  Regardless, if you choose to continue or cancell, that nothing happens - rebooted, reloaded, etc etc, but can't get the blooming thing to print from web-based e-mail. It used to work very happily but now... Help me please get really rather jolly cross!

  I bet that this is due to a conflict between IE 9 and your printer driver. The only real solutions must use another browser, or use a different print driver. I'll link the steps to assign another driver print below in case this is the solution you want to go with. I hope this helps.

  I have a XPS 12 with an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 wireless card.  I can't ping the default gateway with the wireless card.  When I use a USB network adapter, I can ping the default gateway for the wired connection.  I can connect to the Internet and the internal network with the wireless card and can ping other computers on the network.  I am trying to run a program to connect wireless to a projector.  I have two different programs for the two different projectors.  I can connect by cable but not wireless.  I think that the problem is anything that does not make me a ping of the default gateway or something on the wireless card.  I have a 10 latitude with a Broadcom wireless card that is connected to the same access point and can ping the default gateway and can connect wirelessly to two projectors.  They all have two windows 8 Pro.

  I downloaded the new drivers from Dell, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried to update Windows install the drivers, all with no success. Any ideas?

  The solution of the problem by chance.  I was connected to the computer with a different network than what has been used to authenticate user account on the wireless.  When I switched the user account for the user account that was logged on to the computer was the same who authenticate to the wireless, it worked.  Go figure!

• Just upgraded to Win7. Cannot update, cannot download from the internet?

  My main computer recently crashed so in the meantime, I took out an old computer, I have not used since 2011. It was in Vista, so I bought a Win 7 Pro license.

  I installed Win 7 and tried to run updates, but the model seems just look for updates for hours. I have run diagnostics that looks also some problems and doesn't happen (everything continues constantly to research) results. The task manager has not reported updates windows or diagnosis gel. Then I tried to upgrade to Win 10, but the facility remained at 99% for more than 30 hours. I finally got fed up and did a reboot.

  If at this stage I can't update or run diagnostics on Win 7, and I can not upgrade to Win 10.

  I tried to call MS Tech Support and have NECESSARILY STAYED in the queue waiting for a technician for 2.5 hours, up to what the system has hung up on me.

  Well, I made a simple page with a table and frameset. I used white borders and everything was fine when I checked in Safari. So I open Firefox to check and it renders the borders, but do not like the colors... I don't exactly understand. I renewed with ipconfig I reset all settings and others in IE removed network adapters and restarted. It reinstalled and still nothing. Ive also used command netsh winsock reset and still nothing. someone has any ideas in addition to the shaped?

• Wirless sys logged in, but can't access the internet.

  Hi all

  I just replaced the hard drive in a T60, installed the original image and then restored from the last backup. Now, I can't open any web browser. Indictes it computer which the wirelss is attached, but the wireless indicator is not flashing so I know what of not really work. It was working perfectly just before the restoration. I tried updating the driver, no joy. I turned mac and wep turned off just to make sure I was not missed something, still no joy.

  Does anyone have ideas, apart from a clean install!

  Thank you for taking the time to answer. I think I found the solution. I know that it could have been any number of things, so I'm glad that someone was willing to give it a go. I restored the backup system and noticed that there is a message that asks for a new start for a new software, which seemed strange to me. It happened the first time too, but I didn't get any notice. This time, before I clicked restart now, I tried to open a web browser and was able to access the internet. Then I restarted and was no longer able to access the internet. As if what ever program was now running actually blocking access. I I remembered so I had uninstalled, re-installed and uninstalled a Norton product just before I did the backup where I restored the computer. So, I checked the registry and noticed that computer science was swollen with Norton key with network adapters and thought they might be the problem. So I downloaded Norton Uninstall programs and which, fortunately, has solved the problem. Although it seems a bit slow. The machine is secoond hand and the ethernet card has never worked, so without the wireless, I was a bit lost. Although I could download programs on my T41 faithful.

  I tried to RTFM, but research for this error go empty.  I'm curious to know why Internet Explorer being participates in it at first. But mostly, I'm just curious as to how to get this thing to work.

  Another way to check the specific permissions for the site is to use the Page Info dialog box. While on a Google.com page, either:

  • Right click and select View Page Info > permissions
  • ALT + t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > permissions

  In the dialog box that opens, check the permissions to "Set Cookies" and "Maintain offline storage" and adjust as required. (Example screenshot attached.)

• A site suddenly looks like it has no formatting in Firefox, but makes it OK in Internet Explorer

  I have two screenshots, one of each browser. I don't see anyway to fix something here. I have nothing to change my system when it started and the owner of the website said that they made no changes during the time that changed.

  I checked the knowledge base and only found one thing that might have dealt with my problem. I did anyway just to see - view, Page Style, and it is defined on the basic Style of Page. Changing any Style did nothing.

  Reload Web pages, and ignore the cache.

  • Hold SHIFT and click reload.
  • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
  • Press 'Cmd + Shift + R' (MAC)

  Make sure that allow you pages to choose their colors and you have not enabled high contrast in the Windows accessibility settings.
