Cannot start Windows 7. Logonui.exe error

I was struck by the Netsky virus last night and after cleaning my system, I came across the following (approximate) error message you try to start Windows 7 normally:

"Logonui.exe - application could not start properly.  #0000005 memory could not be read. "My only option is OK, which leaves me with a gray white screen and the pointer... forever!

I am able to boot into safe mode (thank God) with networking, so at least I can get my files transferred out of the C: drive, but I would avoid to rebuild the drive if I can.

Anyone know how I can a) repair or b) to replace the version of Windows 7 to logonui.exe?  I could not find the file on my Win7 installation DVD (there is a copy in C:\Windows, but probably this copy is now corrupted).

I tried all the fixes I found online so far, nothing works. Thank you 1 million to someone who can help.  Contact me here or to the * address email is removed from the privacy *.

Best,
DwC

  • Services cannot start Windows do not (MMC errors)

    I'm new to Microsoft Answers.

I'm having a strange problem. Yesterday when I turned on my computer in the morning, I realized that Firefox, Windows Media Player, Avast, security Windows, Windows Search, Windows Update Center and possibly more programs or services would not run or run correctly.  I can't imagine what I did which would lead to this problem.  I tried a system restore, but that does not solve the problem.  I scanned with 4 different antivirus (with installed both 1) applications and nothing was found.  The problem seems to be with Windows Services won't start do not.  There are 5 services in the Microsoft Management Console is configured to start automatically, and possibly others built in the manual which do not start. Attempt to start manually generates them an error and that the problem is not resolved.  Here are some of the errors I receive:

Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process.

Error 1053: The service did not demand launch or timely control.

the service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.

Error 1297: A privilege that the service needs to function properly does not exist in the service account configuration. You can use the GPMC Microsoft (MMC) Services (services.msc) snap and snap MMC local security (secpol.msc) settings to display the configuration of the service and set up the account.

I tried a solution online that suggested the layout "NT AUTHORITY\LocalService" under "this account:" field in the dialog box properties of the service of a donor, but that does not work either. My system is also significantly more sluggish, with the CPU at a constant 100% and I can't install software (for example, Google chrome would not install but Opera would be.)  The installation wizard is not just open for Chrome). Open the Microsoft Management Console runs also on global blocks (it is not just the MMC that does not).

Any help would be appreciated. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

Service permissions seems to be different from XP in Vista.  In XP load you a security template and then adjust through which access permissions.

    Hello

1 how long have you been faced with this problem?
    2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?
    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?
    4. who help and support files are you referring to?
    5. what exactly happens when you try to open it? You get the error message?

cssauth.exe is related to the Client Security Solution.

Step 1: Try disabling startup cssauth.exe in the configuration of the system.

    Here's how:

    1. click on start > run.
    2. type msconfig and press ENTER.
    3. click on the Startup tab.
4 locate cssauth.exe, and clear the check box for this.
5 restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: If you still get the same error at startup then perform the clean boot on the computer.

From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

    Reference:

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click on start and then click Run.
    2. type msconfig and click OK.

The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    3. click on the tab general, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
    4. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

I would also ask you to contact the manufacturer of the computer because the problem is with the client security software that is provided by them.

  • Error 244: The DataFinder cannot start due to an internal error.

I have LabVIEW 2010 and, during Windows startup, this error message appears:

"The DataFinder cannot start due to an internal error.

(244): Please wait until the National Instruments PSP Service is running and try to start the DataFinder or restart your computer. »

I got this pop error during the past year it's a recurring thing. He began to show a few months after installing the LabVIEW program on my computer, so I'm not sure on what caused this message still appears. I find that it causes also a delay in the start of my computer - my other startup applications starting to show only when I close the error window. Help, please! Thank you.

    Hi xcontradictorx,

Looks like National Instruments PSP server locator cannot be started. Could go you to the control panel > administrator tools > Services and locate the server National Instruments PSP Locator? Double-click it and make sure that the service is started. If this is the case, stop and start again (just by pressing the stop and start buttons). If this is not the case, run it, and then go in the Recovery tab and choose restart the Service as long as the action of first, second and more about chess.

If after changing the settings for the PSP the issue to continue service I think that for some reason any PSP service will just be started late for some reason any. Could you do a quick real test: disable the DataFinder in msconfig, reboot, then run the C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\DataFinderDesktop\bin DataFinder.exe. This should place the MyDataFinder app in your taskbar (that looks like a yellow gear).

If this is successful, then we will have to change the order of startup services such as the DataFinder begins just after the service of the PSP.

    Try the following:

    (1) locate the DataFinder entry from the registry. Located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    (2) remove the entry DataFinder
    (3) add a shortcut to DataFinder.exe in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Menu\Programs\Startup
    (4) restart

This should make all the standard Windows startup (as from services, etc.) and then launch the DataFinder.

One question: do you use the DataFinder at all? Either with DIAdem or database search tool? If this isn't the case, you can try to remove it from the startup items. Simply go to start > run... and type "msconfig". Click the Startup tab, look for DataFinder and deselect. Click on apply. That will probably get rid of the error message.

  • Satellite A660-158 - cannot start Windows

    Toshiba Satellite A660-158

I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite A660-158. It has served me less than a week. I think it's the broken hard drive.

    My problem:
Once I start the computer, it started and has worked for a while, but suddenly, there was an error reading that I didn't have the time. Computer has been restarted. And does not load... Until the boot mode does not reach. But the initial test (with logo) succeeded. Takes a long time and finally gives an error:
    -----
Cannot start Windows. Maybe it was because of the recent small difference is the hardware or software configuration. To fix this error:
    1. Insert your Windows installation disc, restart the computer (the complete transmission wasn't)
    2. choose the language settings, and then click Next.
    3. Select "repair your computer".
If this disk is missing, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer (he turned and said to wear to the DEPOT, but I do not have this feature).

    Status: 0xc000000e

Details: Unable to start menu, since the required device is inaccessible.

    Hey,.

And why do you think the hard drive is faulty?
Have you ever tried the repair your computer option? Usually with this option you can restore factory in a few minutes.

Also if you have the Toshiba recovery disc you can also restore the factory of this disc. Just boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen. You need to do a few clicks only, installation with all the drivers and tools happen automatically.

If you have any other questions, please let us know! :)

  • Satellite L40 - cannot start Windows

    Hello

hope you can help, my computer Toshibal L40 laptop on commissioning began by displaying the following error message:

    * "Cannot start Windows. a recent change in the software hardware might be causing... » *

    It offers the possibility of:
    "* Launch Startup Repair option" * "

I chose this. WIndows seems to load up, but then I get the following error message:

Installed program cannot start. Click OK to turn off the computer *.

I lost the recovery disk, but attempted to load the recovery console by using a windows XP disk, but it gave me error message more. Advice would be very welcome.

For the installation of Vista you don't need SATA driver but for Windows XP Home edition you need. Is no problem at all.

The question is what you want to do now? If you want to use Vista just use recovery media and you will have factory again.
    No problem at all.

Suddenly, I get the following message appears when you try to start Windows Journal on my Tablet PC:

"Windows Journal cannot start. There was an error initializing inking components.  If this problem persists... »

In addition, input panel Tablet PC version 1.7.2600.5512 brings is more a place to write

After extensive Google/Binging I finally jumped on my solution. I have Windows 7 Ultimate and Office Professional 2010. I tried different solutions online without success:

    • Reset
    • Fix Office 2010 (no, I didn't uninstall and reinstall)
    • SFC/scannow (no problem found)
    • The "delete and then add Tablet PC components" in Control Panel programs and features/turn on Windows features
    • Close all browsers (without success)

Then it dawned on me that OneNote is a design feature. I figured that this was linked to components of Tablet PC inking, as my research has shown people also had problems with Windows Journal. I also had problems with Windows Journal, stating the issue of inking of the components. In OneNote, I went to the drawing Ribbon and tried to shoot when a popup said that I didn't have the Tablet PC features installed (even if I checked that). and offered to install it (Yes!). Curiously, he asked for the DVD for FrontPage 2003, I also installed. Who could guess, but it was my solution. I hope this helps someone.

  • Cannot start Windows, Windows Setup does not detect the hard disk, Bootmgr is misiing

I have a few problems on my laptop [Acer 3810 t]

    -The first problem
My mobile give me screen "cannot start windows' who have 2 choices: run the Startup Repair tool and boot normally. I chose to fix it, but nothing happens and stuck "starting windows" and gives unmountable boot volume 'blue screen '. the Dungeon of blues screen appear (for laptop is a not restart). So I turned off my phone and turn it back on it. the "could not start" screen again and I chose to start normally. but the result is negative. My portable Dungeon cannot start windows. Because of that I am using the advanced boot option and choose all the boot type such asit cannot load the safemode, last configuration etc, but the result is the same, you cannot start windows. in safe mode, its stuck in loading fileinfo.sys. I do not give up to try again with the advanced boot option. until I have a bad situation. My laptop can only 1 file in safe mode and blues screen do not appear again (my laptop only return at the beginning of start or restart)

    -The second problem
because it cant solved, I want to reinstall my laptop. My OS is Vista 32 bit (pre-installed). I want to install the new operating system, windows 7. I use Dsik Flash bootable USB to install Windows 7. But in the BIOS, it is detected as a USB HDD. So I set my BIOS to load USB HDD to the first order. the installation can be done, but only until the "start Setup" screen and its deadlock. I have it wait up to an hour, but nothing happens. So I'm going to BIOS, change SATA mode to IDE mode AHCI. Then load the USB and go "installation program start screen. but the new problem is the installation of window does not detect my hard drive. So I can not choose the place to install the operating system. I have to load the driver, but I did not. Again to load the configuration to AHCI and IDE, until I get my HDD can detected in IDE mode. So I think I can move easily, I choose custom installation and choose the hard drive to install the operating system. But unfortunately, at the beginning of the process, after choosing the OS, the Installer gives error if installation location the installation failed. (I forgot the error message)

    -The third problem
So far, I can't spend 'startup begins' as well in mode IDE and AHCI. Also bootmgr in my hard disk is missing, so I can't go to move the startup repair or the startup option in my HDD as before

What is the error code that you got with blue screen?

I think that there is a problem with your drive HARD check that by contacting acer...

    No, it is not possible!
If you should start up using recovery disc then the recovery process would be started and the whole HARD disk may be formatted!

You can try to start by using a WinPE
