    SELECT SESSIONTIMEZONE, CURRENT_DATE FROM DUAL;

I want to add a new event to the calendar, but when I do gets set to a time zone from the casablanca time which means GMT, I want to solve it the current time zone of users.  What is happening now is that if the user manually changes the time zone then the start time of the event changes too.

  • SPA112 - cannot set the time

    Hello

For some reason, I have not been able to set the time on my SPA112. When you try to use the "Time zone" section, whether on the manual or automatic time server, it does not work. For the manual time server, I tried us.pool.ntp.org, ca.pool.ntp.org, pool.ntp.org. No matter what time zone I chose, it does not affect the time (I'm IS btw).

Even if I enter the time in the 'Operating instructions' section, he quickly returns to the wrong time after a few seconds. It won't last. For some reason any time coming back to 4 hours in advance.

What is causing this and how can I fix it?

    Thank you

Yes, I remember. I was affected by it a few years ago, but I forgot that we have decided to use the NTP server.

Yes, Payton firmware devices have a very creative approach to the time settings. It seems that the authors of the firmware do not know the hour UTC or local time.

During the boot time is taken as-is to the RTC chip. Configuration file are analyzed, time is considered local and it is recalculated in universal time to help offset user time zone defined in the configuration.

Well, I'm not sure with the exact logic, but remember that it is broken. It is difficult to set the time manually (and survive restart with good time still together) unless the time zone UTC and no daylightsaving is configured.

Problem starting even with NTP enabled, but the incorrect time introduced by boot become corrected by NTP, so it does not so much.

As you use NTP, forgotten manual settings, allows you to debug the NTP.

The best NTP server for the purpose of debugging is closest to NTP. I don't have any information to your topology. Have your ISP a NTP server ready for you? Even your local router (the router to connect your network to the upstream) can run the NTP server.

Most "NTP does not ' questions are associated network. As a firewall, NAT conflicts or...

  • How to set the time zone in T61

Hi, I am in Arizona and DST does not apply here. This week, my T61 is one hour later than my local time.

When I clicked on the bottom right of my screen time button, up poped "change date and time.

    1. If I set my computer an hour later so to conform to our local time, it can work only in the desk clock. All my emails are one hour earlier. for example, I sent an email just a minute ago, Gmail indicates e-mail is 1 hour ago.

    2. If I choose "change time zone", the button is not answered at all. I don't see a range of zones.

How can I fix? Thank you.

Thank you. But where can I find automatic winter and summer time?

  • Set the time zone for the device?

I'm not familiar with centOS. How can I see time zone?  Whenever I try to do it from the blue screen, it just bounces me.

    Hi Bradl100,

Same problem for me. Seems the classic CentOS operating works:

-find your timezone in zoneinfo (for example: / usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Chicago or/usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Paris)

-remove the old configuration: mv/etc/localtime /etc/localtime.bak

    -configure your time zone: ln-s/usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Chicago/etc/localtime

    It will be useful.

  • Cannot set the time on the lock screen in iOS 10

    I guess that's a stupid question, but that's.

I've just updated to iOS 10 days previously.

Previously, I had my iPhone value never expire and go to the lock screen. I prefer to leave the phone on until I'm ready to turn it off.

After the iOS upgrade, the screen starts to weaken after a minute or two and if I don't hit the button or other it turns itself off.

So I have to waste time, it opens by pressing the button Home, inputing my 4 digit code and have spent the necessary iCloud screen - I don't do iCloud.

Looks like that I used to go into the settings > passcode lock > and there was a framework for '' never. '' Placing it now longer available is 4 hours, which is what I now have it together, but it is still greys out and hangs and then after about 1 minute.

Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

The setting has been moved to iOS 10. He is now in settings/display and brightness.

  • Setting the time

I have 4250 IDS with current signature. I use IDS - MC to configure the IDS. I want to set the time and date, but I don't see any option in IDS - MC to set the hour. How do I set time and date for IDS using ID - MC for the Eastern time zone?

    Altaf

I don't think that the MC has a zone configuration window. If you log in the sensor CLI (admin), you can set the time zone on the sensor. Here is an example of eastern standard configuration and daylightsavings time

Note 1: you can take the default values for most of the guides messages

Note 2: you will be asked to reboot the sensor for the offsets of time comes into force

  • Setting of time zones for those imported for integration AD

We are setting up integration of ads for VSM9 to import customers and agents.  We hit a roadblock with the time zones.  People are imported based on their membership in a group AD.  Members within each group can be of several regions with different time zones.  Therefore, it is not practical set the timezone in the model of the person.  Within resource maps, there is a timezone field, but I don't see any reference to the time zone in the AD resource that could be associated with the time zone field.  He also doesn't seem to be an option to create a resolution rule as you would for an organization or a location.  We have rules of resolution in place for the Organization and the location, the time zone which is getting applied to the person is not based on the Organization, but instead, it is to be set to 'undefined', which is the option selected in the model of the person.

The idea has already crossed your mind that I could create a recurring SQL task that runs a query to update with terms such as "If the time zone is set to undefined, then set the time zone to match the organization."  However, I prefer not to do this way and use the system as it was designed, and using the SQL task would mean that those imported would have a time zone is not defined until the SQL job runs.  Someone at - it suggestions on how I can get around this by using standard parameters within the system?

    Untitled.png

    Hello

Few things currently comes in my mind:

    * If it is possible to store the zone information in AD (to use any unused property or extend the schema with a custom). You can then map this property in your integration with field tz people rule. The worst thing - you need to manage updates (for example, script) of your users AD setting the values of the source (maybe the one you use for synchronization of organization vsm) tz.

    * You can create the SQL update for the AR_CLIENT_COMPANY table trigger to replicate the TIME_ZONE_REF value for all users in the current organization.

I always have the feeling that it is possible to manage that with vsm rules of integration, but we should go deeper into your infrastructure, for example maybe you can update vsm people of the source you use for organizations.

  • Cannot set the manual time zone on ipad

IOS is updated. I'm try cnange my time zone manually. Whenever I select a city in new Madrid for example, the time zone remains as Sydney. I am unable to change it. Auto zone has been disabled because it acknowledges that Sydney. Looked far from a solution, but nobody else seems to have this problem.

I think that 'set automatically' refers to the time, not the time zone. Apple devices are quite picky about having the correct time zone for the location, then you will not be able to change it.

  • Set the time for submisson of shape based on time zones?

When a form is subimitted Eloqua assigns the Eloqua notifications server time (-5GMT) as a message of time. It's really annoying especially for messages of support, where the presentation time is critical for service-level agreements.

Question: Is it possible to set the time of post with Java Script and if, how?

The time of the default message cannot be adjusted, it will show always the time that the server received the presentation, in the zone servers (which is to the East).

However, the use of javascript, you can have a hidden field on your form and apply a timestamp, using the local time of filers. With more complex javascript, you might apply a time stamp using the time zone of your choice.

  • Setting the time and time zone?

Hello, I have a problem, try to change my time to standard time. When I change the time and time zone, they are locked. It won't let me uncheck to set the time manually. The time zone is set to Apple Americas / U.S. (site time.apple.com)

IM El Capitan OS running on a Macbook Pro late 2011.

    Thank you, James.

This isn't a time zone. It's the time protocol Server network that sets the time automatically. He is indifferent to the zone that can be set manually or by location.

You need unlock the prefpane by clicking on the padlock and authentication. Then, you can adjust the settings.

  • U410 - cannot connect after Windows Update after restore factory when the time zone is not UTC-8.

    Steps to reproduce the error:

1 use OneKey recovery to restore the initial factory settings.

    2. on the initial setup of Windows screen, select a time zone to UTC - 8, UTC (London)

    3. connect to Windows, open the Windows Update control panel and click on "Install updates"

4 restart the computer to complete the update.

    5. on the login screen, try to connect or shutdown the computer.

    Result:

Computer is blocked with the only desktop wallpaper and mouse pointer visible. Does not meet all the keys. By pressing the power button sleep machine. Press again on he wakes the machine in the blocked State.

I have reproduced this problem 3 times for initial help restore every time.

    Wordaround:

Before starting the factory restore processes, set the clock of system by 24 hours. After the end of the restoration of the factory, set the system clock to the correct time.

Otherwise, wait 24 hours between a factory reset and try to install the Windows updates.

    Analysis:

This problem is caused because of the way that Windows stores time. It assumes that the system clock is set to local time rather than UTC. When you use the OneKey recovery system he doesn't know what time zone of the system clock is set on, and so it assumes that it is set to UTC - 8. If it is in fact the UTC value, OneKey Recovery creates files with a time stamp of 8 hours in the future. This causes the Windows Update to fail.

One step that I forgot to mention, that may be important:

After the installation of the plant, during the initial configuration screens, I updated the time zone GMT London.

Since the OneKey recovery uses GMT - 8, this can cause some files to have a timestamp of 8 hours in the future. Maybe if I waited 8 hours before the update of this problem would not occur. I'll test this by setting the clock system for 1 week in the past, make reset factory and then it retroactively to the correct date before the update.

EDIT: Test successfully. This workaround works.
