Cannot return the default font size

78 I have eye problems and I went to 'Customize' and changed the size of the font at 120 but then I found that makes a few screens too large to access the lower part of the screen.  Specifically, I can't access the statement 'OK' at the bottom of the Customization screen to return to the default value. Even if the response only shows my idiocy of the computer, I would really like to help.

You are welcome.

  • Change the default font size Windows 8 Mail app

Original title: Calibri 12 No 11?

Why is the font of default mail Calibri 12 and not 11? All other MS products use Calibri 11 and my emails look like they came the first blackberry whenever my colleagues open them. The solution is to change each email to Calibri 11, but it's so ghetto. How to get something like this loser? Please tell me the registry key to resolve this issue.

Looks like 8 win mail application is a total bust. I found the "Windows Live Mail" app where I can add all my accounts and customize the default fonts. The behavior is similar to outlook. hope that helps people.

  • How to change the default font size in Word pad

How to change the font and size of the default settings in wordpad?

    Thank you

You can change the font and size and then save it as a template - ex: default.wri

Navigate to this file and make it read-only. Create a shortcut to it and use it as WordPad in the future.

It will always come back with the font settings that you put, but you will need to save it under a new name every time (you usually do in any case).

There is no other way to keep the settings of fonts in WordPad.

    Thank you

As usual for any question about the appearance, you MUST indicate what built-in theme is used, or provide information on your custom theme...

Most of these themes using the very poor practices to use the universal selector in their CSS to define the size of the general police using absolute font size units, something like:

    * { font-size: 11px; }

    http://meyerweb.com/Eric/articles/webrev/200006a.html

It is better to know exactly how this is done in the theme in use. The use of this blunt instrument causes all sorts of problems.

The rule of the universal selector must be overridden, or by modifying the existing CSS (not recommended if it's a built-in theme), adding another stylesheet to all page templates, or incorporating a style rule in the header of every page in use patterns. The latter is probably the easiest:

but it would be better to be in a style sheet for ease of maintenance. See the documentation for how to add custom style sheets and make sure the substitution appears after the reference to the CSS theme.

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E14373_01/AppDev.32/e11838/themes.htm#BABFIFJC

It's really best not to use absolute (px or pt) font size units, but it is difficult to get things working properly between browsers in quirks mode (as used by the existing themes) by using the proper techniques.

  • How to restore the default font size.

in the middle of typing, the international dimension went from normal to lower case.  I want to restore it the factory default,

    Hello

What is your machine and operating system? Try this first

    • Hold down the CTRL
    • Press on + (plus) sign several times

You can also use a mouse or a touchpad for this

    Good luck.

  • Default font size cannot be restored

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 on a desk. For unexplained reasons, the font size of all the configuration windows (a window where you select for example the font DPI) have opted for a font size tiny who cannot yet be read without a magnifying glass. I tried to restore the default font size in the window of the control without result Panel.

I can indeed click the bar 'restore the default fonts', but on that same windows at the bottom left is a button which remains grayed out so I can not confirm this choice and he will take no effect.

Is there a work around to restore this font size by default please?

HKEY is a path within the registry. Registry is where Windows stores the parameters key, including the boot settings and other complex parameters, which makes the work of Windows.

To open the registry editor, goto start-> type regedit.exe-> click on enter. If UAC prompts, click Yes.

In the left pane, you can see HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Click on the + to expand the tree. Under this expanded tree, look for software. Expand it. Similarly, look for Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes\MS Shell Dlg. You can see your current path to the status bar.

Once you click on FontSubstitues, on the right pane, you can see the list of parameters. Goto MS Shell Dlg 2. Double click on it. Tahoma type, click Ok. Then close the Registry Editor window. Now reboot the PC and verification.

Before you proceed, see the following link for the backup of the registry, which is recommended:

  • Change the default font in Word pad

  • In Wordpad - how can I change the default font?

I hope this is the right category for this question. I'm changing the default font in WordPad.  Using WINDOWS 7. The default font is "calibri", and I want to change in Arial. I can't find anything in the help of Wordpad menu that says you can change the default font. There are instructions to change the default format, spacing, etc. but nothing about how to change the font permanently.

And I don't mean in a single document that I know how to change temporarily. I want to know if the default font can be changed permanently in WINDOWS 7 WORDPAD.

I could do in XP so it goes without saying that I should be able to do so under Windows 7

Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how?

    Thank you

Of course, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong!

    Hello

You cannot change the default font in Wordpad, but there is a work around.
    a. open Wordpad and the police that you want and then save it as a template and exit Wordpad.
    b. open the file you just saved and read only to avoid accidentally on writing. Create a shortcut to it and use this to launch WordPad in the future.

It always goes back to the police that you put, but you will need to save it under a new name every time.

Click on the link below and follow the steps mentioned by Ronnie Vernon and Ptsome110.

  • How to set the default font to a lower value size?

I recently received the update of the Firefox 22.0 20130514181517 build (at the same time as an update to Windows 7, I might add) and since then, on every Web site default font sizes have been expanded. I have a 17 "monitor, but due to fonts grossly overscaled, it looks more like an old 14", and it is quite irritating. To view websites in about the old way, they serve to study, I have to zoom out twice, but it also means that I have to do this on all websites. I also used to zoom accidentally inside or outside while using the touchpad on my laptop, so whenever I have ctrl-0 to restore the police, it goes back to the large font size, and I need her rezoom again.

I am mostly trying to figure out if there is a way to reset the font size without the help of Add-ons.

    Thank you

Amendments of the code regarding the HiDPI support high-resolution displays have landed at Firefox 22 and later (bug #844604).

You can change the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and increase or decrease the value of 0.1 or 0.05 as follows to adjust the size of fonts and other elements in Firefox.

    • The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref is a string parsed in float value and allows you to adjust the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) specifically (resolution 0.1 or 0.05).
    • Change the default value of-1 to 1 to make it work as in previous versions of Firefox (100%)

Start with a value of 1 and adjust this value with 0.1 or 0.05 for finer settings.

    • Use values between 1.0 and around 0.5 to reduce the size of the items (do NOT go all the way to 0.05!)
    • Use a value greater than 1.0 to grow and enlarge the elements (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI).

If the web pages must be adjusted after changing this pref so you can watch the extension Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint.

This extension allows to adjust the font size for the user interface:
