Cannot use Bluetooth USB Dongle with Satellite P100

A few months ago, I bought a dongle Bluetooth USB of Marks & Spencers. He says it's a Bluetooth 2 product. When I put the dongle into the USB port I can see no problem with drivers & Bluetooth in my device manager but I am still not able to see Bluetooth anywhere else on the computer and my phone is unable to find t.

I was not able to load the software which accompanies it as sound does not seem compatible with windows vista. My laptop is Satellite P100 - 160.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong & what do?

Thank you.

You must have at least version 5 of the Bluetooth stack in oder to use it with Vista. Please check your site to sellers of laptop computer for her.

  • Problem of Dynadock U using Bluetooth USB dongle

    Hello

I have a U Dynadock, used with a Lenovo SL500 32 Vista family. In the last four months, I got a dongle Bluetooth USB Kensington plugged into a USB port on the back of the Dynadock. My laptop had no problem finding, turn on the Bluetooth radio and allow me to pair it with a helmet.

I had to plug everything back in after an office move (I did not remove the dongle) and now my laptop cannot find the dongle. I tried it in different locations on the nothing helps Dynadock USB, and I also checked that the dongle is still working by plugging directly on my laptop and connect it to my helmet.

Any idea what could have gone wrong?

  • Cannot use MemoryStick pro duo with Satellite M35x

    Hello

I can't insert a "memory stick pro duo" card of a digital camera in my Toshiba Satellite m35x.

Single stick memory slips inside the slot "bridge media" and does not lock at all (I used actually curved tweezers to extract it back).

It seems that the 'bridge of the media' slot is too large for the memory card.

I read the user guide and the procedure seems simple.

    What evil?

    I think the question is:

Is the Satellite M35X supports the memory stick pro duo?

I put t think so buddy.

Check your user manual that must be preinstalled on your laptop to make sure which cards are compatible with one whose cards are not supported!

If the memory stick duo pro is not supported by the internal card slot then you should choose an external external solution as a USB card reader.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A205: Bluetooth USB dongle will connect is AirCable

I plugged a dongle Bluetooth USB generic on my Satellite A205 and used for several hours over a period of three days to connect to a Bluetooth Serial AirCable to run my telescope controller. The generic dongle worked after downloading a stack of Toshiba.

Whenever I turned the Bluetooth it incremented COM port numbers
My telescope controller will not recognize the Comms above 20 so I deleted the Comms that really were not used.

Connects the USB Bluetooth dongle is no longer the AirCable Bluetooth series. * It worked before and will not work

I tried three Bluetooth USB dongles different, including TrendNet, AirCable and credits.
I can not connect the telescope controller AirCable series Bluetooth with all the dongles.

_ * Someone can suggest a monitor Bluetooth that will work, or suggest a way to get my A205 to work with one of my Bluetooth USB dongles? * _

    Don

What battery Bluetooth has been bundled with your Bluetooth adapter?
You must use it. If it was the Toshiba Bluetooth stack while I would use the custom Mode of it to set up the COM port that you like, for example, COM6.

  • How to use a USB mouse with 8 Thinkpad?

    Hello!

I would like to know how to use a USB mouse with 8 Thinkpad. Here in the Brazil, Lenovo does not sell any micro USB USB converters. So, I found on the market several options, but mainly focused for Android tablets and smartphones and not Windows 8.1 devices. He will work with a converter OTG? It supports this type of technology?

    Thank you!!

You can use any cable USB OTG, it's just the cable and two connectors. I use this Setup with USB keyboard. But it is more convenient to use a Bluetooth wireless mouse.

  • Issues FTP using the USB Dongle - solution?

    Hi guys,.

I just got a (Vodafone UK) USB dongle and connect online in this way ok - the problem is that Dreamweaver doesn't seem to work with this mode of ftp transfer using a USB dongle.

When I try to edit a page on a Web site, this page goes haywire and become full of gibberish along the lines of:

    «op§šdn.0 'Ö ' 0' $ai.k4tai < |'» # »... ETC. ETC........................."

Any ideas why or how do to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

Now, I found the solution. For reference:

It seems to be a problem of Vodafone software. To overcome it, do not connect the internet using the shortcut of Vodafone, to place on your desktop, go to the windows start menu > Connect To > and select Vodafone Mobile Connect. If you connect this way, there seems to be no problem of ftp when using Dreamweaver.

  • Satellite P100-286: cannot use Bluetooth after installing XP

I have a portable P100-286 Satellite with bluetooth. It used to work OK but since I re-installed Windows XP SP2 I can't use bluetooth.
There is nothing in the control panel and nothing in the hardware Manager that mentions the bluetooth.

I installed al the latest drivers and BIOS updates and still nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas why I don't see bluetooth?

I think that you didn't install the driver BT properly and didn t activate BT

First download the pile of BT since this Toshiba BT Portal:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

BT installation restart the laptop and turn it on by using the FN + F8 key combination!

Hope that this will enable BT again

    Hello!

You can format the USB on the laptop, and you can see it in disk management?
Do you have the yellow marks in Device Manager?

This shouldn't be a problem with the USB ports, I think that the USB have some errors.

  • Bluetooth USB dongle frustration

    Hello

I have a T60 2007GAU.  Apparently I don't have Bluetooth integrated in accordance with my search for the model and the lack of a Bluetooth icon in the Device Manager.  FN + F5 displays only the wi - fi button.

    I use Windows 7 Pro 32 bit

I installed a generic Bluetooth dongle and it had my paired Motorola headset and was able to listen.  Something happened and the Motorola is no longer, and I don't have a Bluetooth icon in the Device Manager.

I tried to use the "BluetoothDriverInstaller.exe" and get the message: "no not configured bluetooth devices found.  You must uninstall your existing bluetooth driver (stack) and restart your computer. »

I googled and come empty handed with regard to how uninstall existing bluetooth drivers because there is nothing showing in Add/Remove Programs, as everything I found was asked to me.

When I plug the USB dongle, it does not appear in hidden icons, or the USB port of the connected devices.

Frustrated, I hope that the Forums HP has answers for me...

    Thanks in advance,

    Whyzman

    Hello

HP is not a product called "T60 2007GAU" are you sure it's a HP product?

  • Acer Iconia B - Can I use a USB Dongle?

    Hello

Please let me know if I can use a USB key/Dongle USB in "Micro USB 2.0 port" for the transfer of data.

The information I have on the Iconia B1 - A71 said that the microUSB port is not a hub and port for charging and data cable connection.  You should be able to do the data transfer with the port of another computer.

  • Cannot use Bluetooth notebook Mouse 5000 - mouse in Windows 7.

I do not understand, cannot use the notebook mouse 5000 in Windows7. When the Logitech mouse can. I can be found by bluetooth, but it has not installed all the drivers. And it cannot be used at last. I have no why material made by Microsoft may not be recognized by the new Microsoft System. I think it's funny. However, in the website of this mouse. It was said to be supported by Windows 7.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and you are using the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000.  I tried the way Service.MSC recommended to select automatic and then local system and then OK and and so on.  It does not work.  I thought the mouse was defective, but then I tried to pair it with three other phones and it is paired with each other.  Why not on Windows 7 system?  I found the problem.  In all humility, wait a few days before making the following fix to give time for a technical genius to say that it is a good solution or if I just open my system to a host of other issues.  What I can say to you is the failure to connect the mouse has been frustrating but the fix I suggest worked instantly.

Go to the icon START and type services. MSC and some SERVICES.  The dialog box that opens has a long list of things but find BLUETOOTH SUPPORT SERVICE and double-click or open it.  Select AUTOMATIC.  See the LOG on tab.  Choose the LOCAL SYSTEM and this is the road to nowhere.  This was the recommended fix, but it has never worked for me.  Select THIS ACCOUNT instead.  Type of LOCAL SERVICE.  NOW; If you click OK, it will say select password invalid or such.  No problem.   This; type Local Service in the dialog box, and then delete (a 15-dot-string) password points under the password and remove the string under confirm (the two password boxes are now empty).  Choose OK.  SUCCESS.  It should then tell you to STOP the service, then re - start the service before the change to take effect.  It should work now.

The first thing to understand I guess, is that there is a difference between the LOCAL SYSTEM and the LOCAL SERVICE.  Configuration help dialog box says the password in the choice of LOCAL SERVICE is a null password - that was my idea.  When I chose the LOCAL SERVICE (typing in the line of dialog box) I would always get the password box and this is what brought me to take a break.  Since it is a NULL password according to the Help menu - then you should be able to remove it?  Yes, I did.  He accepted my change and after stopping and restarting the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 service (don't use any transmitter/receiver) has worked perfectly and CONNECTED!

I compared all my other systems that accept pairing by checking SERVICES. MSC and each computer using LOCAL SERVICE AND NOT of LOCAL SYSTEM!

There you are!  As I said to the expectations of the beginning to see if a technical person writes and says "do not follow this recommendation.  I have no computer knowledge and my dose could have opened other problems outside power connect the mouse, the object of the exercise.  I'll look for it, too, in case I just create an unintended complication of other stuff like viruses, malicious this-and-that, and so on.

I post because the solution worked and I wanted to share the solution of all the many hours of total frustration in finding a solution to the question of the mouse.
