly, what I want to know is if there's a similar way to buy InDesign and Illustrator. Honestly, I don't use these programs which often (or at least not often enough to justify the cost I would have to pay).

  I searched so far came empty-handed and frustrated, that I don't want Adobe Cloud (I need not other programs) are there really no other option then to pay too much money for the programs that I have used often use?

  If the answer is Yes, then nobody knows of any similar programs that do the same things I could buy instead?

  If you are ready to deal with older software, and your computer can support the older versions, you can always buy CS6, but it will never be updated and will not run on newer computers.

  It depends really on what subscription plan, you are connected to.  Normally any programs are available through your subscription are listed for install you in the CC Office Manager application.  If you do not see some programs listed, it might be because your machine does not meet the system requirements for them... that's normally what happens with the Manager.

  Hi - I bought a subscription for one year for Indesign and Illustrator yesterday.   However, the entire suite is downloaded after a few hours.  I can't open, InDesign and Illustrator.   I get a comments box Adobe saying something like - to renew your subscription with a link or the message try again in 15 minutes.   I had downloaded the download Update Wizard.   It's very frustrating because I need to work on some files I had created previously when I took a subscription a few months ago that has expired due to an accounting issue.

  -Very well, have a bit of an Enigma here. I am quite familiar with InDesign and Illustrator. However, for the laying of the catalogues and printed material, I tend to prefer to use InDesign for obvious reasons.

  However, I'm working on a project, a sheet of goods of 10 pages that presents Illustrator of various items of clothing designs. All of the dozens of sketches, I need, are spread over 2 Illustrator .ai files. That's what I have provided with.

  When I paste the artwork in InDesign, the features of illustrations become wobbly and InDesign must convert the material pasted sliced EPS. Essentially, it becomes ineffective, after some pasted artwork and my InDesign document file size grows substantially. It feels like I'm doing something wrong. Thoughts?

  Or... Since I mainly use vector sketch, it would make more sense just to build a catalog of 10 pages in Illustrator? In this way, when I paste between documents everything dimensionnera properly, etc. I'm just worried about having to do any type of work and lay-out in Illustrator. Thoughts?

  I would isolate each Illustrator illustration using the work plan.

  Make sure that The show Import Options is checked when you place in InDesign so that you can select each individual work plan.

  Update changes to the Illustrator file in the links of InDesign Panel (double click on the yellow triangle).

  Thanks to individual work plans, you can take advantage of InDesign options for mounting on the frame work.

  I worked during the day now for Indesign and Illustrator CS6 return to work.

  Since a clean reinstall of Mac OS x 10.9, I can't solve error 5. What I've done since the question:

  (7) to set the permissions (SLStore + PCD folder) which is not found in OS x 10.9

  Enable the Root account once and try to launch InDesign:

  The root user account is the account Super user with higher privileges.  You can try running the CC app once.

  You cannot create Root account, it is a built in user account, you can turn on and off according to your choice.

  How to connect as root

  1. If you are connected, choose quit from the Apple menu.
  2. If you connect from a list of names of users with pictures, click on the other.
  3. In the name field, type: root
  4. In the password field, type the password that you set when you configure the root user account.

  

  Once you connect to the Root account try to launch the application InDesign and check.

• Adobe Creative Suite Design CS6 - PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator immediately stops after start

  I am troubleshooting for a customer with Adobe Creative Suite Design CS6.

  Its programs do not start all of a sudden, they launched and begins to read the plug-ins and opening a workspace, but then without warning and error it stops. no newspaper, error message or anything like that...

  It's the same thing for PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator in 32 bit and 64.

  He runs the clothing on an Hp EliteBook 8560p with Windows 7 Pro x 64 sp1.

  It would also have a Wacom Bamboo CTE 650 installed penpad before.

  That's what I've done so far:

  * Uninstall the whole and reinstalled again suit (made it 3 - 4 times, manually deleted regestry files, used CNettoyez and other cleaning tools)

  * Deleted the drivers wacom with controlpanel tool, driver Windows Clean tool, CNettoyez and manually remove the keys from the registry and files.

  * Uninstall the antivirus software and replaced by another, inactivated AV and Windows Firewall.

  * Delete the registry files for the costumes and "re-register" them once again.

  * Full patch for windows and adobe software.

  * Restart between each stage

  Any suggestions?

  I should add that adobe for this $2000 software support really sucks...

  Problem solved!

  I went through all records related to adobe cs6 and renamed their (one), then they would be be recreated.

  I've done this before, but it looks like I missed this specific.

  In any case, when I renamed the file "SLCache" in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\ and then ran the applications one by one as administrator, I was prompted for a serial again key and log my Adobe ID.

  Run the cleanup tool (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall from scratch.

  Updated for Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator 6/18, now nothing does not open: error 16. None of the 16 fixed error using the Adobe PCD folder permissionms and SLS store work. Uninstall and reinstall do not work. Is on the phone with Adobe 5 times since that happened on June 18. Probalby spent 5 hours on the phone with 4 different tech. I'm waiting for a recall, but the guy Adobe told me that it will be 2 days. Other engine have this same problem... everything is resolved? Help!

  PS - also made a new user account and tried to open with that, thinking it was a permissions problem. Always error 16. Frustrating... can not work if I don't have the software.

  I found a solution on a post in the forum.

  Installation of creative application Cloud Desktop caused my PS CS6 and applications of Cloud Photoshop CC go error 16. After trying just about everything, open the Terminal and type:

  sudo chmod-r 777 library/Application\ Support / Adobe

  instantly solves the problem.

  I think I typed in my login pw also when he asked for it.

  It worked for me also! After 8 days and 7 hours on the phone with Adobe, it worked. And no thanks Adobe... the tech support people 'high' of my case, but continued in havingme circles try the same thing with the same results: error 16. I was promised a call back 3 times and NEVER RECEIVED a reminder. I used to think strongly about Adobe and I look forward to the new release... no more. It is aggravating and costly for a professional designer go 8 days without being able to use the software, that we rely on. Kudo forum for suggesting a solution that works. Boo to Adobe for not to do so.
