  Your antivirus has blocked that site or its certificate is not allow? If not, reset ff use it or reinstall it and try to run it with all the addons and plugins disabled (only those which you think it must be enabled)

• Satellite Pro S500 - 11 c - cannot install Java on Firefox

  Hello
  Our company has recently bought three laptops S500 - 11 c.

  One of the software we use requires Java must be installed in the browser, this isn't a problem in IE or Chrome, but we do not have Java installed on Firefox, which is the main browser that we use.

  We tried several different versions of Firefox and Java, but nothing seems to work. We also tried to turn off the "Activate the Java plug-in of new generation" feature of Java, but this did not help. It was suggested to try to reconnect a couple of files in the folder/java/bin on the folder/firefox/plugin, but this has simply Firefox to crash when it attempted to load applets.

  The laptop is fresh out of the box and is running Windows 7 32 bit. I think it might be some kind of conflict between the Toshiba Apps and Firefox.

  Someone else has experienced this problem or provide assistance?

  I use the latest version of Firefox and Java and everything works correctly. So I have problems with the two programs.

  Very often, problems with Adobe Reader can be cured by uninstalling and reinstalling.

  Use Control Panel > add or remove programs.

  • Uninstall Adobe Reader X and Adobe Air (do not uninstall Flash Player Active X or Shockwave Player).
  • Double check to make sure that there are no other versions of Adobe Reader.  If there are, uninstall them.

  Download Adobe Reader here http://get.adobe.com/reader/ --> don't forget to uncheck the box to install McAfee Security Scan Plus.

  Restart the computer in a "clean boot" mode as follows:

  Open the System Configuration utility (start > run > msconfig > OK)

  Restart the computer.

  I'm almost certain that you have not applied P6 EPPM E8.2 SP1 properly. There some scripts of database to be implemented which will create the notice required in PXRPTUSER with column LASTUPDATEDATEX. Try to rerun the scripts according to the instruction in service pack 1. The script is particular is orpm_px_rpt_src.sql to be executed in the PXRPTUSER schema.

  Let me know if this does not work after that.

• Cannot run Flash10 with internet explorer 9.

  I am running Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit OS. My problems started when I upgraded to Flash 10. I'm under Internet Explore 9 32 bit.  Flash 10 download States that Flash has been successfully installed, but when I go to any site that contained flash, I get the message "a newer version of Flash needed.

  I don't clutter you no what I tried, they are all in the nets of flash.  Alas, I am now using Google Chrome car
  Flash 10 works with it.

  If someone comes up with a solution that works in all cases, please send me a note.  Adobe, shame on you for not taking a more active role in the resolution of this SERIOUS problem.

  Let me know what precedes. I would like you to evaluate first because if you can't see the logo and then modify the ActiveX filtering we know what was causing the problem if that does not actually resolve it.

  I don't know in what circumstances Hotmail would ask a phone number. Perhaps there is some suspicious activity on your account.

  American database page requires a plug-in to install. It does not install and there is also no indication if there is such a plugin.

  ToyViewer is an application, not a plugin. Pointless, when you can not download the TIFF files.

• Java 7 does not seem to play nice with Firefox 14

  Whenever I tried to launch a Web page of Java and Java with Firefox v14.0.1 v 7.5, the application would crash and I have to close firefox. I tried several resolutions, including the uninstall and re-sinstalling firefox, java and various combinations of uninstall and restart.

  It's only when I drove back Java Version 6, I am now able to open Java-based Web pages. I believe there is some sort of bug Firefox with Java version 7.5. Everyone see the same question, or is it just me?

  I am running Windows 7 and have no practical XP; I wonder if Java 7 was fully tested with XP?

  If you reinstall Java 7, there are a few other troubleshooting procedures to try, including disabling it all extensions and by disabling or removing the JInitiator plugin.
