I've read through all the messages about printer with El Capitan + Mac problems, but none of the solutions seem to work for me?  I deleted the printer files and reinstalled.  I have reset the printer system.  With the computer has restarted, etc.  It drives me crazy... I work from home and be able to print without spend 2 hours each day playing with it so he can print once and then not work again.   All the solutions experts out there?  I have to go out and buy a windows computer?

  • Cannot print from the site Microsoft Learning with my Kodak all-in-One printer

Yes, I use an all in one Kodak printer that seems to work correctly.  However, while I am online on the Microsoft Learning site and try printing the glossary of words in the definitions, it seems that the learning site does not allow me to print the glossary.  The notes I take can be printed as well as other parts of training modules.  In addition, there is another issue that may or may not be related to the printing problem.  When the printer is turned on and I get ready to print a small icon in the lower right corner of the screen tells to disconnect me the USB device safely.  Also, I followed the instructions and disconnect the printer, but warnings continue to appear every time I have to restart the printer.  Thanks for any input into my problem.  Stephen

  • Cannot print on a Brother printer after Windows Update

We share the same brother MFC-8660DN on a network (Win XP x 4 & Win 2008 Server x 1), everything was fine until yesterday (16/09/10). 2 XP computers cannot print (Status: printing error) just after the recent update of windows installation (windows auto update has been set for each week). When we tried to print to the brother printer, he would be stuck in queue for a minute and a bubble pop up "document cannot be printed." 2 computers work fine otherwise. Everything works normoally and can be printed to another printer like Canon. (PS: I tried to uninstall and reinstall the brother printer driver, but no luck the question of setting)

On the other hand, the other 2 XP did not have an update, and so they can't always print on the Brother printer. Also, Win 2008 server doing a windows update auto but print very well so.

Therefore, I believe that the update of windows XP must have something to do with the printing error. Is there a fix or update? Alternatively, we can uninstall the recent windows update (only one?) to solve this problem? I'm not sophisticated OS, do not know what could be uninstalled. Help, please!

I received a call from a client 2010-Sep-16 that they could no longer print
on a network printer from any workstation.

Workstations have Vista Business 32 and have been updated morning of September 16.

The server is Server2003 & printing it still worked well.

Printers using IP ports very well for more than 2 years.
Fix was to use instead of the intellectual property & create ports with the full share name.

The IP address of the printer had not changed AND
I couldn't always navigate with IE8 (using IP address)
    printer see printer configuration data

    Workstations are Server 2003 domain

This trick of name full-fledged was how I had to put in place
    Vista Home Premium workstations
to use network printers in home networks.

Why Vista Business "updated" settings for Home Premium?
Is this a permanent 'update '?

Why no matter what version of VISTA do this?
Windows 7 has the same problem?

With Vista Business 32 (short-term)? solution was to change the port to a local port with full sharing of the printer name

Try to add a page to a pages document. It worked until now but just finished page 13 with text and photos and cannot add another page, using macbook pro with El Capitan and the most recent version of the Pages.

You have placed your beam to insert at the end of your text on page 13 and then apply Insert menu: Page Break? In the v5.6.2, Pages I just add a new page to a section of four pages to this approach.

I tried to install the software for a printer Brother MFC 8950 DW.  Whenever I get a message that the driver is not available.  I received an error 0x000003eb and cannot install the printer.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?  If so, how do you fix?

    Hello

Check with the support of brother, their documentation online and drivers. As the brother of OEM
is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their drivers provided.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

  • "The print processor does not exist" what can I do? The printer is a Brother MFC-J430w.

I am trying to install a wireless printer Brother MFC-J430w on my Dell PC to 32-bit. I have downloaded the driver on the Internet, but I get a prompt saying "cannot install the printer. The print processor does not exist. "What should I do?

Yes, you can try to replace localspl.dll winprint.dll

Create a restore point from the system beforehand and restart the computer later.

  • Where to find the Brother MFC-210 c printer driver

I need the printer driver for Windows 7 for operating printer Brother MFC - 210 c

Brother has no Windows 7 for the MFC 210 c printer drivers. The most recent are for Vista.

You can try the Vista drivers in compatibility mode:
    http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/us/us/en/DLF/download_top.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=mfc210c_all

    Troubleshoot Compatibility

This can help with some (but not all the) programs/drivers:

    (1) uninstall the program, if it is already installed. Then when install you / reinstall instead of double click on the Setup file, right click and select 'resolve compatibility issues.

    (2) then click on 'Try recommended settings' and in the next window, click on "Start the Program" to install it.

    (3) after he set up see if it works properly. Note: some programs may not be able to run in Windows 7.

More information on how to make older programs in this version of Windows:

    Or:

If the manufacturers website has no drivers for Windows 7, try to use Windows Update to install the printer drivers:

    Try the printer Troubleshooter

    1. click the Start button, then click on Control Panel

    2. in the search box, type troubleshooting

    3. then click on troubleshooting

  • Having difficulties to install printer Brother MFC-J470DW.

I called brother Support and after two hours of trying everything they could think of, the tech told me I should call Microsoft, that the problem was with them.  When I start the installation disc, it goes only so far and then it stops.  Gets to the extent where "connect cable" and turn on your machine.  And then it just sits there doing nothing.  I tried the system recovery and it did not help.  How to get this problem fixed?

I called brother Support and after two hours of trying everything they could think of, the tech told me I should call Microsoft, that the problem was with them.  When I start the installation disc, it goes only so far and then it stops.  Gets to the extent where "connect cable" and turn on your machine.  And then it just sits there doing nothing.  I tried the system recovery and it did not help.  How to get this problem fixed?

It sounds like a problem to brother or one you won't easily resolved in a forum like this one and the first tip that you're going to get:

Restoration of the machine to factory default (probably an OEM, not Microsoft, method) after the backup of your important data and collect your keys/serial installation media and product numbers.  Then install latest drivers from device hardware and all updates from Microsoft including the printer after you have restored to the factory settings (probably an OEM, not Microsoft, method) and then install all the other stuff.

Why this review here?  If the people who made and take over the device (alone, you declare having questioned) could not fix things - and you gave NO DETAILS on what they had you try - you could lose your time here discussing the same things again without the expertise of those who intimately know their own device, wrote the software you are trying to install and tested on the operating system you try to install it on--or you could start from a State of CLEANLINESS and last KNOWN GOOD configuration and if it fails, then - be able to solve problems with those to the brother or simply return the product as a failure.

Now - if you really think it sounds like a pain - provide details on what is and was not considered, etc..

    Other suggestions:

    If you use this:
    Full driver & software package
... as your starting point (this is for your device), we'll simplify and get the printer installed first.

Simply download the driver (assuming that Windows 7 64-bit, another bit of information to provide):Printer Scanner Driver & driver for local connections

... chill out, go to the folder where you unzipped it so you can find the full path and...

    1. Open devices and printers, click Start , and then, on the start menu, click devices and printers.

    2. Click Add a printer.

    3. In the Add Printer Wizard, click Add a local printer.

    4. Choose a printer port page, make sure you use a button existing port and the recommended printer port are selected and then click Next.

    5. On the installation of the printer driver page, select the model and manufacturer of the printer, and then click Next.

      • Click on disk, and then navigate to the folder where the printer driver (see above).

    6. Perform the steps in the wizard and then click Finish.

What he did add a printer to your printer list?  Can you print?

In addition, in all their troubleshooting, they you save the driver Package & complete software and do a right click on it and run as administrator?

  • Cannot print on the Epson TM - U590 Slip printer Report Generation Toolkit with LabVIEW 8.6.1

    Hi all

I have an application that uses the report generation tool to print tickets for a printer file.  Usually, it works very well - I 8 existing facilities where there is no problem

I install the software on a new site that uses a printer Epson TM-U590 slip currently and I can't for the life of get me printing to work

Using a Standard report, the Print Report.vi returns error-41002, indicating it does not find the printer.  I opened the VI using the remote debugging and it does not find the name of the printer properly with the available query Printers.vi.  It gets an error-2147352567 code starting from the printed node, which is then replaced by the de-41002 error that is reported.

For historical reasons, I always use LabVIEW 8.6.1 for this project.  I plan to spend in 2011 or 2012, but I had some reliability problems with the other parts of the application after trying to upgrade to a new version of LabVIEW, so I would avoid it at this point.

The application runs on a standard desktop with Windows 7.  The slip printer works fine if I print from Notepad, and my request is happy to print to any other printer, just don't slip printer.

The slip printer using the LPT port.  Previously, printers of the folder that I used were USB but I expect the printer driver to hide the details of the application...

Any ideas would be very appreciated

    See you soon

I managed to solve the problem, thanks to this article: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/67D60209102E2161862568AC0074BF64

I now have the same problem with a folder of Star printer (a TUP592), this time with another program developed in LabVIEW 2011.

As mentioned in the article, the problem is in fact to do with margin settings rather than the name of the printer, despite what says the error message

After some tests, I received the Star printer to work by setting a large (> 14cm) right margin.  No idea why this is necessary because it seems quite happily print to the right edge of the paper, but there you go.

So I don't have defintely solved the original problem yet, as I've not had back on the site, but I hope that it will be useful to someone else.

    See you soon

  • Printer E2000 and Brother MFC - 9330 CDW problem?

I have a router E2000, which I think is hard to connect to / wake my printer Brother MFC - 9330 CDW.  I attributed to a static IP address and when I run the network status of the LCD of the printer it is said that it is connected to my network and everything is correct.  But I can't ping from my Windows 7 computer, which is connected to the same WLAN.

I can also print using my phone, connected on the WLAN, using the Brother printer app so maybe that's not the E2000. I don't know if it access the printer just like my pc.

But if I reboot the E2000, my Win 7 machine can connect to the printer in a first time, but at some point - usually minutes but it may be days - the connection is lost and I can't seem to restore without having to reboot the router.  Restart the computer or the printer reset the connection.  The only way around this is to restart the router then immediately open Control Panel on the printer to my pc and let it open, maintain a connection with the printer, which is obviously not very convenient.

I tried to reinstall the firmware for the router, which is the latest version, and I also have the latest firmware installed on the printer.  I also removed and then reinstalled the printer several times in my control panel when you add a printer.

I'm not that techy, so I know what else to try.  If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you.

I recommend that you connect the printer to the router with an Ethernet cable. The IMO is always the most reliable connection for network printers. The mobile application can directly connect to the broadcast wireless to the printer without going through the router all together.
