Cannot read memory Flash USB UHYB-064GH .avi files

Hello

I recently bought a 64 GB of memory Flash Toshiba (stick). This model UHYB-064GH.
Right out of the box, I plugged the USB on my Windows PC.

I am running Windows Vista.
I tried to transfer a number of files video .avi to the device, taking about 10 GB of space.

I tried to launch files (using VLC player) directly from the flash drive. Most of the files would not play.
Only to have it but he only played the first 8 seconds of a movie of 2 hours.

The counter in the corner only showed the film long 8 seconds?
However, the properties of the file section confirms it was a 1.6 GB, 2 hour movie...?

I uploaded the same video files to another drive (old) I have and found it worked well.
The drive is a FAT32 you.

I don't really know that much about these things would be so grateful for any advice
Tom

Try to format it to NTFS USB flash memory.
Media files up to 4 GB FAT file format, but the NTFS format supports the larger sizes.

  • HP Pavilion X 2: HP Pavilion XP cannot read data from USB DVDs

We bought a HP 10-ND200ND (HP pavilion X 2) in the Mediamarkt and tried to install Microsoft Office from a DVD via a DVD USB Samsung player.  This was not possible. According to Support Mediamarkt this product is a Tablet and so cannot read data DVD´s. Only General to play music. To buy a laptop computer for this application. The operating system is Windows 10 (32 bit). Is that correct. Please advice.

Hi Banhien, the cause is known. I have seen other comments on the HP forum and concluded that the reader needs more power than is available through the USB connector of. I added a hub that can provide power to its connectors USB, HP X 2, by car and the problem has been resolved! It was noted that the mini USB is also more powerful and with the type of adapter USB USB C it might also work, but I did not test this, because I do not have such an adapter. It's odd that such a mini can provide more power. It is surprising that the HP Pavilion X 2 does not have a powerful USB. But the problem is solved. Thanks for your response! Best regards, wiely

  • Cannot read Document in FileUtilities to search a file with french characters in the file name

    Hello

I'm looking for a file with french characters in the filename as"ecran.doc" in my unix Server directory and write the file somewhere, say, in a list of documents, or write to files to another directory.

I use to read Document in FileUtilities of the Foundation, but it cannot read the file due to the french character in its name. Although it can find another name of file without these french characters.

I tried to rename but who also can not find the file with the name of the french character.

Please provide any idea to solve using LC operation.

    Kind regards

    Raj of Rohan.

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the post, but I already found a solution to this a month ago. Sorry for not posting the solution.

Just put the '-Djava.property.file.encoding = ISO8859-1' in your server startup JVM argument and position the rebound on the back of the server to choose the new JVM arg . And now the reading service of Document in FileUtilities of the Foundation read characters all french.

ISO8859-1refers 'no. 1 Latin alphabet,"consisting of 191 characters from the Latin alphabet. This character encoding scheme is used throughout the Americas, Western Europe, Oceania, and much of Africa. It is also commonly used in most of the Etymologies of the East Asian languages.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite Pro M10: IO error, cannot read DVDs/CDs, USB driver for Port Replicator

I have also continued to asked a USB driver load? Replicator port, I can't find my original installation CD?
    Someone help please?

    Hello Joe

I saw in some your previous assignments that you use external DVD drive too.

I use my Tecra with Replicator port and a multi LG external DL disk attached to the port replicator (due to the fast data transfer firewire connection). Everything works fine and I wonder how you can have all of these problems.

If your device is set up correctly, including all the original drivers, tools and utilities that you can find on Toshiba download page should not have any problem. I hope that you have installed the unit without port replicator and you don t forget Mobile extension tool. As much as I know there is no driver for Replicator port and all the signals are loop just to the ports of the replicaror port.

  • Debugger CVI: cannot read memory

    Hello

Today, I met a display of debugger not seen before:

I'd be happy if someone could explain why this message.

I guess that 'external process' refers to the CVI debugger?

    (using the CVI 2013SP1)

    Thank you!

It's one of those dark corners of the protection of the user. You lose the information user-protection for memory_block_pointer in your macro:

    #define MemoryFreeDynamicMemory(x) MemoryFreeDynamicMemoryI ( ( void ** ) &x )

It is really an artifact of how the user-protection is being implemented and how the information is passed through the program.

When you release this memory block, the block of memory is freed, but the protection of the user associated with this block is not marked as having been released, because the reference to this information has been lost in the combination of (void *) and &.

The debugger sees the initial denunciation of the protection of the user and who thinks (* memory_block_pointer) is always a valid block-oriented, returned memory.

It works when you move the memory block and the memory block pointer separately, because you avoid it (void *) and & on the parameter that is passed to free():

    #define MemoryFreeDynamicMemory(x) MemoryFreeDynamicMemoryI(x, (void **)&x)

void MemoryFreeDynamicMemoryI(void *memory, void **pointer_to_memory) // original u-p survives for 'memory' // but is lost for 'pointer_to_memory'
    {
free(memory); // can mark original u-p as having been freed
        *pointer_to_memory = NULL; // doesn't need original u-p
    }

As I said earlier, the user protection is very fragile in some areas.

  • PE of memory error with Canon SD1200 avi files

I just got a Canon SD1200 camera and took some video. I was able to download the file video avi to Premiere Elements. However, when I tried to edit the files I got an error of memory low system and then PE crashed. I have 3 GB of RAM so I don't think it's memory.

I wonder if it's a CODEC problem like the recent post on the Pentax Optio w60. It looks like I could buy the MJPEG CODEC from Mainconcept. Is this likely to solve the problem?

Canon SD1200 is a photo and video from this camera probably uses the MJPEG AVI codec, which will probably not work with Premiere Elements.

The solution is to convert the video to DV - AVI using Windows MovieMaker, as in the FAQ on the right of this forum.

  • Impossible to read some (not all) with WMP11 avi files or another player with my laptop with Vista, but it's OK to read them on my desktop with XP. Can anyone help? Please,

I installed K-Lite Codec pack, but it did not help.

    Hi dragon52s

This can also occur if the audio drivers on the computer have been corrupted.

    • Use Windows Update or access the sound device manufacturer's Web site to see if an updated driver is available.
    • Use Device Manager to check the status of your audio device.

To check the status of your sound device

    1. click on Start, right-click computerand then click Manage.

    2. in the left pane, click Device Manager.

    3. in the pane, expand sound, video and game controllersand then find the name of your audio device.

    4. do one of the following:

    ·         If your audio device is listed, but the icon has a red 'X', the device has been disabled. To activate the device, right-click the icon, and then click Activate.

    ·         If your audio device is not listed in the right pane, expand other devices. If the Multimedia Audio Controller appears in the list, right-click on the icon and then click Update driver software. Follow the on-screen instructions to find and install the driver software.

If you are not able to find and install the correct driver software, go to the Web site of your computer or the manufacturer of your sound device manufacturer for assistance.

    • If you do not have a sound device installed on your computer, install an audio device and then try to play the file again. For more details, go to your computer manufacturer or sound device manufacturer's Web site.
    • If you try to play a file on the Internet, try again later. The server may be temporarily unavailable or there could be a network problem.
    • If you try to play an MP3 file that contains compressed ID3 headers, make a copy of the file and then use an ID3 tag non - editing program Microsoft to remove or reset the file's ID3 headers.

The ID3 header is a part of the file that stores the album information of the song (for example, the song name, artist name, album name and kind). This information is sometimes called tag. After you remove the headers ID3, Windows Media Player should be able to play MP3 files.

  • Image filter is not applied during playback of AVI file

I've written a VI that read images from a camera Camera Link, filtered them (edge detection applied) and displays them.  This works well.

I then wrote a VI that plays back images in the same unit and it records in an AVI file.  This works well.

I then wroe a VI that reads the images of the saved AVI file and displays them on the screen.  This works well.

However, when I changed the VI that reads the images in the AVI file, also apply the filter for detection of edge, the 'second', 'filtered' image is a copy of the original.  It is not filtered.

When I turn on the 'highlight performance', I can't see the "stream" in the filter screw, but the result is not out to the indicator displayed.

I have attached the VI for examination.

    Thank you

    Jeff

I suppose that - reading AVI RGB image returns, but convolution weft can accept as single-channel images.

If so, try to convert the image to grayscale before filtering, for example in the following way:
