    Hello

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

The problem can also be caused by your security such as anti-virus program or a firewall of Windows /Defender that can have conflicting parameters as to not not to perform certain tasks. I suggest you temporary disable antivirus and firewall and check the result again. You must activate new security that you was disabled programs.
    Disable the antivirus software:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

May also need to do this on other computers as well.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

The only change that has taken place today, is that I have installed the SolarWinds TFTP server.  DRC worked fine after that for hours.  DRC later no longer worked.  I deleted the server TFTP SolarWindws and the problem persists.

    Hello

Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums as it is related to maximize the number of RDP session for Office remote connections to the server. Appropriate in instances of Windows Server.

  • Cannot print using Remote Desktop connection

I have a computer that we will called XP. XP was XP loaded on this subject. It is on a home network with ethernet etc. It has a USB Samsung CLP315 printer attached to it, which we will call SAMSUNG.  XP print SAMSUNG without any problem. SAMSUNG is shared and has the latest drivers.

    Configuration on XP
    Pilot # is 3.04.85:44
Port: USB001 virtual printer for USB Port
Sharing installed additional drivers Intel environment Windows 2000 or XP

Using Remote Desktop connection, I connect to my computer at work, that we will call the WORK that has Windows 7 above and is part of a local network. When you use Word for example on WORK, I should be able to print on SAMSUNG on XP. However SAMSUNG on XP does not present as a printer available. However, I can print from JOB printers shared on the local network or locally connected. Unfortunately, it is of limited use to me because I can not physically get the printed paper, or to know if the printed page correctly until the next day, I get to work.

I have the Settings Options on the remote desktop connection when I connect XP to WORK remotely. I think that this complies with the info I found on the knowledge base.

On the general tab, I have the correct name of the computer and user. I have "allow me to save credentials" deselected.

Local "resources" tab, "materials and resources local printers" and "Clipboard" are selected. Under 'More', 'smart cards' and 'Cards series' are selected. Similarly 'Readers' and 'Supported peripheral Plug - n Play' and their subitems are all selected.

    Tab programs not specified

If there is other information in the options that may be relevant, please advise and I will detail later.

Already XP used to via the desktop connection to remotely connect to another computer to WORK which took place of XP. When I'd do things on the WORK and wanted to print with SAMSUNG on XP, SAMSUNG has shown on the list of available printers and would print WORK jobs

On the local network at the office, WORK is connected and print to a shared printer on a computer showroom (XP) which is identical to the SAMSUNG for model # and driver. So by my way of thinking, the driver is already loaded and functioning.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Error trying to use remote desktop.

I'm having a repeatable error trying to use remote desktop in Windows 7 Pro.

    The error I get is:

Your computer could not connect to another session from the console on the remote computer, because you already have a current console session.

I don't have sssion another current.  I get this error right after a fresh reboot.  A Mater of fact due to multiple problems, I got with a new computer, I have re-installed Windows on another hard drive to make sure that everything was fresh.  I get the same error.

I am connected with administrator privileges and I got this error the first time I tried to establish a session.  It's the same problem I had with the other installation of Windows.  Can someone point me to a solution?  I'm relatively new to versions of Windows 7, but not at the earliest.

Thanks to all who can help.

  • Equium L40 - Vista - BSOD using remote desktop

    Hello

I have been using my laptop to connect to an XP machine using remote desktop. In recent weeks, the laptop began to blue screen and stop. There is no reason to set, the only thing I noticed, is that if I have IE open on the satellite, it seems blue screen rather sooner than later.

I did used such as the reduction of the resolution and the number of colors are imported from the XP, smooting fonts wallpaper, Wallpapers etc.

    Still freezes however.

    Any thoughts?

    Wireless driver is fully updated...

    Hello

In your case, it is really not easy to say why the BSOD appears
But I would exclude the hardware problem and would tend to the issue of the software

It seems a Vista and the XP operating system should communicate together eventually it s a Vista problem?  :| I have read several articles on the Vista bugs and to be honest it possible s that and patch is necessary

I would really recommend update Vista to the last State. Find all patches and fixes. In addition, you must know that the Vista service pack 1 is now available.
This time it s that a BETA version and the final version will be available in the coming weeks

  • Try to use remote desktop to connect to a computer in safe mode with networking

I'm trying to troubleshoot a remotley pc on the network using remote desktop. I can connect properly, however, I want to continue to solve the problems with the pc remote in safe mode. When I choose to restart the pc in safe mode with network remote I am unable to connect to this computer by using remote desktop. Is there a certain config that I need to put in place inside msconfig which will restart in safe mode and I would still like access to connect to this computer by using remote desktop. Thank you.

    Hello

    @hoosier1077

Assuming this isn't a general network problem (such as restarting changes to the local IP address on the remote computer).

    Maybe this can help.

  • Sound when you use remote desktop...

Hi all.  I am glad that I found this forum.  In any case, I was FINALLY able to connect to my desktop, Windows XP Pro, using remote desktop, since my laptop Vista Home Premium, but I can't get sound from my desktop for work.  This was the reason why I wanted to log in because my office has an impressive system of 5.1 speakers and we ALL know what kind of sound, a laptop... lol.  I want to be able to play music on the desk while I work on the laptop. I get the sound through the laptop here, but I can't figure out how to have the opposite effect.  I noticed on the office, he says he uses the audio device of RDP and I even tried accepts for the Realtek device but nothing helped.

Is it possible that I can hear my music on my desktop?

Please, it would be SO awesome!

    Thanking you in advance,
    Karen

Ok. Open the desktop connection remote [DRC] on your mobile client DRC and select Options > local resources. Configure the remote computer to allow for the remote computer.

Depending on which version of the client DRC the wording may be slightly different. In the distant past of the people also reported need to launch audio player function, IE. Media Player for example, on the DRC host PC before connecting to her customer's DRC PC/computer laptop. • Impossible to copy and paste from/to XP using remote desktop

Due to problems, I have recently reinstalled Vista on my pc.  Before the reinstall, I could access my PC using XP, using remote desktop from work to distance and copy and paste the files from XP and Vista.

Since the reinstallation, I'm not able to copy/paste unless I have turn off UAC.  (I have progbably had turned off before, but he didn't.)  Is there a way to copy and paste them to work without disabling UAC?  Maybe some changes in the policy or registry?

Note: I use Remote Desktop with Clipboard selected for local devices and resources.

    TIA.

    Janis

I saw this thread earlier and it does not apply.  I would say the copy/paste of text works.  I can't copy and paste a file.  UAC seems to be the key here.

I found a work around.   I connect with a local drive.  Since the remote desktop, I can copy files to the local disk, which then I have the file available locally and I can go other directions.  It's a little slow, but it works for now.
