Cannot run query because of RepositoryException
Hello
I'm new to this product.
I am customizing the application of CRS. I want to create a point in ProductCatalog descriptor and must insert some properties. Here is my custom .xml
<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
< gsa-model >
< name point-descriptor = "check_inv" >
< table name = "My_DCS_SKU" type = "primary" id-column-name = "sku_id" >
< property name = data type "inventory_status" = "string".
column-name = display-name-resource "INVENTORY_STATUS" = "inventory_status" default = "InStock" / >
< property name = data type "sku_id" = "string".
column-name = display-name-resource "sku_id" = "sku_id" / >
< /table >
< / descriptor point >
< / gsa-model >
With this XML, I am able to see my newly added and point-descriptor properties in dyn/admin(in ProductCatalog). Even if I am able to check the values of these properties in dyn/admin.
But in jsp when I get the inventory_status, I get an exception:
Cannot run query because of the RepositoryException: atg.repository.RepositoryException: no property named 'sku40145' could be found in the descriptor of the item "check_inv".
I added the following code in jsp.
< name dsp:droplet = "/ atg/dynamo/drop/RQLQueryForEach" >
< name dsp:param = "queryRQL" value = "sku_id = sku40145" / >
< name dsp:param = "repository".
value = "/ atg/commerce/catalog/ProductCatalog" / >
< name dsp:param = "itemDescriptor" value = "check_inv" / >
< name dsp:oparam = "output" >
< p > < dsp:valueof param = "element.inventory_status" / >
< / dsp:oparam >
< / dsp:droplet >
Please suggest me how to get rid of this problem?
I use ATG10.1.1
Thank you

Cannot run chkdsk - Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process.
original title: can I run chkdsk on win xp home, but when I try to use switches, I get cannot lock the current drive. Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. HELP PLEASE
I run chkdsk without switches on win xp home. I told myself I file error and to set running chkdsk with /f. but when I try, I get the cannot lock the drive, chkdsk may not run because ect... I tried in safe mode, same thing. I sfc/scannow, but it has not fixed the problem files. help please
It's normal. You can not run a check disk on your system disk because your system is to use. The Message you get should ask you if you want to run it at the next reboot. You must answer 'Yes' to this message, and then restart your computer. A disk check should take place as it is restarted.
FYI: A check disk can take hours if you have a large drive or there are a lot of problems on the disc and you cannot use your machine while the scan is in progress. Better to operate during the night. Also, I got checkdsk completely erase the hard disk to the point where the only option was to reformat and reinstall Windows. Make sure that your data available are well-supported before running Chkdsk.

Cannot run chkdsk in mode in Windows 7
Well, it seems a bit odd, but these last weeks even if I try to run the "chkdsk/f/x c:" command in elevated mode it stops immediately after control of the type of volume as follows:
«The type of the file system is NTFS.»
Access denied as long as you have enough privileges.
You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode. »The high mode title bar displays command prompt "Administrator: command prompt" and executes the diskpart and sfc commands quite normally, but the only problem is running chkdsk with indicator repair.
Even the GUI mode chkdsk option denies running chkdsk if repair is checked.
Tried to Disable Symantec Endpoint 12.1 and Comodo Firewall, but the problem is the same.
However, I never connected to built in Administrator profile, so today I am logged in as an administrator, windows has set up the office by creating a new profile and from there "chkdsk/f/x c:" works correctly.
Even more, if I use the following command then also chkdsk runs successfully
runas / user: computer\Administrator "chkdsk c: /f /x.
Can you please give me a solution?
Hi Denise,
Thank you for you answer and provide a detailed description of the issue. As you said, you had problems with his profile a few months ago, there could be opportunities for corruption in the user account that could have caused this problem.
Try to fix a corrupted user profile and check if it helps.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/fix-corrupted-user-profile#1TC=Windows-7I hope this helps to solve the issue. If you still have the same problem, get back to us. We will be happy to help you.
Well, before I ask the question I already checked with a new profile.
Surprisingly today, after you have installed the Java runtime update a problem. Reasons? Anyone?
But thank you all for your support.

Cannot run chkdsk and subsequently cannot run the defragmentation
I'm unable to defragment my hard drive. It is said that there is a regular print run of chkdsk at startup which never works. If I try to run chkdsk /f myself, I get a message that says that the computer is unable to lock the station and that the volume is already used by a different process. Does anyone have a tip?
Is it possible to run chkdsk or scandisk at startup by pressing a certain button?
Is there a list of tasks scheduled outside of that Panel?Hello
I assume that you have enabled the service chkdsk under properties of the HARD drive.
If you have activated the chkdsk in Windows you need to restart the device and after restarting again the blue screen should appear a the chkdsk must begins. In my opinion you simply restart your device after the start of the chkdsk command.

Cannot run chkdsk/f.
Have windows xp/sp3. You try to run chkdsk/f. Message says system needs to run at next boot. When I do run scan disk only and reports errors found. Promts run me chkdsk/f. I tried this in safe mode, start normally. Same thing happens every time. What should I do?
Hello terrystephens16
Go to "Start" "Run" type "msconfig" without the quotes. When the window opens select the first "Général" tab, select "normal startup" click on apply and OK
Have a look in the Msconfig tab > Boot.ini make sure that ' / SOS ' is disabled in the Startup Options section. If it is checked, then it will cause chkdsk check each time you start.
If you continue to have the problem with CHKDSK, then a command prompt window (start > all programs > Accessories > prompt)
At the prompt, type
CHKNTFS /D (there is a space before /)
Come in
Reset
CHKDSK will run again, but I hope that it will be the last time that he did.

Cannot run chkdsk under Vista or restart
While Vista is on, volume is in use. Command prompt run as administrator, said volume in use - you want to run chkdsk on reboot - YES. However, chkdsk does not run after a reboot.
Camden,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum. Most likely, there is a service or a process that prevents chkdsk from starting when the system restarts. The best way to fix this is to go to a clean boot by disabling all unnecessary services and then allowing them one by one until the problem occurs. Then you will know what process or service is initially that he will not run. Likely guilty would be the antivirus software or any third-party disk utilities. Here's how to do a clean boot:

The Stop 0 x 24 message indicates that a problem has occurred in Ntfs.sys, the driver file that allows the system to read and write to NTFS file system drives. A message similar to Stop 0 x 23, exists for the file systems (FAT16 or FAT32) file allocation table to.
Possible resolutions:
1. hardware malfunctioning SCSI and Advanced Technology Attachment (ATA) or drivers can also adversely affect the ability of the system to read and write to disk, causing errors. If you use SCSI hard disks, check the wiring problems and ending between the SCSI controller and the disks. Periodically check Event Viewer for error messages that are associated with SCSI or FASTFAT in the journal system or Autochk in the application log.
2. check that the tools that allows you to continuously monitor your system, such as virus scanners, programs of backup or disk defragmenters are compatible with Windows XP. Some drives and cards are issued with diagnostic software that you can use to run hardware tests.

I need to restart once again...
Any help?My next question:
As far as I know; the mouse pad is multi touch... (enlarge the pictures and rotate images)
Well, only the function enlarge works.I can't return all images... I try to use the picasa software and also tried to rotate the image in bed in the viewer in win 7...

If the mentioned touchpad function supports then you should check if it should already be enabled on the system.
This, to go to the control panel-> mouse-> device-> settings settings tab (maybe the properties). In any case, you should find all the options that are supported by the touchpad software.

Cannot run report because activexviewer.cab is blocked
Win 7, IE9, or IE8, running is not serious. I can run my report on an XP operating system. I've made all the adjustments in my Security tab. It says it has installed but always gets blocked! Help!
Hi Amy,
What I ended up doing is right-clicking on IE9 and run as administrator > Internet Options > advanced > check (scroll down to the Security section) "allow software to run or install even if the signature is not valid." Close the browser, re - open (run as administrator again) and run your report. Now, I know not everyone has administrator rights for their machines, but you may be able to configure the settings to allow this cab file to install and run as administrator for them. Give it a try.PS: I tried calling first =) -

You have scheduled a chkdsk scan in the past?
Try the following:
Right-click on command prompt and select run as administrator
Type: chkdsk /f /r
Press enter
You will receive a message:
Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. You want to schedule this volume to check the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)
Press y and press ENTER to schedule the disk check on startup
Note: /f: corrects errors on the disk.
/r : Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information.
If you had already scheduled a chkdsk which stagnates and reboots at startup, and then follow the instructions in the link below.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process
My computer was working fine until last night. Now when I connect I get a blue screen saying that the computer shuts down to prevent further damage from happening. I tried to restore to an earlier point in time when my computer was working but then I get the error:
The OS disk (C :) has errors.
Windows has detected corruption on OS (C :) file system. You should check the drive for errors before you can restore it.So I'm going to run the chkdsk utility, and I get the error:
Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. You want to schedule this volume to check the next time the system restarts.I'm confused because the chkdsk unility usually works, and I have no idea why she is being used by another process. I am clearly not very good with computers. I tend to do a lot of spywear and adwear on my computer. I have Spyware Doctor that removes any infection.
Help, please. I've tried everything. Thank you.
Asha22,
It appears from your last post why chkdsk did not run on reboot and you gave an incorrect message is that you did not a space between the volume and the f number. The correct syntax is:CHKDSK c: /f
You can also run the utility disc in this way:
http://windowshelp.Microsoft.com/Windows/en-us/help/bc1393cf-9f9c-79C7-0f91-9337c2c41f811033.mspx1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.
2. right click on the hard drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click check now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will simply report a problem, but not to fix them.
To perform a full disk check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This scan is trying to find and repair physical errors on the hard drive itself, and it may take much longer to complete.
To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
4. click on start.
Depending on the size of your hard disk, this may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.Note: If you select automatically errors in file system of fix for a disc that is used (for example, the partition that contains Windows), you will need to reschedule the disk check for the next time you restart your computer.
The reason that it says that the disk is in use by another process is because it is in use by the operating system (Vista), and that's why it must be run at startup, before the operating system loads fully.
Another utility, you need to perform is the System File Checker, if you can get your computer to start, either normally or in Mode without failure.
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
Right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
At the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:
sfc/scannow
When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.Let us know what these tests are and how we can also provide assistance.
Thank youGloria

I have administrator privileges, but when I run CHKDSK it says access denied due to insufficient privileges. You have to invoke this utility in elevated mode.
How can I fix it?
Hello
1. what prompted to run chkdsk on your computer?
To work with this problem, refer to these methods.
Method 1:
I suggest that you disable the antivirus software temporarily and try to run chkdsk on your computer.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Warning:
Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.Method 2:
You can check disk errors using the command-line of the system recovery options in Windows 7.
What are the system recovery options in Windows 7?
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7
To open the System Recovery Options, see the section: to open the menu system on your computer Recovery Options
Important: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.
Check if it helps.
