  • iTunes does not recognize my iPhone on my HP Pavilion Windows 10 5s, so cannot sync the phone, which has the latest operating system running

iTunes does not recognize my iPhone on my HP Pavilion Windows 10 5s, so cannot sync the phone running. I downloaded the latest OS for the phone and the latest version of iTunes on my PC and have tried all USB ports several times. I also reinstalled drivers USB to the PC.  The phone is recognized on the computer of a friend under Win 7. All shows when I plug it on mine is a page showing the 'Apple iPhone' folder display of storage internal (2.18 GB free of 14.7 GB). Troubleshooting in devices and printers, where the phone displays as "Not specified Apple iPhone" generates a message saying that "Apple iPhone is an older USB device and may not work with USB 3.0 and plug it into a USB 2.0 port." But when I use USB 2.0 (I tried several times using each of the three USB ports on my PC), troubleshooting the error message says "Apple iPhone won't work correctly with USB 3.0." This seems to be a recent problem, since in March 2016, I could spend a few songs from my PC to my phone using iTunes.

I wish I had some ideas of people who have experienced this problem, I find to be a more frustrating one.

Well, you aren't the only one. This just freakin happened to me. I spent the last three hours with apple and Windows supports. Now I'm reinstalling Windows 10 by last resort of Windows support councils. I got the same message USB. In iTunes, under devices something removed my 5s and the iPad. But it remains 6 s wife. I tried my computers 2-(SS) 3.0 ports and 1 port 2.0 ordinary. I tried all four thinners cables I have. I will let you know the result of the Windows reinstall.

  • iPhone 5 s, cannot sync, can not use iTunes app

Hi all. I'm really tired. I found the wires on both of my two really big problems, but none of the solutions listed seem to work. First of all, I will explain what is happening and then possible factors that may have led to this State. I use an iPhone with iOS 9.3.5 5s.

    1st edition.

iTunes will not sync with my phone: when I try to do, I get an error that says: "the iPhone doesn't have to synchronize because the synchronization session could start."

To resolve this problem, I tried, no appreciable results:

    • Reset the phone
    • Restart iTunes
    • restarting my computer
    • Restore my phone from a previous backup, then the synchronization attempt
    • restore the phone to factory, then a backup settings, and then try to synchronize
    • Praying

    2nd edition.

Maybe the cause of the first problem, or somehow related, is that the iTunes on the phone app is now unusable. This is especially weird because after all these restorations of all other applications work fine! Mail, various games, Safari, line; they work perfectly (well, as they always have).

But after each restore, when I try to open the music application, it would break. After restarting the phone, the application opens, but when I try to play a song, or even press any button (such as the passage of the "library" to "playlists" on the bottom panel, the app closed immediately.

According to some discussions on this issue, I tried (again, no no is done):

    • turn on and off Alternatively 'show music Apple' (under settings > music)
    • By clicking 'Join Apple Music' in the same section to access the app from here (in spite of not having music Apple nor any interest in.)
    • force close the app
    • restart the phone
    • all of the above restorations etc.

But I can not try one of the other suggestions, because they are all trying to sync the phone. For example, it was suggested to delete all the music that the phone is turned off and then put it back on, but I can't do it because I can't synchronize in the first place.

    Cause probable/factor

All that being said, a likely cause of all this was that recently I have upgraded to iOS 10. I hated immensely and looked for a way back to iOS 9. I followed this guide, using the first method: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/mobile-phone/how-downgrade-ios-10-ios-9-reinst all-ios-uninstall-3618122 /and it seems to work perfectly, until I checked iTunes and encountered the problem above.

Now, iTunes has been download iOS 10 in perpetuity for awhile and the "Restore" button is no longer available even on my iTunes (on the computer) screen, so even if I wanted to give up and just go to iOS 10, I can't. I also really, really want to do.

Please, is it possible to get my phone to the operation just as it used to? Music is one of the most important functions for me. Any ideas beyond what I tried would be greatly appreciated. I just want this thing to work...

I'm having EXACTLY the same problem, only with an iPhone 6.  All started with iOS 10.  He hated, tried to return to backup iTunes had stopped communicating with my phone, and it had to be updated to 12.5.1, which was beyond the capacity of my OS (10.7.5).  Long story short, I installed 10.9.5 now and updated iTunes to try to fix my phone, but it gives me the above message "synchronization session was able to start.

Certainly, to pass any message from iTunes is a slight improvement over what WAS the case, but this is ridiculous.  A patch needs to be done and QUICKLY or we would start better see some kind of compensation.  $1600 and $3700 iMac iPhone and neither are what they should be, what they were doing, there is a single day.

  • sync the iPhone with iTunes but even different ical and contacts

I would like to sync an iPhone to my mac, my wife and I share. Is it possible that I can connect on the same iTunes account to share our music, but keep our calendars, photos and contacts separate?  Currently, I have my own user account on the computer and I sync with iTunes, but it is not any music. If I put his music library in a shared folder that I have access on the two user accounts, can I delete everything on my phone to sync with the new iTunes library? I wouldn't delete all my apps and everything. Is there a better way to go about this? If it's important, we do not add music to our iTunes so it could be acceptable only for copying all music files once if it was the best way to ensure the rest of our things remain separated. Thanks for your help!

  • problem syncing iPod touch with iTunes

Hi, I had a problem syncing my iPod touch with iTunes. I get a message indicating that there is not enough free space to hold items in the iTunes library, which indicates that I need about 43 GB.

I tried to take as much data on my laptop thinking it would make more space available to my iTunes library which is held on my laptop.

I had a problem some time with the storage of data files and program files. I divide the hard drive and I have a Macintosh HD 2, but also a main drive of the HD. I find that I have an iTunes library in two HD players, so I think I have a duplicate library.

My iTunes app shows that I have a size of music library of-33,40 GB containing elements of 6940. My iPod touch has 6920 songs and 33 videos, 15 photos, 14 applications. The ability of the iPod touch is 56.4 GB, with 2.8 GB available.

If the problem is the duplication of library, can I remove in double track of the HD2, and how to change tp parameters to stop duplication.

Duplication of audio content seems to be a concern for you. If you have a desktop Mac, open iTunes/library/display the duplicate items. You can view and edit tracks easily.

If you do not have a Mac desktop computer, the question is a bit tricky; There is no way to detect mp3 duplicates except manually.

The good news is that the majority of your data bloat is likely to be in the 33 videos. I could most of the videos of archives and see what happens. (I have banned all THE videos of my iPod Touch and I couldn't believe how much I got space).

    I have an iPhone SE

my iTunes is on my laptop HP addition running Windows Vista. (32 bit not 64) It is not able to upgrade to Windows 7.

When I plug my iPhone to sync with iTunes, it gives an error message saying that I need to download the latest version of iTunes.  When I try to do, I get a message saying that my iTunes is up to date with the latest version of iTunes?   If my laptop is running vista only she does support the latest version?  If this is the problem I wish iTunes download center say the my device does not support the latest version of iTunes.  the version I currently have is the only one my device is available for download.

How to access my library iTunes other than buying a new laptop

IPhone WILL not work with Vista. It is not supported. Can't remember where I saw it, but there was something about Windows Vista not supported for iPhone SE. I'll keep looking.

Found at the bottom of the iTunes download support page.  Download iTunes 12.1.3 for Windows (32 bit)

This update allows you to synchronize your iPhone *, iPad * or iPod touch with iOS 9.x and earlier on Windows XP and Windows Vista PC.

  • Cannot sync ipod touch with computer laptop (S)

I have a library of music of 1200 odd pieces. They were on my iPod and the iTunes library on your laptop #1. I recently bought the laptop #2 and decided to access the iTunes library on this one also. I downloaded iTunes on laptop computer #2 and stored in icloud. the library has now disappeared from the iPod (but is still on two laptops). Cannot synchronize with a laptop - #1 will not show the iPod icon so I can't go to the page with the sync button on it - 2 # displays the icon but when I hit sync, it said "cannot synchronize; an unknown error has occurred"or words to that effect. How can I get my music on the iPod. Do I need a new iPod? This is the generation 4.

You said "" can not sync; an unknown error has occurred"or words to that effect. »

  • Windows Media Center cannot sync/set up with AT & T UVERSE

Windows Media Center cannot configure/sync with my cable TV box. ((See system put in place/info below)

I spent about 10 hours trying to solve this problem.  Tried every way Windows Media Center allows you to configure, automatic, manual (tried all listed codes), IR remote learning. I searched the web, talked with HP technical support for more than 3 hours, talked with Motorola, ATT UVERSE, someone seems to have a solution.  Based on troubleshooting, I have it so far, I'm a 90 + % sure it's soley configuration of Windows Media Center TV of UVERSE problem of decoder.

I can get a TV signal on the computer through Windows Media Center and get my cable TV box to make it work, but it's as close as possible. The remote control works, all connections are correct, IR blaster or transponder is located correctly on my TV receiver.

In the IR remote control learn installation manual configuration (I think this is one of the two) or Windows Media Center asks you to press and hold the "0" on your remote decoder, pointing to your receiver IR from PC.  When I press on it it seems to answer by saying to continue to hold then it ask you to release what I'm doing, then I get an error message.  It is the closest, I learned to operate.  I tried a few tricks/variations on this that I found on this site and others, but not luck.

Another question the image that I get, but cannot control with Windows Media Center is of very poor quality (worse than a bad cell phone video on youtube), I guess that's more hardware related issue, but I had a machine good enough speced. Also, there is a time delay major and variable (4-5 seconds) between the time you press a button on the decoder TV and you see the answer on the machine, which makes it very difficult to operate.

I keep trying to stay on the PC band wagon, but of course, the other side seems to be much less difficult to get simple things to work.

    Anyadvice is appreciated.

  • cannot sync my iPad on iTunes

    Hello

    I do not speak English.

A few days ago, I tried to connect my system of generation 4 iPad update my Mac OSX El Capitan, the day on systems also.

the icon of the iPad appeared briefly on iTunes and then quickly disappeared. iTunes sent me the following message: "iTunes cannot read the contents of the Teiki iPad go to the preferences of the iPad Summary tab and click on restore to restore the original settings for iPad."

This is the first time I encounter this problem. I said that my iPad is not jailbroken, I'm not a fan of these techniques.

If you can send me a tutorial out of this impasse that could help me.

    Thanks in advance
