I can't turn on my WiFi feature, I did everything said in the community FaQ, but each of them has failed. I did the 'enable the wireless connection. "Troubleshooting", etc. I tried to turn on by windows Mobility Center, but I can't turn it on no matter what I do. It starts to really * me off, it has been so since a week now. You could improve memory to 4 GB of RAM.
The laptop can be upgraded to 4 GB, but note that the Windows 32 bit OS (Vista & XP) will see only 3.2 GB due to the limitation of the 32 bit OS.
In this case, you must use the 64 bit OS to get full access to 4 GB.Second, you can configure laptops OS. I mean you could start the msconfig and might turn off some background process is not necessary including the performance of laptops of waste.

Equium A200-1VO - what could be done to improve the situation of power supply?
I recently bought an Equium A200 1VO as one second laptop - my other (an Aspire) is excellent, but a bit heavy in the basket to autour. Anyway, it seemed fabulous value and has worked very well so far - but I just discovered a catch today, the low battery life. I understand that this gap is shared with most of the other laptops of a comparable weight.
In any case, I wonder what could possibly be done about (I often use my laptop while on the move, in locations without power outlet available, and less than 1 hour of power is very restrictive (I know powersave and others)-especially compared to my other laptop which is about 3 hours on battery)?
Is there a portable power charger (the type with which you can load to the top of their rechargeable batteries on the sector, then take them and be able to charge mobile phones, iPods, etc. several times without needing an external power supply), as the Proporta one, who could charge a laptop as well (well, this laptop)? And how about the 9 cell Li-ion battery that sell Toshiba (or for that matter, one 6 cells)?
How long will pretty much those give me? Are there other types of batteries that can be purchased for an extra life?
Any suggestions on how I could get more autonomy would be most appreciated.

You could buy a stronger battery which delivers more power for a long time
You should take a look at the value of mA; more better ;)Also please don t forget that the Vista operating system needs more power as an early OS like XP.
Vista needs more power because it wastes more computing resources.
I read that a same notebook would run 2 times longer on battery with preinstalled W2K or XP. -

Seeing light, cannot turn on wireless capability switch wireless
I currently have a Sony Vaio laptop, running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. Today I came from work and my wireless connection has been disconnected. That morning, everything was beautiful and functional properly. I noticed that the led next to the switch wireless off even if the switch is turned on. I tried jiggling the power switch on the front of the laptop but the light does not. When I troubleshoot the network adapter, it says "Activation of the wireless feature. When I go on the VAIO Smart Network, wireless LAN is turned on but the status says offline. I am at a loss for what to do, I rebooted, restored and turned off my phone for a while. I even reset my wireless router to attempt to repair if all goes well, something. If there is anything I can do to solve this problem, assistance would be very welcome.

Have you checked the device wireless in Device Manager?
Open run then type devmgmt.msc, then disable the check provided for in the network to see if the device is either missing or reports an error.
If it is disabled, then try to activate again.

Hey guys I have a problem I could use some help with.
I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64-bit
4 GB of Ram
Intel Duo Core T6500 @ 2.1 GHZ
I've had this laptop over a year now and it works perfectly but around a week ago, he went a little out of whack.
Basically, no matter what programs are running my CPU usage will be 90-100%, which makes the laptop almost impossible to use.
It comes and goes a bit, but for the majority of the time is around this margin. (for example I wrote that his party up to 10% once again, little about what I expected, but it will rocket upward again in a few minutes)
The strange thing is that it doesn't seem to be a program or .exe using all CPU. Sometimes odd things as Dell Dock (which must use almost nothing) use up to 40% and if that gets closed or temporarily fixed things like explorer.exe, svchost.exe or whatever happens to be executed at the moment when will start using more CPU and look back up to 100%.
Only, this started happening recently and I have no idea what made him... Any thoughts?

Hello, we have a computer dell laptop 3510 that no matter what we tried, we were able to install the Windows 7 64-bit enterprise edition. I have worked with Dell on this same they couldn't get it to work., we are past the UEFI BIOS for Legacy and had the right to RAMA and there was the third thing that I have a hard time recalling, I think it's boot on CD, and the setting has been set successfully. We spent hours trying to do or not this result. I tried the DVD and USB, at one point, it looked as if he was going to install the o/s, but we got a box that came to ask us to search for the drivers, I could see the "C" drive and the 'X'
He asked to load the driver, but no matter what we tried, it didn't work. Here I could get. I even ran the F6 drivers utility, and it was still a no-go.

Cannot delete hiberfil.sys. No matter what.
Hi guys, for the last few weeks I was on a trip to remove hiberfile.sys frustrating and in desperation I asked for help.
My Windows 7 is installed on its own disk having a capacity of 29.7 GB. I was installing all my programs and everything on the other drive, but the hiberfil.sys is taking 8.3 GB and despite all my best efforts (using CCcleaner, media stored on external HD etc etc) this car only has a few hundred MB free and is way in the red.Result is, I don't want to Hibernate, and I don't want this file with 27% of my C: / and it will not leave.
OK, so I read almost all guides on the 3 first pages of google search images "delete hiberfil.sys" and they all give essentially the same steps.so far, that's what I did:- Go to settings of power and assured Hibernate is disabled - in fact this isn't there at all.
- Open a cmd in administrator mode and type powercfg-h off prompt.
- I also did the foregoing in about 50 setups a different syntax - all I found online (e.g., powercfg.exe HIBERNATE OFF)
- I know for a fact that the syntax works because I used 50 powercfg.exe/HIBERNATE/Size and it actually changed the size. It has really changed the size of 6 GB to 8 GB which has been a big shock, because I was under the impression she's 75% by default, but anyway...
- After powercfg-off in the syntax as much as I could find, I want to restart my machine and the hiberfil.sys is always still there.
- Not where I could find online or on forums showed those who encounter this same problem where it is not removed after you perform this step.

The Hiberfil.sys hidden system file is located in the folder root of the drive where the operating system is installed. The Windows Kernel Power Manager reserves this file when you install Windows. The size of this file is approximately equal to the amount of memory (RAM) is installed on the computer.
The computer uses the file Hiberfil.sys to store a copy of the system hard disk memory when sleep hybrid setting is turned on. If this file is not present, the computer cannot Hibernate.
I suggest you delete the file in safe mode and check. Ensure that hibernation is not enabled.
If you still can't delete it, use the Windows 7 installation disc to start the computer in safe mode with command prompt and run the command to remove the file.

I cannot attach a file in an email, what I've done before.

No sound. There seems to be other audio devices on this computer, a legacy Audio Driver - unknown location. I also have a CD-Rom Mitsumi drive, if that helps. This feature lists location 0 (0). When I go to: Control Panel, sounds and Audio devices, and "Audio" tab all is Ghost and I am unable to change the sound settings. Volume tab says "No. Audio Device" and is also ghost. I have troubleshooted everything and told me that they all work properly. Don't know what to do next.
