  • BlackBerry Smartphones can send/receive emails via my blackberry curve

Hi I'm new to this forum and am not a user, even if were using a older Bay to work emails for the last 3 years; just got this new bberry lcurve ess than a month ago at best buy and they have set up to receive emails from my 2 separate and personal Treaty, no email work. It worked great until today about 05:20 Pacific when my last GSM 2 I sent were stuck and marked with a red 'x'. The last email I received was 05:08 and none after that.  I can receive/send emails normally via the portable and desktop.  I even checked the billing, and I'm not behind in payments. • Cannot send/receive pictures of 4s

Hi guys, I'm a grandma (74 years young) I have an iPhone 4S and recently I could not send or receive pictures... worked well until about 2 weeks ago. Can still receive the text that's attached to the photos... anyone help please?

I checked all my settings and everything seems to be the same as before this problem.

MMS settings should be considered in settings > Messages. MMS must be activated, and cellular data should be lit. If you still do not receive the photos, then contact your carrier and have them verify your account to ensure that it is correctly configured for MMS. They may have to reset or re - configure the account. But also SMS, MMS is a function of carrier. They control.

  • Cannot send/receive mail in the Windows Mail app on my laptop only

I can't send or receive emails in Windows 8 on my laptop as he repeats to me in the upper right: "'* address email is removed from the privacy * is not available" (where xxx is my name). " I also have the Hotmail app on my iPhone and Android phone and they both signed and receive mail fine. I can even use my SkyDrive app very well on my laptop. Only the mail is affected.

I rebooted to see if something had to be refreshed, but it made no difference. Anyone has an idea why this error and the inability to send/receive mail my mail?

    Hello

Thank you very much for answering. I managed to settle the question, not that I know what it is. This is the only laptop among the many features that I sync with mail Outlook.com. I ended up going in the settings of the Mail application, off 'Synch Mail' and then I went back in the settings and turned on Synch Mail.

Email stuck in my Outbox sent immediately and new messages have arrived. FIX :-)

Some people do not like the Windows Mail application (it may not meet their most demanding needs), but I like it. I rarely use my MS Outlook more as it seems very small and crowded, by comparison. I love getting the full screen on my laptop to see what I just want to see, without toolbars and taskbars fly screen real estate.

Sorry for the rant and thanks again for the reply.

    Best regards
    Brian.

  • Passport for blackBerry cannot send or receive pictures via text

Just received my passport and cannot send or receive pictures via text messages... Tried rebooting, and at that time there the image I try to send a text says "interrupted by restart send" even if the consignment was at least an hour earlier... Frustrated...

    In respect of the advance...

Send the text must be sms unless you plan to send messages of msm.

Also the title of advance, to informed AFN and MMSC URL

Without these two informed it will not work.

I can no longer send you pictures via my Panasonic Lumix program or the range of file photos.  I can via Windows Live Mail but it is tedious to do.  The problem started when I change my ISP AOL to Comcast (I think).  When I try to do as I have always done in the past, I get this message:

Here is the message I get:

To resolve this issue, go to help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail" and read the section "I have problems sending e-mail". • Cannot send e-mail to the server... get alerts of demand... except on a local wireless connection

This had led me batty since I got the phone.  My mail server is on my local network.  If I send an email from the local network without wire of the pre to my mail server quite well.  If I try to send an email via the network of sprint - or actually on the network wireless anyone, he's going through.  I can sit here a my firewall monitor and the see through and I can also see it connect to my email server, so I know not that there is a good connection there.  I don't have any problems with imap works in any situation with the pre, so I'm sure something happens.

My firewall rules are the same for IMAP/IMAP-SSL/ESMTP/ESMTP-SSL (with just the ports change.)  I am able to send an email from my client of the laptop to my mail... Server and able to send an email from my Treo 755 p using snappermail on the network of sprint very well.

    The firewall is PFSense 1.2

Mail server is Courier 0.62.1 running on Centos 4.7 (no firewall running ip)

    Really confused!

    Thank you

Done this, and it still doesn't get me anywhere.

But I end up finally solve the problem...

It seems that my server ident checks had to timeout... who was taking too long for the final customer... so needless to say I said to my server does not perform a check ident and email send accelerated time.  good thing is this speeds also send other things too.

    It seems that the timeout for sending electronic mail of the pre is 'short' as< 30="" seconds="" or="" so..="" i'm="" not="" sure="" what="" the="" standard="" timeout="" should="" be..="" but="" my="" issue="" appears="" to="" be="">

Thanks halula for trying to direct me towards some additional info, but that debug information was not useful... I ended up doing some pre openssl commands and synchronization between local and remote have been, well... huge... once I passed this point... a moment of work helped google in the right direction.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can not receive pictures via text

    I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 software: v7.1.0.1066

I can't understand how to send photos or video via a text message.  Can I receive, and I know that my service allows me to send it, because I had my parents added to my plan (AT & T family plan) and they can also send photos with their phones from wal-mart for $10.  Whenever I have search the Internet how to do this, they show screen phone calls with the menu that lists several options for how send a photo, and one of them is text.  My phone does not have this option if, whenever I hit send on a picture my only three options are e-mail, bluetooth and Tag (don't know exactly what it is, but when you select it says to place the back of the two phones together, is not an option in SMS language).  In addition, nowhere in my menu when composing a text find an option to add attachments. so I can send them this way or the other.

HA, had fixed after only on the hour on the phone being bounced back from AT & T BlackBerry and vice versa. For anyone who purchases a phone off of the internet (ebay), even if it is new, it can be registered by a dealer or a supplier that offers no MMS messages and they will be blocked and do not come even to the top as an option on your phone. Your service provider will need to reactivate your phone with this provision. The Blackberry rep figured this out from my PIN thereafter, then I had to remind the representative of AT & T and to explain this, and yes he did not know what I was talking about but on the third try he managed successfully to fix.

  • I can't send/receive pictures or messages from non-Apple device group

I was never able to send photos to non-Apple devices. I can not send or receive group messages that include non-Apple devices. This has happened for years on every iPhone I've ever had. I tried all the suggestions on this site. Any ideas?

Contact your operator. SMS/MMS is a function of the carrier, which is what you use when sending non - iOS devices. You must have a texting plan and one that includes the MMS to send pictures.

  • Unable to send an email with the BlackBerry Simulator

I am trying to set up the BlackBerry Simulator so it can send and receive e-mails from my e-mail server (hosted). While I followed the recommendations in the various articles on how to use the ESS or configure MDS, I can't always send electronic messages of the Simulator.

E-mail messages are retrieved successfully by the Simulator, however.

I tried to use both the ESS as well as the various email configuration options under [Email] in the config rimpublic.property MDS file. Both produce the same error message (pasted below).

I checked several times that the settings for SMTP and POP are properly typed. Interestingly, the following stack trace indicates failure of the SMTP connection on port 25, but this isn't the port number that I entered.

I wonder if the simulation of e-mail is unable to work with ports other than 25 SMTP?

I mainly use the ESS and MDS came it with the JDE 4.3 and 4.3 OS simulator 8330, although the 4.6 OS 9000 Simulator produces the same result.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a solution to this. It seems that port 25 is hardcoded in the SSE code and any value is entered in the form, it is port 25 is used.

My guess is that probably the only way out it is either:

    (a) find an email provider that uses port 25. Unfortunately gmail and none of the other e-mail providers I use actually use port 25, or

    (b) to set up your own mail server that uses port 25.
