I tell myself that I have to enter my serial code, but I do not know how to proceed. My 2009 CS4 is an upgrade of my 2004 origin. So my questions are:

  As you guessed it yourself, you will need to reinstall correctly. Installation of some old product you are talking about is not required, only one installation of CS4 and then enter the serial numbers. the bad news is however, that CS4 itself is perhaps not compatible with os x 10.8.2/.3, expect so all sorts of problems...
