Cannot read the contents of the phone
My husband iPhone 6 has attracted 13 GB of data. I use my phone more it does and I only use 6. Something has been bad for months, we have both called Verizon and nothing has helped. I'm trying to upgrade his phone now and iTunes tell if cannot read the content and I need to reset the phone. I don't want to do it in case it is not completely saved.
He was frustrated with his phone for months, may not have music on it, full, etc...
I saw a solution in a similar thread, but did not want to download a 3rd party app to try to fix it. Waiting for people to apple to help me understand this. Thank you!

If you're still using OS X 10.5.8. That being the issue. iOS 9 requires 12.3.x and this is the notability on OS X 10.5.8.

Please see the comment by David Lewis21 in this discussion of the CSA. I have not tested its solution, I can't vouch for it, and I have no other information. Try at your own risk. If you don't want to take that risk, I suggest that you contact the Apple Support.

iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod
On a model MC540LL/A iPod running iOS 6.1.6 I get this alert:
iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod "IPod of Carl Carlson". Go to the summary in the iPod preferences tab and click on restore to restore the iPod to factory settings.
There is no summary tab or the restoration.
I have
Restore all settings
Erase content and settings
along with several others that appear irrelevant.
Which is appropriate?

I am trying to connect to my server and I get this message:
Cannot read the content of the XML resource: IDD_SSH_KEY_CHANGE_DIALOG
Followed by this message:
An FTP error occurred - cannot connect to the host. You login or password is incorrect. Please check your login information.
I checked my log, server details, and they are correct. I asked for the support of my server, but not luck. What should I do?
Thank you very much. I managed to resolve the issue. What I missed, is that I couldn't find the file because it was hidden. So it is visible in "terminal", I could easily follow the instructions to solve the problem. To view the files in terminal go to this link (for someone else):

iTunes does not recognize my iPhone on my HP Pavilion Windows 10 5s, so cannot sync the phone running. I downloaded the latest OS for the phone and the latest version of iTunes on my PC and have tried all USB ports several times. I also reinstalled drivers USB to the PC. The phone is recognized on the computer of a friend under Win 7. All shows when I plug it on mine is a page showing the 'Apple iPhone' folder display of storage internal (2.18 GB free of 14.7 GB). Troubleshooting in devices and printers, where the phone displays as "Not specified Apple iPhone" generates a message saying that "Apple iPhone is an older USB device and may not work with USB 3.0 and plug it into a USB 2.0 port." But when I use USB 2.0 (I tried several times using each of the three USB ports on my PC), troubleshooting the error message says "Apple iPhone won't work correctly with USB 3.0." This seems to be a recent problem, since in March 2016, I could spend a few songs from my PC to my phone using iTunes.
I wish I had some ideas of people who have experienced this problem, I find to be a more frustrating one.
Well, you aren't the only one. This just freakin happened to me. I spent the last three hours with apple and Windows supports. Now I'm reinstalling Windows 10 by last resort of Windows support councils. I got the same message USB. In iTunes, under devices something removed my 5s and the iPad. But it remains 6 s wife. I tried my computers 2-(SS) 3.0 ports and 1 port 2.0 ordinary. I tried all four thinners cables I have. I will let you know the result of the Windows reinstall.

I'm trying to transfer pictures on my old XP computer on an external hard drive. After performing a backup on the drive hard seagate WD I went looking for pictures on the external hard drive, and they aren't there. I went back on the XP machine and tried to copy the files to a CD but I get the message cannot copy file: cannot read the source code or the player. I can open images but cannot move it to another folder or copy and paste pictures anywhere. The photos are saved in an outdated version of microsoft's digital imaging software. Help, please.
