cannot print in firefox 34.0.5 get a save window

Unable to print in fire fox 34.0.5 get a window to save when I click on printing. At the moment, I can't print on ebay shipping labels or emails from my yahoo account. I noticed there was an update on 9 December 2014 that would have something with it since?

dick4063,

I'm sorry that you are having this problem with Firefox.

See this support article - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-print-websites#w_print-window-settings

The correct printer is selected?
'Fax' will be asked where to save the file, it will be "writers" and PDF.

Make sure you also just feeling in a file is not selected.

If this isn't the issue for you, see this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-printing-problems-firefox

You could try the section titled reset all printer of Firefox settings to reset your printer settings in Firefox.

Cannot print from Firefox. 3.6.13. says it's printing, but only a blank page comes out of the printer. Safari works fine, but I like Firefox. With the help of Mac 10.6.5.

Probably caused by a Bug in Firefox, which is supposed to be fixed in versions of Firefox 4.0. Until Firefox 4 is out, my suggestion is to use the preview before printing and if the preview is empty use Safari to print this page. This extension will allow you to click right into Firefox and open the same page in Safari, so you don't have to copy' only paste the URL.

  • New computer. Cannot print from Firefox. HP compjuter and printer. Can print from Outlook and explore.

I just got a new HP with Windows 7 computer. I use a HP Officejet 4500 printer. When I try to print from Firefox it brings up a window FAX as I am trying to send a fax. This happens regardless of how I try to print. Go to file then print or the button "impression" on the toolbar navigation or by using the button "print" on the web site. If I try to print from Outlook 2007 or from Explorer 9 everything works fine and the page is printed. I prefer to use Firefox on explore. It's just something that MS put in Windows 7 to force the use of Explorer?

{Ctrl + P} to print at the top, select your printer in the printer - name box. Currently, you have a "virtual" printer selected.

I downloaded the latest print drivers. I have reset the printer using Firefox "subject: config" that suits it temporary, but after some time it stops again to print.

    This has happened

I solved this problem. I had to disable the functionality of the browser virtualization in Zone Alarm Extreme Security. It wiped out all the settings of Firefox, but I got bookmarks, etc. saved. (given by the original poster)

My second problem is - I can receive faxes and fax to a person with a separate their home phone number.  But I can not fax to someone who has the same number as their telephone and fax.

Any help on these 2 questions so enjoy!

    HI sjane39,

Here is a support page for troubleshooting printing from Firefox. It seems that if you can print from IE that your printer drivers are installed and are working correctly. This looks like a setting in Firefox.

Let us know if that helps.

For your fax number, you can run the Fax diagnostic Test. It will help diagnose and solve common problems of fax.

Also let us know about it.

    Good luck.

  • Cannot print the financial dashboard on message of 64 bit windows 7 host computer driver print for 32 bit applications has stopped working

Original title: Windows 7 print driver host for 32 bit applications has stopped working

    Hello

In my company, we have a Windows 7 (Professional 64 - bit) computer with installed on financial Edge(32-bit). We have been able to print from this fine machine, but recently we changed a printer of Conan for a Dell 2150cn Color Laser Printer (64-bit driver). Now, when we try to print from financial dashboard, we get the following error:
Host of the print driver for 32 bit applications has stopped working

    Problem event name: APPCRASH

    Application name: splwow64.exe

The printer is not a network printer, it is physically connected to the machine. In addition, it seems to print very well, if we are not trying to print from financial dashboard. Unfortunitly, once we try to print from financial dashboard, we cannot print from something else. In addition, financial dashboard can sometimes print (this is rare). I uninstalled and reinstalled, using the drivers that came with the CD (tried to download through the Dell website, but Windows seems to hate this driver)

    Hi IToccrra,

    1. the computer is in a domain environment?

    2. who is the provider of the financial advantage program you're talking about?

Method 1: Try to print in clean boot

    See the following site:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

Note: to set the computer back to start normally, use the step 7 in the same link.

Method 2: Run the printer Troubleshooter

    See the following site:

    Open the printer Troubleshooter

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Printer-troubleshooter.

Method 3: update the printer driver

    See the following site:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly.

The details of the error are telling us that the accident occurred when the host of the 32-bit printer driver tries to use the printer. Apparently, you are trying to print from is a 32-bit program, and is not able to use 64-bit print drivers correctly. I would also ask that you contact the vendor of the software (from when you try to print) to check the issue.

  • Cannot print from firefox 7.0 but can from Internet Expolrer

  • Cannot print on firefox now blue arrow blinks and report in aspx?

Until a few weeks before I could open a report in ADP and preview before printing but also print but now when I select print that flashes a blue arrow and no preview appears. When I click on the blue arrow (which is black, not not flashing) and a list of reports pop up. Then I have to go to the download file on hard drive to open the report. Until this week the download was in pdf format, now he's in the aspx I can't open or print. I want to back when I select the report it will preview it immediately and I can then print it.
It works the way I wanted to in Internet Explorer and used for in Firefox. I like the other aspects of Firefox, but not how it prints NOW.
Someone can help me. Tired to follow the instruction of "Fix printing problems" but could not find all the items of the stage as the "firefox" tried the menu button button but the next step isn't there. 'Reset the printer firefox' did not help and could not figure out how to open the prefs.js I wordpad in the 'reset all settings firefox printer. I am running windows 7.

    To develop this last suggestion:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > Applications Panel

Once the loading list, in the search box at the top of the list, type pdf , take a break while the list is filtered. Then check the drop down menu on the right side and if it is set to save the file, try to set it to one of the following:

    • Preview in Firefox
    • Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)
  • Cannot print from Firefox any version of adobe pdf. Have adobe acrobat plugins 11.0.3.37 and 9.5.5.316

I can't print any page of Firefox to a printer adobe, in other words, to create a pdf file, even if my computer has a 'printer adobe"installed and adobe plugins are updated.
However, there is no problem if I use the "pdf it! Add on.
If Firefox already exposes a pdf page, the "Print" command also blocks the browser.
My Firefox is always up to date, and this problem has existed for mid-2012.

If you have a Windoze system you can do this:
Download the free version of CutePDFWriter of <"rel ="nofollow"> http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/writer.asp >." You must also download the bundle of Ghostscript which they label "converter".

Install the converter, and then of CutePDF. Watch, the installer wants to install the Ask toolbar and some other junk. Read the screens carefully!

Once you have completed the installation, you now have a printer called "CutePDF Writer". Use this one.

  • Computer laptop Windows 7 cannot print on PSC 2410, attached to the desktop of Windows XP on network home

The subject little line about everything said.  I finally received the laptop to see the printer and went through Windows update to find our model of the printer, but when I print a test page nothing happens.  I tried setting up as a network printer, but could not find a driver (which he required).  Finally, I went through the local printer option to get as much as I did with her.  I also tried the XP desktop to add a printer driver for Windows 7 64-bit OS, but this option is not available... I was sharing the printer tab.

It's very frustrating because I had no problem setting up my Vista laptop.

Try the following: on the Windows 7 machine go devices and printers folder, add a printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, then click Windows Update, and then select HP for the manufacturer and series HP PSC 2400 during the updating of the list.

  • Cannot print to installed printers (HP3050A and HP7160) of the Windows 7 laptop

Since the installation of software for HP3050A printer on my laptop (Windows 7 32 bit OS) while "seeing", will not recognize printer when sending to print. Message always reads the printer must be added. Since the installation of HP3050' software were unable to print on any other network or direct printers (HP7160), who had worked. Suspect Windows 7 OS has been damaged. Have reinstalled the HP software several times to nothing does not. All well on 2 other computers with Windows XP

    Hi Julie,.

Uninstall the printer from Add/Remove Programs, and then install the full software functionality via the USB port. If you are unable to print, we consider that there is a problem within the operating system on the computer that helps the prints failed to the spooler. Let me know what you find?
