Cannot retrieve the Satellite A200-1RK - error: 18121 COMPONENTS. SAV

Hiya,

This is it, I got a laptop TOSHIBA Satellite A200-1RK for only less than a year and currently just started to experience problems in this regard.
So I decided to restore the computer to factory settings using the recovery disk supplied with the notebook. After that the following instructions which recommended that the process started to get succesfull until after 100% invites it commond came suddenly with the following error:

[Error: 18121 C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS.] SAV

Error image restoration.

The specified image file did not contain a resource section.

ERROR: ImageX could not apply VISTA E:\05241XP.swm Index 2 weird to C:\.
Press a key to continue...

Then, when I press a key, it remains on a white screen and with TOSHIBA down right and don't turn...
Then I restarted using the power one button came the following:

Windows could not start.
A recent hardware change followed by instructions to use the vista DVD and recover the PC using that...

Help would be greatly appreicated as the laptop does not work... Thanks in advance...

Hello

Hmm strange I have never seen anything like it.
But according to the error message that imagex could not apply VISTA E:\05241XP.swm Index 2 of ODD to C:\ there was a problem copying some files from E to C (from HARD disc to disc).

Have you tried to boot from the recovery again disk? If this isn't the case, then try it!

If you will not be able to restart the laptop using the Toshiba Recovery then disk you should check if it s possible to boot from the other bootable discs like Win XP or similar.

But if none of these disks will work then a hardware problem is possible. In this case I recommend you first HARD drive.

Good luck

    Hello

I hope someone can help me.

I'm not very skilled when it comes to technology please bare with me. My mother has a laptop Toshiba Satellite A200-1RK whom she had for a few years now. She recently dropped it and when she turn back comes up with an error message saying "windows did not start, a recent hardware or software change might be the cause" then it gives you 2 options, 1 is a recommended recovery option and the other just trying it to load windows.

I tried both and they come just with the windows loading screen and doesn't progress t from there. Anyone got any advice on how this could be repaired. My mom has a lot of pictures that she didn't get round to the backup to the hard drive and you can understand what is important to her. Perhaps this is a case that something has been knocked out of place when she dropped him, I do not know Mr. should I consider in a store to get fixed? I put just t like going to these places if I don't have to because I am very little knowledge about the jargon of techno etc.

    Thank you.

  • Cannot retrieve the Satellite to factory settings after installing Win XP

I was running windows recovery then I chose 'delete all data... '. "something like that.
Then in the Middle by mistake I turned off the system.

After that, I tried to start windows so was in error "missing operating system". I managed to install WINDOWS XP, so I could access HDD RECOVERY but nothing happened.

I tried pressing the "F8" key and also the '0' key when the computer starts to "toshiba" logo but it is still not send me any option to get my computer back to windows vista or you can say "out of the box.

One important thing is, while installing windows XP its show me this HARD drive recovery exist and 973 MB is free off 5665 MB. This means that I have still all windows and the drivers on the HARD drive. Now please help to return normal system recovery or BOX STATE.

    > After I tried to start windows so was in error "missing operating system". I managed to install WINDOWS XP, so I could access HDD RECOVERY but nothing happened.

The installation of Win XP has damage and remove the Boot Manager and options preinstalled by Toshiba and backed by Toshiba picture.

This means that if you will be unable to retrieve the device using the drive HARD recovery option.

You could retrieve the device back to factory settings using only the Toshiba recovery disc! But I guess that you didn't create this disk is good?

Well, in this case, you can order this disc from here:

  • Cannot retrieve the Satellite P200-123 - IMAGEX error message

    Hello

I HAVE A LAPTOP TOSHIBA P200-123 AND I AM DOING A RECOVERY, BUT FOR SOME REASON, IT IS ABOUT 19 TO 26% AND THEN RETURNS WITH AN ERROR SAYING THAT IT COULD
IS NOT APPLICABLE TO IMAGEX AND I'M AT A LOSE WHAT TO DO.

IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM.

    Hello Erin

It is not easy to say why this happens because this error message occurs for different issues.
One thing can be the reason for this.

If I well remember when you start the recovery option it must be key SETUP (next step after the confirmation of the language). Maybe you're trying to use installation option OS on the existing partition).
I tested it a long time ago, and I can confirm that this will not work. What is happening is very strange.
What is happening, it's a procedure facility trying to install the OS on partition WinRE (Vista). This partition is 1.5 GB only and after 20 or 30% facilities simply stops.
Maybe you try to do this. I do not know.

Try using the installation of recovery with the default settings. Don't change anything in the configuration option.
Test if you please and let me know exactly what is happening.

  • After retrieving the Satellite A200 doesn't recognized partitions

Recently my A200 Satellite crashed, but since you are using the Windows recovery disc is no longer recognizing the partition that came pre-installed, and I can is more to move, copy, or delete files.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you.

Recovery image defines how the partitions will be created before the installation of recovery begins so you can install the OS using the 1000 times recovery disc and the result will always be the same.

After using the recovery installation, you can change the partitions, but after installing recovery image, you will have the same situation as before.
If I m remembering well after the installation of recovery, you will see two partitions on the HDD (C and D). Optical disc drive must be E. On the second partition D it will be copied recovery image and saved in folder HDDRecovery.

Don t worry, everything is OK.

    Hello

In my opinion, there are two reasons that can explain why the recovery procedure fails.

    (1) failure of HARD drive
    (2) failure of the recovery disc

I think you should first check if the disk HARD isn t the troublemaker.
Go to BIOS (F2) and check if the HARD drive is listed on the first page of the BIOS.
In case it is, the HARD drive may be OK

In this case, the recovery disc may be defective.
In this case, you should get in contact with the provider/supplier (Arvato) disk for the new medium.

  • ORA-01124: cannot retrieve the data file 1 - file is in use or recovery

I'm trying to recover the database in waiting, but it gives the error below.

ORA-00283: cool cancelled due to errors
ORA-01124: cannot retrieve the data file 1 - file is in use or recovery, the recovery is already said
    ORA-01110: data file 1: ' I:\ORACLE\QAS\SAPDATA1\SYSTEM_1\SYSTEM. DATA1'

When I checked in the alert log recovery is not started. and later I hae given ' alter database recover Cancel "and the command to meet with the threshold.

    "media recovery has not started.

It seems that the recovery was stuck between the two.
Please advise me how to kill the recovery session that is stuck. because I don't want to bounce the database pending.

    Thanks in advance.

Dataguard and MRP, you run a script before.

In a standby scripted, a session to RETRIEVE the DATABASE would an UNTIL clause (SEQUENCE up to THAT most likely). At the end of the recovery at this point (SEQUENCE #), he left and stop at the database.

In addition, the script is such that when a RECOVERY session is active, another session is not authorized to start. It can loop in pending state or go out and do it again the next scheduled interval.

Apparently your startup script is not strong enough to prevent another session of RECOVERY to start even though the first is active (or it doesn't have a good up to THAT clause and stop, exit, closing stocks)

What you have is a custom implementation of a database of pending. Without all the details of the script, the 'blocking' between sessions (to avoid a second RECOVER start when one is already running) etc... We can't really do much to help you.
Your scripts must be standing with status information. It should be possible for you to discover the 'other' sqlplus session which emanates a DATABASE to RECOVER, but not yet out (p. ex... How about a simple "ps - ef |") grep sql' and ' ps - ef | combination of grep ora"?)

  • 10gr 2-Sybase15-ORA-28545: cannot retrieve the text of the message from NETWORK/NCR

    Hi all

I am trying to establish connectivity between Oracle 10 g 2 (Win XP Pro 2002) and Sybase ASE 15.0.2 (Sun Solaris 5.9) by using the transparent gateway for Sybase (TG4SYBS), but encountered the following error. I have looked for a solution quite well in all directions, but so far have been quite unlucky. This is my last resort. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong as I followed the steps of installation and configuration correctly. Please note:
-Oracle transparent gateway software and database are installed in different homes; and,
-J' created and tested the ODBC DSN connectivity with the Sybase server.

The only thing that I have real concern about is the version of the Sybase server 64-bit OS; Windows Oracle server is 32-bit. Are going to count this could be the problem?
