  Hello...

  When you sort your address book in Outlook, search for addresses without a name user or null values. By sorting in your Outlook contacts, you can sort by clicking on the headers. I'd look for any type of anomaly where an address missing data in the name field or address empty. My guess is it has something to do with Outlook contacts.

• Cannot synchronize addresses

  First post, but Palm and Mac user for several years.

  I try to use iSync to Apple for the first time on the mini of my wife running Panther. There no synchronize its addresses, but does everything else.

  Opening of my Palm > Hot sync > parameters of conduct, his addresses are not listed, but to do, calendar etc is.

  How can I add the addresses to the list?

  Good news for those who have this problem. After searching more threads back, I ran across what seems to be an answer. In February 2008 'larbal' posted a similar problem.

  Apparently the Palm does not play well with Apple iSync and moves the address led to a disabled folder. Return to the 'active' State, along with two others and move the conduit Apple off, then running synchronization seems to work. My wife confirms that everything is up to date on his Z21.

  There was a warning window that appears, but the synchronization completed without problem. I hope that this will allow future operations.

  There was some good feedback on the product of Mark Space, but for $40, I prefer this work locally. If Mark Space can get this working, maybe Palm and Apple can do the same!

  Open a window of writing.
  Press F9 to activate the Contact bar.
  Select the contact and drag and drop in an address to the message field

  Double-click the contact

  Select multiple contacts by pressing the control key while clicking the contacts. Then use one add buttons at the bottom of the sidebar.

  I exported my contacts from my webmail E-mail ISP as a file VCARD.vcf (version 3) - which is the only option that my ISP is also for the export of contacts - but when I try to import this file in the Thunderbird addressbook, none of the fields are filled in.

  Mapping has resolved the problem. GroupWise has no corresponding to 'Direct Connect' field. To facilitate data entry, I traced the Direct Connect field in my 8350i with paginator field in my groupwise address books. Now Synchronization Manager BB the nextel direct connect #'s.

  The steps are:

  In the upper frame of the BB desktop, select Configuration synchronization; address book; Advanced; Field Mapping (bottom of list). Map an unused field in the address book of GW with the direct connect field in the 8350i.

  I assumethis would also work with outlook and others.

  In every Contact form, I discovered there is a synchronization field to aid which is filled with the google account. Unfortunately, you cannot change this field.

  Y at - it an easy and fast way to mass - change (the field sync using) all my old contacts sync with my new gmail account?

  I tried with importers and exporters of gmail to gmail, but I lose my contacts photos. I cannot accept this solution because I have more than 500 contacts and 90% of them have an image.

  So I'm asking if someone has an idea to solve this problem.

  But I decided I'm going to do it by hand and transfer between gmail via vcf file transfer account.

  It's a real pain in the * because I know that have to redo all the links between linkedin/facebook and my address book. And also photos of contacts. It would have been very happy to be able to mass change the field "to sync using"

  There is therefore no real solution to solve my problem except to waste a lot of time by hand.

  OK, I did install them all. Now when I go to Thunderbird the gContactSync
  the button appears in my toolbar drop-down list of options are many. When I choose "sync" I receive a message of solicitation for ' sign before the synchronization attempt. Connect to what? I am connected to two my gmail account and my account in Thunderbird.
  When I choose 'connect' and scroll through the newspaper I see authentication error 403. I sent an error report form but have not heard yet return.

  When I choose 'new account' or 'edit account', I get a promt tp ' select Synchronize account or enter credientials Google account. " But my google account name does not appear on the drop-down list only my of accts Thunderbird and no way to change this. Another option on this prompt is to 'use a new account', but it does not recognize my gmail account. Where the authentication error.

  How do fill you your address book? If it was imported, possibly via the CSV file, then it may have given in inappropriate areas. It seems pretty common to be registered when importing e-mail addresses and nicknames, and Thunderbird don't look for email addresses.

  I assume you have tried typing and seized semiautomatic and also F9 and the Contacts Sidebar? You are trying to boot from an open address book?

  Palm said that we can synchronize the address book with Google Contacts, but I can't. It is supposed to be a preference in address book which allows you to choose Google, but I can't. After reading the Apple forums, I feel that this feature is available only when an iPhone is plugged.

  If it is actually feasible, what is the procedure?

  You are referring to the synchronization of your desktop Mac address book to Google, correct Application?

  You will need to hack a bit to allow that, without an iPhone:

  It does not require that you used an iPod before on your mac.  Since the front looks like an iPod, you should be good to go.

  (I seriously need to upgrade to 10.5. Sheesh.)
