  My laptop Vista 32 unreal access router and ping its own IP address, but no access to Vista 64-bit Wired Office with ping or try to access folders shared I place some months ago and used without problem until about 2 days ago. I recently did a restore of the laptop but it worked after that and I adjusted all the settings. I have Net bios over TCP/IP enabled on both machines. I became a master browser errors on Vista 64 desktop until I changed the registry on the laptop off car with respect to the list of servers. I'm a computer technician with networking experience, but am confused on this one. There are so many problems over there near the mine, but they usually have xp machines trying to access Vista or vice-verse. In addition, they cannot access the Internet generally. If anyone out there has any intelligent suggestions I'm desperate, but know that I have this research completely so guess I did all the basic troubleshooting to save time you and me.   Hey thanks for getting back to me, I wanted to let you know that I could solve the problem! I'm not sure excatly what the problem was, but I went and bought a fixed register a program so that I paid for, as you no doubt know the free just ruin your machine more than it is useful, well I ran that and restarted and BOOM! Now even if I can connect to each computer and the internet. I'm still not able to ping? Now when I say that this is not so much genral, the laptop I can ping any name of site Web and number but not the PC. On the PC I can ping its own IP address but not the router or laptop? But it has no bearing on anything so I anticipate leaving me well enough alone. I how ever to download a graphics professional ping program, but not to worried about it! Thank you so much for you help and if I need more help, I hope you are avalibale!

  OK, the "last" to you may not be the 'last' to me, or others. But I know that you get to this screen if you can't go past the permissions screen when you start.

  Try this, initialize the device a traction battery and when this permissions screen, press the ESC key once... that's the key to the right of the trackball. It should disappear.

  While your application may very well be authentic, it could also be interpreted as a surreptitious attempt to bypass Windows security.

  But I can't get either Windows "Fax and Scan", "Digitization management", or my image of 3rd party software to recognize the flat bed scanner with this installation, because there seems to be no separate "Device" option that can be selected for the parameter of the intellectual property of scanning, only for the "HP psc 2400 series", than Windows easily reconizes for direct installation of USB device , "offline".

  Also, if I try to select the option of "HP psc 2400 series" IP for scanning with my 3rd party software, and any choice of Twain and WIA driver is grayed out, so it can not create the profile in order to USE the scan function. And try to create a port separate Windows for the scanner function only, using the same IP address, only you will get an IP conflict problem, not creating a separate port works, anyway.

  Is there a way to get the dumpster to function to work through my router IP to analysis, or will I have to change my USB cable from the router to my pc using the offline option USB hub, whenever I need to analyze something?

  I must point out, that I still have to use the popular tomato, DD - Wrt, or Firmware of Merlin for extras, as a newbie, I just use the official Asus Firmware (last updated), for now.  Thank you.

  I see that you are having problems with your PSC 2410xi scanning on your Windows PC. I can help with that.

  First of all, I see that you have the printer plugged into a USB port on your router. Which can cause a lot of problems and it would be better to plug directly into your PC. Once done you will add a printer via a local connection, rather than via a network connection.

  Then, using this printer on Windows 7 Enterprise is going to be difficult because there is no driver available for this operating system. I found a document but that can help you troubleshoot. Install your printer using the Windows built-in driver

  Very strange, the problem is now gone, I can do messages and payments without problems that I mentioned at the outset. Only difference I can see, is that I now use Firefox 35.0.1. In any case, my problem disappeared, so I won't spend much time on development why it happened.

  What card theme you are using?  And what version of iPhoto?  Your internet connection is working?

  In iPhoto 9.6.1, you can add a location in layout mode.  Zoom in on the map and ctrl - click the location on the map, and then select 'Add Place '.

  In mode 'Options', you should be able to press the button "+" and type a name for the place. The location search pictures by name. You can also ctrl - click on the map and add the location manually.

  What happens when you try to add a place? You get an error message?

  If the computers aren't on the same network and and/or that the network is not along the NetBIOS name - then you will need to use the IP address or some form of dynamic DNS.  The alternative would be to change your HOSTS file so that you can give the name you want and not have to remember the IP address that is now associated with that name in the HOSTS file.

  The hourglass does not appear when I click on disk cleanup function. I closed and started in safe mode, but still no luck. I can't put my Windows disc to try to do a repair that I loaded SP3 and my version of disc is only SP2.

• AnyConnect works at the main location and for internet, but not over the WAN

  I have a firewall of 5525 asa running an Anyconnect VPN.  I have three sites and it will be the access point for all.  There is a mpls wan between sites.  The Anyconnect IP pool is 192.168.165.x 255.255.255.0. In the primary site, the local IP addresses are 172.17.x.x 255.255.0.0 and 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.x legacy.  Remote sites are 192.168.20.x 255.255.255.0 and 192.168.30.x 255.255.255.0.

  From a PC to my LAN, I can reach the four lines and servers ping, tracert, and access by name or number.  When it is connected to the the anyconnect, I can only access the 172.17.x.x and 192.168.10.x.  We're set up for a lot of tunnel the VPN so this is important.  I tried to add routes to the routers on each side of the WAN to point 192.168.165.x traffic to the firewall's inside address based on a tip I read on the map here, but that did not help.  Any ideas where I should look next?

  When I scan a page 11 document, I can only fax 1 page at a time. In windows XP, I could click a little box next to a component and fax scans as much as I needed to. Seems to be a promblem with the firmware? Help, please.

  You will need to scan each file the flat bed of the scanner, in PDF format, select under Advanced to combine all the scans. Then once they are on your computer, you can use the software PC - Fax to fax this back scan. This is your best solution.
