  When you see the message in offline mode , open Internet Explorer and then press Alt + F to open the file menu. If work offline is selected, deselect it.   Shortly after the installation of ios 9.2.1 my iPhone more than 6 cannot receive emails from yahoo. (Before that it worked very well for over a year.) My gmail works fine. I did three times and lost half of my apps when it restored and still my yahoo doesn't the phone app.

  My server contacted me and told me to check my spam using their webmail account, because it was full.  It seems that when I used the rules of the mail I had clicked on delete from the server, just "do not download".  My spam folder was so full that I couldn't receive.
