  I'm trying to transfer my Firefox on my new laptop computer info. By attempting to use Sync to try to accomplish, I ran into the following sequence of problems:

  1. I went to set up sync in the drop of Firefox and received a set of three, four characters codes to enter in my laptop Firefox.
  2. I went to the Options in my laptop computer and clicked on Sync there.
  3. I clicked on the pair a device, entered my office codes and clicked OK.
  4. on the account details screen, I have entered my email address (I got no problem for more than 10 years) and was informed that the address was already in use. I assumed that this meant that I didn't actually have a sync account established.
  5. I went back to the previous screen, this time by clicking on I have an account, and then click OK.
  6. on the login screen I entered my account email address (since I'm not aware of any other account name or number to use) and that of the passwords that I sometimes used with this address.
  7. any password I entered (of those that I can remember), the next button remains greyed out, since there is no recovery key to enter.
  8. I have returned to my desktop and went to Sync under Options. However, despite what is said in the window of the connection on the laptop, there is no button or link to manage my account or my recovery key that appears in the window on my desktop. All I get is the same create a new account or I have an account options.
  9. I am not aware of ever created an account of synchronization, and even fewer have received and registered a recovery key. However, to verify that I don't actually have an account, I used Firefox to change my password, that allowed me to do so without incident. I tried to do this job more than a dozen times today, using different stages or levels of steps (e.g. from the laptop rather that the office, from the Options rather than configuring the synchronization menu drop-down).

All my CS3 update programs that are now CS4 run on my desktop... but Prem Pro does not work on my second computer which is my cell phone (works on my desktop).  He said that the license has expired.  Well, since I paid full price for this and have a license full activated and am registered I find it confusing to say the least.

  Any suggestions?  I'm resistant to call their support line since I have concluded that Adobe training of their technicians in India is next to nill and they don't have any idea of Adobe software beyond what they are film script to say.

  This occurred as first I started the laptop, made of windows, MS Office 365 updates, added then waiting 2 days for windows 10 to arrive.  When it came it installed fine and then I added a printer driver for an HP printer and made some configurations of the operating system.  At the next reboot showed something was wrong as the boot took over 7 minutes.  As the synaptics app was referenced twice in the tab start Task Manager also had strange things in the system.  Rather than go back to a previous system restore point that I attempted to identify what was wrong and uninstalled all without success.  I then had the opportunity to go back to 8.1 for Windows or "reset the PC.  Not a lot of explanation on delivery to zero and certainly no warning options that the D: partition was no longer valid.  Windows options were "in my face" so I don't think watching HP recovery.  So I chose to run from Control Panel 'Reset the PC and keep the files'.  So, indeed, I now have a clean install of Windows 10 but have lost all applications that were on the factory orginal building.  I see no way to re - install all of these programs and find the license keys.  I have more HP recovery at all.

  So I have no way to put the blue doesn't return to the factory settings.

  Advice please, I want a laptop blue, the same as the red, i.e. Windows 10 with all applications that have come to the factory as well as the correct printer drivers and a time of less than 30 seconds of starting.

Now updates Windows says to download/install 79 important updates and many of those that are recommended. Is it better to install all updates of recommened front the upgrade to Windows 8.1?   Yes. Some updates are needed for the 8.1 update, so I would just leave your computer install what it needs.
