  Check the automatic run settings in the control panel. Ensure that the measures to be taken when optical media are inserted represent the media format type that you create.  You can check the box at the top to use AutoPlay for all media types, then select the action for the particular media format.  Be sure to save the changes.

  You can also consider using Imgburn to read and write to check some media to see if you actually have some hardware issues. ImgBurn will also appear to what types of media are acceptable for the optical drive.

  It is also possible that the media you use is of a lower quality.  I prefer the Verbatim. It cost more but I've never had a problem with Verbatim.

  I just bought a F20-136 and make me "event ID 11, category: CDROM ' errors in the event viewer. It is a mistake of the controller. The drive seems to read most discs, but sometimes it has trouble reading some discs and that's when the error occurs (this can happen with CD or DVD, pressed or burned).

• Satellite U300-15 q - cannot read some CD.

  I recently had some problems with the CD / DVD drive. DVD playback with Windows player without any problem. Some CD cannot be read by the reader, it just don't see them, others he will play with windows media player, the CD are original bought in a local music shop.

  One of my friends had the same problem. He used the wrong or not compatible CD / DVD media. In my opinion you should try to burn difsferent CD / DVD. I use TDK CD and DVD and I m really satisfied.
  Secondly, what burning program did you use? I use Nero. In my opinion it's one of the best burning tools.

• Firefox suddenly stopped playing online radio streaming through blogs.

  Hey man thanks for all the help, its all working fine now. I uninstalled all the plug ins from flash player, included air, java all together and created a new admin user account (win 7). I installed them all together on the new user and it worked.
