Cannot start Windows 7 after the update of the system

I don't speak of Windows 7 RTM, I know is RC forum but I downloaded the RC of microsoft's official website and I can't install it, it reached the "end of installation"(ou quelque chose comme ça) phase and blue screen of death appears, saying "memory dump" and other things. ". That's why I downloaded RTM from a torrent site, I installed it, everything was fine, the aero was not on so I that I should update the video drivers and then I downloaded all the updates possible (via the control panel), then I restarted the pc and now I am not able to load windows , it's blue screen of death! Notice that I can run windows 7 mode safe mode, but when I try to start it in normal mode the blue screen appears. BTW, I have windows xp installed on my pc as well. So, here is my setup:

AMD 7750 dual-core 2, 7GHz
4 GB of RAM, 800 Mhz, but the system says 3.25 alone can be used
ATI 4730 512 MB, btw I have integrated graphics card (ati hd3200, I think), don't know if it's important but...

Here is the information about the error:

  • Cannot start Windows 7 after the conversion of the physical machine

    Hello

I converted my windows 7 64 bit running physical machine to the virtual machine using converter 5.0. I am running VMWare Workstation 8.0. My physical machine hid the 100 MB boot partition and 90 GB main partition. During the conversion, I don't have an option to select a hidden partition, nor did I want in my virtual machine. Conversion failed with the following message (planned):

Unable to find the system volume, reconfiguration is not possible.

Then, I started the virtual machine using the Windows DVD and selected the option "repair". Once I arrived, I used diskpart to make my active primary partition and then followed the steps in this KB http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1037507 to fix everything including BCD. Once this was done, I used converted to reconfigure the virtual computer, and this time he succeeded. Everything was good and as expected up to that point. Now, when I start the VM, I get by BIOS init and then I get a black screen - no messages at all and he vm it is here without doing anything. I tried to fix it again and everything seems good (checked all the information using diskpart, bootrec and bcdedit so that automated repair) - everything seems to be in order, but the black screen is all I see when I try to start.

Any help to guide me to this point is very popular figure.

    Thank you

  • Cannot start windows more after Microsoft Update

I have XP.  Once Microsoft installed a auto update July 16, I could no longer open Windows normally.  What did do? That's happened?  How can I return to my computer if can't open?  It seems that the computer doesn't send any signal to the video monitor so I can't enter all orders. Finally, I learned that I can open in Mode safe mode but not in normal mode... But I need a normal mode to access everything.

Of "automatic update" are what kind you referring?  As you have acknowledged, XP should not be getting updates.  I also asked if you have an installation disc, and you did not.

    Hello

First we recommend that you search the .ics files confirm the windows calendar old files are present on the hard drive.

Windows Vista has an option to cancel the system restore. To do this, follow these steps.
    1. open the system restore by clicking the Start button, all programs, accessories, clicking System Tools, and then click System Restore.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. click on undo system restore and then click Next.
    3. proceed to review your choices and then click Finish.

Your computer will restart. When you are finished, you will see a confirmation that the cancellation is complete.

    I hope this helps.

  • Cannot start Windows Vista after you download updates

Original title: the last time I got a windows vista download it did.not end now if I turn off my computer it won, t wiyhout restart using a rescue disk also can, t open all files except when I connect

Last time I had a windows down load it didn, t finished and my computer locked up had to use a rescue disk to start

    Hiartco1993,

    1. do you know what download you tried?

    2. do you receive error messages or error codes?

3 have you tried booting in safe mode?

You can first try to start in safe mode and try a system restore and check if it helps.

    Step 1:

You can try to start in safe mode.

Check out the link for more information on starting your computer in SafeMode below:

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

You can try restoring the system to safe mode.

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

  • Error: "unable to start Windows XP" after recent updates

Hello, I have 2 computers with Windows XP with SP2 and automatic updates. After the updates (17 June), two computers refuse to start. • Compaq Presario SR5130NX: Cannot start Windows Vista after failure - HELP!

Hello! My building has undergone a complete failure so 4 days ago I used it. Power resumed 3 hours later, but I was not able to log on since.

Normally, I turn on my PC, and about 30 seconds later, a window pops up asking you my password. After entering it, the PC come by my office. Now, when I turn on the PC, it brings me to a blue screen with a mouse cursor in the Center (which I can move), but there is nothing to click on.

When I press F8 during the boot process and choose an option from the window "Advanced Boot Options", I still can't start my computer normally.

Here's the "Advanced Boot Options" I tried, after consultation with my brother a little more PC-savvy:

1 repair your computer - after I see my black screen that is usual with the words "Microsoft Corporation" under the green bars that scroll from left to right for about 15 seconds, a blue screen appears with the mouse pointer in the Center (which I can move), but there is nothing to click on.

2 mode safe - while the PC display several files on start up and down, it stops on "Loaded: \windows\system32\drivers\disk.sys" for about 20 seconds, then proceeds to a black screen with the words "Safe Mode" in the 4 corners and the mouse cursor at the Center (which I can move), but there is nothing to click on.

3 safe mode with network - see "Safe Mode" above.

4 safe mode with command prompt - see 'Safe Mode' above.

5 last known good Configuration (Advanced) - see "repair your computer" above.

6 start Windows normally - see "Repair your computer" above.

7 debug mode - see "Repair your computer" above.

I downloaded a DVD recovery based on Linux in knopper.net, allowing me to access important files, which I copied from the desktop to an external hard drive (4.1 GB iso file).

PC Windows XP of my brother has a recovery disk, but my Windows Vista PC did not come with one. I've seen a few paid versions, but looked resources due to cool weather and free shipping.

I can't tell if I have the 23-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows Vista, so I downloaded both versions of an open source sourceforge.NET startup repair, which I burned on 2 DVDs. After you run the startup repair program using two DVD, the diagnostic results have been uploaded online at ubuntu.com for review and technical analysis. Here are the links:

The last report ended with the words "start managed to fix...".  You can now restart your computer. "But I always encounter a blank screen (black or blue) when I try to log on to my PC.

Here are my details of PC, if it is useful:

    Hello

Since you already have KNOPPIX I try Gparted and use it to 'clean up' the score because it will stop in an impure State.

    NTFS

    GParted will try.

Also, I would consider the old problem with fat systems, floppy disks etc. which sometimes a copy of sys files from a floppy disk to a hard drive has reactivated a bootable system.

So, if system files have been damaged, then replace them since a Setup disk.  Because he goes to options, what kind of work.

  • Cannot install Windows XP after the purchase of disk

I put the disk for Windows xp, but cannot be installed

You should really start a new thread on this question of yours.  I'll send a message to the moderator to separate this question from this old thread and create a new one for you.

In any case, if you have installed vista, xp will not be able to install automatically. It's because you try to downgrade your computer.

However, if the computer already had xp on the computer, and then you could upgrade to vista automatically.

You'd have to do is to format the hard disk in the first place, until xp can be reinstalled.

But there may be another problem for you at this time.

You see, if you have a computer that has been designed to use vista then xp is maybe not able to work on this computer.   You will have to go place of origin of the computer and see if your machine has hardware drivers that can be used by xp.  In others, you should check if there are drivers xp for your computer model.

If this is not the case, then it means that your computer cannot start xp, even if you reformat the hard drive and install a new copy of xp on it.

What is the brand and model of your computer?

I got the Lenovo G 560 0679 (2.54 Ghz, 4 GB Ram, DVD, Win 7 64 bit) * do not know the full product code * and created recovery disks. During the process, the system wanted 3 disks. After the second disc, the recovery disks have already been created. It was a little suspect. I tried the recovery disks. Then I have to restart the system. If I start it says that windows could not be started due to a change in hardware or software.

I will go into an installation disc that has not been included in the box.

Well below I got the offer to choose between

    Start windows normally

    use the last working configuration

    saving mode

    Save the network mode

    Save the mode prompt

I also tried to install a Win 7 Home 64 bit edition on the main partition. Subsequently, I installed onekey recovery and tried to restore with the partition of lenovo. It did not work either.

    Can someone help me?
