• Cannot embed a YouTube video - no black box

  I am trying to embed a YouTube video in my InDesign document. I watched the videos and read the tutorials. I go on YouTube; I get the embed code; I paste in my document. I get the little gray box (like everyone else) so it gets bigger, but it's not black. It looks like a box simple frame. I watched it in preview via the office mode both on my iPad.   1. in InDesign CS6 or CC, choose object > inserer insert HTML code, then paste this link embed:

  You should see a box with a black image. (Note that I changed src=//www.youtube to src =http://www.youtube.)

  2. Select the image and choose Auto Play and allow User Interaction in the overlays Panel.

  3. Add a poster.

  4 test cycle.

  Well, go to Youtube. Pick up the embed code they offer. Go to Thunderbird, create a message in html format. Go to Insert | HTML, paste your embed code in the provided box.

  It may or may not work; Much depends upon if your recipient's e-mail client supports this. Thunderbird itself won't work from scripts, so I don't expect anyone viewing your message using Thunderbird to see the Viewer.

  First of all, try resetting Internet Explorer as follows - be aware that this will remove bookmarks and saved passwords etc

  I cannot view youtube videos, but I can see it in chrome and ie and flash will not be updated or the other I always click Update now and download it and it says conplète to update but then I check the plugin updates and always says the flash needs to be updated. I run firefox in safe mode and I still can't view videos and I tried reading the forums and makes suggestions like clear cookies and such, but not luck. Another thing is that I get a weird screen when I try to play videos

  There are some compatibility issues between the last Flash drive and a few Add-ons Firefox or settings. Could see you if anything in this article helps you: 11.3 Flash does not load video in Firefox.

  HI I have a problem with the firefox browser lasted. You see when I go on this site to watch a video witch is through video youtubthe will play for a little bit, then it will freeze but will continue to play the audio from the video, but the video is still frozen. I went in firefox and I went to tools and under privacy where it says clear recent history and I put a check mark to clear wrestled, cookies, Web site preferences and press the button continue. Then I went back to the site and yet once again, I did try and watch the video of youtube with the same problem, as described above. So I uninstall Adobe flash player and shockwave player and re downloaded times flash player and shockwave player and reinstalled them again. It doesn't help that the youtube video keeps freezing and the audio keeps time even when the video freezes in firefox.

  I have tried so that the first thing, but it didn't work at all.
  Anyway, I solved the problem in the meantime by uninstalling Firefox and put it back. Please note that I had to do a CLEAN install, and I mean by 'clean' that I had to remove the settings as well. First I tried to reinstall it but I kept the settings (Firefox will ask if you want to keep when you uninstall) and it did not work. I therefore saved bookmarks and uninstalled everything. The later resettlement has solved the problem.
