Cannot remove/uninstall "silverlightconfiguration.exe" from my computer. What is this program, do I need it, and why can't I just remove it?

Can someone tell me why I can't delete "silverlightconfiguration.exe" from my computer? Whenever I try, the "User Account Control" box appears telling me an "unidentified program is trying to access your computer", and it asks me to authorize or not, let him. Under the details section it says no "identified Editor Update 3.0.50106.0 Microsoft Corporation" and he asks me to allow or forbid, and I try to choose 'allow' but it won't let me, so finally, my attempt to uninstall this program is a failure. What is the feature of this program (silverlightconfiguration.exe) and I need, and if not, why doesn't my computer let me remove it?

  • Why can't I just move on with windows7 starter to windows 8, my computer is only 9 months since purchest?

Why can't I just move on with windows7 starter to windows 8, my computer is only 9 months since purchest?

So it will not uninstall then install my programs, or what, then another question is the offer for $14.99, that's what I was watching and I filled a free upgrade and probably has not been fully tested for this upgrade, he said I would be able to get the upgrade, but there is no decrease in my emails guess still in work. While {s it improves just $ 40 million that I should wait for a version pro or ultimate?

And what will happen to my saved files?

and I'll be able to restore to the factory with warranty setting and I can use my series to my computer for the upgrade?

NOW please if you don't know it please tell me I would like to know some facts and since there is so much development, in my view, the pro version is yet to come, so...

Windows 7 Starter is not eligible for the offer of $14.99.  Only Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate. If you must upgrade to Windows 8, then you have to wait on the upgrade $ 39.99 for Windows 8 Pro that will become available October 26, 2012.

The upgrade will allow you to keep your applications, personal files and settings.

Yes, it should be able to restore the factory State, but always backup before making changes on your computer like installing an operating system:

Try to download "autoruns" from Microsoft: when you run it, click on the "Startup" tab and you will see all the programs that start with Windows.  Find your program in the list uncheck just there if you don't want it to run.  Autoruns displays startup programs more than does "msconfig".

  • I'm trying to uninstall a printer from my computer, but the feature uninstal fails to do so. The error message is 5004:Ox7E

My operating system is Windows XP

The printer is a Brother 2035

I also tried the uninstal brother tool but it also fails to remove the software from my computer.

I already deleted the printer, so I can't reconect, which I believe can casue a problem when you try to uninstall?

The above mentioned error message can mean there is a problem with my system?

Everyone knows about this problem? and they were able to find a method to uninstall/remove all files to their printer?

    Thank you very much

    Peter

This error seems to be related with InstallShield.  I did not experience myself, but see this page--> http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/installshield-error-5004-0x80070005.61658/

I would like to start with the 'solution' down - rename the folder InstallShield/Professional.

If all else fails, I suggest you to contact brother support and/or support Flexera Software (unfortunately, there is nothing in the Flexera KnowledgeBase on 5004 with argument 0x7e error and their 'community forum' is not functional at the moment).

To get into Safe Mode, press F8 immediately after the restart.  If you get the Windows logo, you waited too long to start typing.  What you're looking for is white on black 'Advanced Boot Menu Options'.  When you see that, using the arrows (mouse doesn't work here) to select Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.

Reboot will automatically return to normal mode.

  • Uninstall Windows 7 from a computer and put it on another computer?

I am told by pre-sales Microsoft I can install Windows 7 on my current computer and if I uninstall it "correctly" (from my current computer), I can then install it on a new computer (when I am one).  Would be nice even if it came pre-installed because not all computer companies offer a Windows disk more.

In any case, when I tried with Vista, I had to call Microsoft to activate.  No one knows for sure if you can install it on different computers as long as it is installed on a computer at any time?  Can someone explain why I was worth doing this with Vista?

Basically, I'm trying to decide to get it now or wait...

Do you know what they mean when they say "correctly" uninstall?  Usually just, I format my hard drive.

Format and make sure that it is completely removed from your system. Additional resources:

When you reactivate it, in this case, I'll be able to do it myself with the same product key or I will have to call Microsoft every time I have reinstall my software?
You may have to contact Microsoft Activation Center. Andre Da Costa http://adacosta.spaces.live.com http://www.activewin.com

  • Hotmail account compromise - can't use the features after the connection after uninstalling the software from my computer

    Dear Sirs,

I had this account for more than 10 years. The other day I was cleaning software for my machine I've ever used. I remember to remove something that was bound to windows 'LIVE' that says that I rarely used it. Now, I can not use my hotmail account. I can get connected, but can't click on anything whatsoever. When I ride on an element, I get the little hand with the 'wait' finger, but he never goes one further.

I guess I must have pulled something part of the hotmail program work properly. The account is still there. and I changed the password just to be sure. I recently had a hacked Facebook account, but this address/hotmail account has never been associated with the Facebook account. This is why I take it for granted that I deleted something necessary for hotmail.

How can I help you to help me restore this account to the good operating condition? You cannot respond to this account, or I won't be able to read your response. Just reply to:

  • How to uninstall IQUpdater.exe from VISTA? Thank you

Whenever I turn on my computer, a window pops up asking if I want to install IQUpdater.exe.  The only options are "Yes or no".  I think that the TWO '' Yes and no '' could it be installed because I found it in my list of programs.  However, the author of the code also inserted some sort of code that bypasses the operating system of Microsoft (I have VISTA) when a user tries to uninstall IQUpdater.exe.  It puts the user in a loop which is a.  do what Microsoft says to uninstall a program and (b) when the last statement in Microsoft is selected, the computer will display the window asking the user if they want to install IQUpdate.exe and select 'no' just travels the user to control panel.
What am I doing wrong... r what I can do to finally get rid of IQUpdate?  Thank you.
