  I get the error 'cannot use adobe reader to view PDFs in your web browser.  Player will now stop.  Please exit your browser and try again"in Windows 7 x 32 and Windows 7 x 64 with Acrobat pro 8.1.7.  This occurs when you try to open a PDF file in Internet explore 8.0.760 or when I open a PDF file in Quickbooks 2008.  If I answer ok or cancel, the file opens normally.  If I open acrobat 8 first of all and then the pdf file opens as expected.  I also tried a copy of Acrobat reader, with no difference in the result.  Because this happens on two different computers a new copy of windows 7 x 64, the other, an upgrade to windows 7 x 32 and they used to work before moving to windows 7, I guess that there is some sort of incompatibility with windows 7 and acrobat.  Is this a known problem and will be fixed in an update to acrobat in the near future?

  Because your screen look nothing like that of the following screenshot:

  If not... try to open the folder my pictures and go to...
  Tools / Folder Options / General tab...
  Tick... Show common tasks in folders / apply / OK...

  Now, try again the files button in the toolbar.

  As for making your Windows Photo And Fax Viewer default viewer...
  Right-click on a photo and choose the menu... Properties / change button...
  Select (highlight) Windows Picture And Fax Viewer / OK / apply / OK...

  I suggest you follow the given steps and later a update on the State of the question.

  a. open the Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, appearance and personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
  b. now click on the view tab, and check the options-
  - uncheck the option always show icons, never thumbnails.

  In regards to your panoramas... free Photo Story 3 can a pan
  side to side... just set a start and an end point. However... Photo
  History cannot import videos... just photos.

  This is not a full tutorial, but should be enough to help you started...

  First be sure that the photo is less than 7200 x 7200 pixels pixels.

  Import a panoramic photo in Photo Story 3 and move on
  the screen "tell your photos and customize the animation."
  (do not remove the black borders)

  On the left, click Custom animation...

  Check the box on the screen to customize the animation...... "specify

  video clips in DVD Maker to create your DVD. If you have
  problems with the video clips you may need to convert to MP4
  paste them into WMV format before importing in creation of DVD.

  Right now, I have a slideshow that only fills the center of the page, which is how I want. I don't want a slide show full-screen. If I double click on one of them in the media folder, they appear in the control screen, but when I drag them in the video timeline 1 they do not play.  the screen is blank.   Thank you whsprague... got it fixed... it's that darn... Nvidia driver problem somehow my computer for video driver updates without knowing me it... lol... and I found the driver may 2013, installed and everything works well again...

  I had a wedding 2 weeks before and today I wanted to present the slide show... haha...

  I have massive problems and could not find an answer to the iNet so far, seems others have the same proiblem, but no solution has been postetd anywhere.

  I am filling a minute 08:55 slideshow with music by fitting of the file to the mp3 format, the file is not corrupt and plays fine on all my devices.

  As much as I could find, LR takes the mp3 files...

  So, what I am doing wrong?

  Whenever I'm trying to visit Hotmail/Outlook, Firefox is crashes and unresponsive for about 15-30 sec. It is not just Hotmail/Outlook, all HTML5 Web based (like Canv.as, 9GAG etc.) sites causing problems same too. It isn't about my system, because my laptop is only a few months and has Intel i5 processor and 8 GB of RAM.

  Here are the steps that I already tried and did not help:

  1 delete and create profile
  2. clean reboot without Add - ons
  3 clear the history of the browser, cache, temp files, etc.
  4. install Firefox uninstall/cleanup

  Hi bambamtusa, since it occurs on the first visit in a session and more modern pages, another thought: you have a lot of fonts on your system? See: Firefox crashes on websites (example: g2play.net) on deactivation of the downloadable fonts (gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled = > false).

  The Atrix is very picky with the Chargers. Use the one supplied with the phone. I had the same problem with my old HTC charger. The panic phone. I changed the charger HTC on an another outlet and it worked. I always recommend no. to use your "old" Chargers

  It of a beautiful phone... and navigates very well with GPRS / 3G.

  However, if I turn on wifi, (connected to my home wireless router) the browser does not at all.

  I have a Netgear router and it is very good for other devices.

  BB 9780 wifi session is set to WPA

  I have a dataplan with Virgin.

  I conclude that the wifi does not work and it would be very disappointing... and sounds weird!

  Well, I finally fixed it.

  My BB was not able to connect to my Netgear router, but it could connect with happiness with the wifi of my neighbor.

  I turned off the WMM security setting on my Netgear router advanced setting Panel.

  Bing, the BB is now wifi.
