Cannot start computer laptop

Hello
I have an Acer Espire E40 and I recently installed a kind of "PC Optimizer", he worked in the first, removal of unnecessary files. However, I then noticed deletion of system files. I killed the process and then restarted my laptop. When I turn it on, the Acer logo appears with "start auto repair. He proceeds to diagnose my PC and I am presented with the fact that windows may not start and I need to restore the operating system. So I click on restore but nothing happens, the Acer logo appears again, but nothing happens, its been like this for 10 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
Ethan.

If you press Alt + F10 at startup you're able to enter Acer erecovery?

If so, you probably have a restore or refresh options, try this.

My hard drive seems to be corrupted, and now my laptop does not start.

Of course, the normal solution is to use the HP recovery disk, but my laptop can't even attempt to boot from my DVD drive (external). Market, I get a message in the lower left corner, saying "Press ESC for Boot Menu". At this point, if I press the ESC key all that get's the message replaced by 'ESC. '... Pause for Startup' - and no other update screen - never (well, at least 10 minutes). If, while in the stadium "Press ESC for Boot Menu", I press F2, the message is replaced by "F2"... Check startup' but then no progress is made.

So now I'm at a loss to know what to do next. Please can someone help?

    Regards Tony.

    I solved the problem by:

    1. visit this page: http://hp.com/go/techcenter/pcdiags and using the last link to download ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75001-75500/sp75230.exe which puts the s/w of recovery BIOS on a USB

2 turn on/off my laptop while now the key Windows + B

3 wait a long time for my PC boot from the English channel and set its BIOS

Once this is done, everything was OK again.

Laptop was working fine when I went to bed, got up the next morning, you press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and computer is stuck on the welcome.  It's been that way.  I can only boot into Safe Mode - Networking.  Ironically, the problem started after Symantec performed an update on March 22, 2012.  Any suggestions

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and run a full scan of the system.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

    -

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

    -

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

    Hello

Here is the complete troubleshooting tool. Make sure to run the system restart, then SFC/scannow tool
and chkdsk /f /r (CheckDisk) from the command to a startup disk.

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel
-Double click - Driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - device Manager - map - graph
then right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
is CTRL + ALT + DEL and the processes tab find EXPLORER.exe and END PROCESS on it.
then on the tab Applications - lower right - new task - the type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is
accessible by tapping F8 as you start several times.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all hotfix is usually a hit or miss

  • Cannot start the laptop

Hi, I currently have a serious problem with my Pavilion g4 laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Last night after I finish using my laptop, I closed the lid as I normally do and we both fell asleep.

But this morning when I opened it again, instead of start normally, I got this error: Oxc00000e9 and I was unable to start Windows. I had not any attached USB devices so I'm afraid it might be a problem with the hard drive.

I tried in Safe Mode, but after loading of the files it has stopped working and I was given a Startup Repair option.

After that the laptop has been blocked for a few minutes in a gray with slider Windows screen until the repair window appears. He work and asked me to reboot to see if it worked or not.

He took a little everything restart, the Windows loading icon came but then instead of booting the system I was sent again to a screen that looks like the Startup Repair, with the cursor above but nothing else.

He was blocked for half an hour on this screen, then this window will appear:

    Windows Script Host
    Script: X:/Rita-tool/Start.vbs
    Line: 93
    Tank: 14
Error: The system cannot find the specified file.
    Code: 80070002
    Source: (null)

    Then I got another window:
    HP restore
    Create file Fail

    A click on OK

    Got another window:
    HP Recovery Manager
    Contact HP customer care
Recovery not taken in charge to the title of the current configuration, please turn on the option for the Intel Smart Response Technology, and try again.

After that the laptop turns itself off.

I'm out of warranty of two months, but would like to know if there is anything I can try before you take it to a technician.

    Help, please!

    Thank you
