Cannot start Vista somehow without BSOD, including Mode without fail & last known--IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I don't know exactly what the cause of the problem, but I have a feeling that it is a driver problem. I don't know why the problem started, I've had a laptop where the monitor came out on this subject so I photographed the hard to VMware, I never started an operating system that has not been installed in native mode via vmware before so I thought there may be errors.

The first time it booted up it starts normally, the Windows Activation came, although I do not know why I have reactivated, and he says that it needs to restart. I restarted and it said it was installing 10 updates - after the updates done, it restarted and then any startup mode, I choose to get exactly the same problem blue screen of death.

I searched for hours a reply - all, I access the Startup Repair tool command prompt. I think it's a driver issue, but I don't know how to uninstall the drivers from the command prompt.

It is vital that I have fix without restoring the system or in a Format that I need all programs intact with their original settings. I probably just need to uninstall all the drivers and install them again.

Hello

Best to check also with VMware Support and forums.

----------------------------------------------------------

Drivers could be at fault, however the problems of disk or security/antivirus/antispyware products are
just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.
The video driver or something affecting it would be questionable.

Make sure that BIOS driver low-level chipset and drivers are all updated by checking manually
system manufacturer and device manufacturers sites.

-----------------------------------

BCCode: 0a 0x0000000A

Cause

This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.

The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

Solve the problem

If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.

To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
  3. In the WindowsAdvanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool

  1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
  2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
  3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
  4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
  5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
  6. For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.

Comments

Before upgrading to a new version of Windows, remove all third-party device drivers and system services and disable any antivirus. Contact software manufacturers for updates of these third-party tools.

If there is any RAID drivers they are very suspicious and/or drivers problems are very real prospects.
Other possibilities are video and other drivers. Refer to the section of driver in my credits
methods of troubleshooting blue screen below. BIOS, drivers low level chipset, memory and
antispyway/antivirus/security programs can also cause this. Check the resolution of problems and when
you get the pilot section refer to generic methods in next message and return to
the troubleshooter if necessary.

BCCode: D1 0x000000D1

Cause

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

  • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
  • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
  • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

A lot of problems with USB drivers, I found an answer in the forums here, who directed me to the site to download the appropriate drivers for my chipset from Intel.  Download seemed to go OK; When asked "reboot now?" I selected Yes.  In about 30 seconds, I had a window (similar to the command prompt) asking if I wanted to start the computer in the last good known?  He also had options to start in Safe Mode, Safe Mode with networking, and Safe Mode with command prompt.  I first tried to start normally, but without success.  I then tried the other option (several times), none were successful.  I turned off the computer using the power button and then it starts again, but nothing helped.  The four options have failed once again.  The main thing is I'm unable to get the computer started in any Mode, so that I might be able to fix the problem.  I'm afraid I might have to reinstall Windows, once again.  The computer is running Windows XP Home Edition, SP 3.  I use my wife's cell phone to access the forums.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    WOLLAM

Well, if you some drivers day and now have a problem in your Startup Options menu, you must first choose the option best suited for these kinds of my system does not start after an update types of problems:

    Last good known Configuration

Last good known Configuration is the configuration XP saved the last time that Windows starts successfully and choosing that option can allow you to start long enough to undo (roll back) what that either got your first distressed system.

If the system starts with the last known good Configuration, uninstall (restore) the update of the afflicted driver and get the right drivers for your system.

If you still can't boot from your Startup Options menu, choose the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

Then you can see a Blue Screen of Death with information that will help solve your problem.

Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:

  • Cannot start the Toshiba Satellite A300 in normal mode or safe mode.

Original title: Normal and safe mode start two taped please wait

Hi my problems started last night when I tried to open my laptop (Toshiba Satellite A300 Windows Vista)

In normal mode starts near the top of the screen loads fine up please wait...
I left on until this morning that then the screen turned black and nothing was clickable.
I can't boot mode safe either, as it happens the same thing.
Sometimes when I try and start it tells me that the C drive has something wrong with it and what are the fixing.
A warning saying that this file is corrupted and unreadable left me with a scintillating display that fluctuated between black and the background of vista.
I managed to log on once while my office quickly froze and I had to close my laptop.

Startup Repair cannot detect all problems. I restore Windows to an earlier date with the system restore but that did nothing to help and when I tried to restore the system to an earlier date of even the sign of a catastrophic failure rises.

I'm really ideas outside the restoration of factory settings.
    Someone please help.
    Thank you

    Hello

Have you tried another recovery option?

I suggest you to press the F8 key as the computer starts up to the top and check the option in the advanced boot menu.

Advanced, including safe mode startup options

If you are able to open the advanced boot menu then you can execute the menu command prompt and type the command and check.

    Type CHKDSK c:/r or

    Type CHKDSK c:/f

Important: even if running chkdsk on the drive if any bad sectors are found, chkdsk attempts to repair this sector and if all data on this sector it could get lost.

If you are not able to perform the steps then you may need to get the Vista installation DVD. You can contact the manufacturer for more details.
  • My 8 victory... infected with the virus cannot start in safe mode...

recently, my computer of windows 8 has a virus... (miss click an ad pop up and it's on the computer)

I already got Malewarebytes Anti Maleware and installed AVG, but this virus that bypassed and infected my computer. I tried the standard F8 during startup to go into safe mode and run my anti virus scanners, but apparently it does not work in windows 8. Some say SHIFT F8, that does not work either. Also any other method of setting up safe menu starting boot or mode does not work as it should connect on the desktop to go threw the settings and activate it for the next boot upward. This does not work for me since the virus I have apprently made my fall display driver, after I get my user password to start the desktop computer, so I don't see anything but the pointer of the mouse, everything is black. Y at - it another way to start in safe mode or trigger a recovery system or restore without actually being on the desktop?

    Why windows might change?

I already ordered a recovery disk as that seemed to be my only option. But the works of windows 8 way I will NEVER buy a computer with it again. Cannot start in safe mode and can't do the simplest task without being a great test. It's crazy. I thought that windows 8 was supposed to be simple and easy to use!

Please reset your PC. The procedure is given in the link below:

If this does not help, recovery of the system to the factory settings. Consult the following document:

    Hi deliubogdan

Try to remove the extension DataMngr (Datamngr.dll)

Do a check with some malware malware, analysis of programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.
