  The behavior I have is that the video plays very well the first set, in subsequent runs she still plays, but no picture.   The only thing I could find that closely resembles your question is this: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/321431 but is the opposite of your circumstances, it has the version CS4 crashing in SP2.  Technically Adobe "recommends" of Windows XP SP3 even if SP2 is listed.  I don't know if the update would eventually Illustrator to stop working well.

  What I would recommend at this stage is to contact Adobe technical support and raise this point as an installation problem installation does not work properly and see how they handle it.  They will need to access your installation log (KB Article explaining how to get it: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404083.html ).  With a record of trouble online, you can download the log FTP (the instructions given to you during the process) and then Adobe can help you.

  I tried to save JPEG images after making a few changes to Photoshop CS4. For each file, I get the message "cannot save (file name) because the file is already in use or left open."   This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

  Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

  Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

  I got this yesterday after the 3.6.4 problem upgrade. I'm not sure if I saw all the things you did, but I have def lost all bookmarks and the back button. I fixed it by:
  1. go to the Firefox profile directory, which for me is here but 1st bit will be different for you as mine work specific:

  C:\Documents and Settings\U049177\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\soez0lvk.default
  2 delete places.sqlite and places.sqlite - journal

  3. start Firefox (you should have the back button now works but not Favorites, he recreated to these 2 files)
