Cannot view album art in the media player 11
I downloaded an MP3 on the internet and I have the song click right and select Find Album Info. After that I found an album containing the art of the song and the album, I clicked next and finish, but the album art doesn't show in media player. I'm using WMP 11.

Album art size - Windows Media Player 12
Repost this, in the hope that someone (obviously not MS, who clearly couldn't care) has an idea how to solve thisI've seen dozens of discussions around the intarnetz on the issue of small album art in Windows Media Player 12, but does not find a definitive 'yes' or 'No' to the question of whether you can get something larger than the resized image pathetic 240 x 240 display when you play a track. Is this possible? If I play titles in Foobar or MediaMonkey (the two programs I hate, BTW) I can get album art to display 'properly' (i.e. the actual size of the image) but cannot find how do in WMP12PS: Mods - do NOT mark this question as "answered" once some muppet of first line reads and publishes a 'response' nothing on it. Also, do not rename the question "how to get album art to display more than 240 x 240 - I don't want" more than 240 x 240' - I want it displays THE ACTUAL SIZE OF the WORK - just like WMP always used to do. ' " Thank you very much.I found a solution for the problem of art version 32-bit windows 7 wmp12 album also (since prior to the given by me is true only for Windows 7 64 - bi wmp12).
Here it is:
Make a backup before doing the prescribed steps as mess with registry can lead to a DEAD computer.
(For backup just click on COMPUTER in regedit.exe, and then file-> export-> 'file name' (may take a few minutes))
1) go to the path in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences
(2) then create a key with the name 'PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected' and set its value data to ' ' as '0' (without qoutes) (for the creation of new key, right click anywhere inside the window and select "new-> DWORD (32-bit) Value")
(3) then find the key with the name 'ShowAlbumArt' and its 'value data' the value "1" (without qoutes)
The Windows Media Player 12 now shows the original AlbumArt who put you in the song.
Enjoy!

Cannot add album art in the windows media player 11
I used to put album art on mp3 manually files with advanced tag editor and I had no problem, but all of a sudden (I won't change anything in the configuration) it stopped, not even a message... When I drag any image of the album (which is not playing), it always creates the folder.jpg and albumartsmall.jpg files but it shows thumbnails of coverage associated with each file, and when I go again to tag editor advanced is as I din't put the lid in it, so it shows the coverage only for the information of the album but not for every song of it and I'd like to see the covers in the solution once again Explorer. I don't have the media player connected to the internet, but this is not the problem... Any suggestions?

How to print music album art in Windows Media Player
How can I print music album art?...
I have Win XP. It is supposed to be a tab to get more from your media center, but I'm not. . I installed a windows program to allow me to get and print the album art to music, but I can't access the program. None of the support tools help here. Can someone tell me how to print my CD album covers?
Hello
Microsoft does not help you print the album art to music. You can use any third-party tool to do the same (if available). Use your favorite search engine to search for such a request.
Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Album art from Windows Media Player do not transfer to my device
Hello
I have a MyTouch 4 G and I wanted to sync with my Windows Media Player library (I'm using Windows Vista). Then I added all my albums and their added work in my library. Once the synchronization is complete, I unplugged my phone. All the songs were there, but the work was not. D: but the names of the artists and albums are there. What I am doing wrong?
I'd appreciate any help on this! (:
Thank you
loleverything
Hello
Try these steps and check if the problem persists,
1. click on "Start" then "all programs", then "Windows Media Player."
2. right click on the album you want to add a picture to, and then click "find album info". Wait a few minutes while Windows Media Player connects to the Internet and download album art for your songs.
3. connect your myTouch to your computer with the USB cord. The next time that you sync music, the album art will be transferred as well
If this is the same procedure that you followed, then I suggest you to post your query in the Forums from HTC.

Cannot add files/folders to the Media Player library
Hello. New user of Windows Media Player (WMP) here. Using Vista business so I think I have Media Player 11.
I have MP3 (converted M4a format) files on an external hard drive. WMP will play them very well, but I can't seem to add them to the "library". I tried to manually add the folder to the external hard drive, these files are in the folders that WMP scans to add items. When I press 'OK', WMP seems analysis this folder added (it shows some 3 000 scanned files), but it only shows nothing added to the library.
I cannot rip from CD for this external hard drive and WMP looks ID, create folders and copy the songs to the disc hard drive very well (AND add them to the library very well). But I can not "RIP" these MP3 files anywhere... "RIPPING" seems to be only for the files on CD and the computer.
I must be missing something simple! Is it possible to add these existing MP3 files to my library?
Thank you!
Your library has probably been corrupted, so it needs to be reset, by following the instructions for WMP 11 Vista at http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary . Note the reset of the library will make you lose all the counts to play and possibly ratings too.
After the reset of the library, add the folder music on the external hard drive to the list of WMP watched folders.

How to add lyrics and album art using windows media player 12 on Windows 7?
When I am running windows xp with WMP 11, adding lyrics, album art, and even synchronized lyrics is so easy, simply right-click on the song and select advanced tag editor.
The Advanced Tag Editor (ID3 tag editor), which allows users to edit information, is Aussie an important feature, but I do not understand why Microsoft has actually remove this function.
If I may ask, how to add the lyrics and album art in WMP 12. Find the album in WMP12 info function is really not that useful. Japanese, Korean and Chinese songs when using find album info, generally, nothing is found.
WMP12 is really irritating. It's because you can't do it within the WMP12. You have to do a right click on the file from windows Explorer, made > properties > summary > advanced > then you can add the words within the field of words... you see it's really a stirring :(
See you soon

How can I add info art using Windows Media Player
Original title: I have a CD with 2 discs. The album art for disc 2 is correct. The album art for disk 1 is incorrect. How can I get the correct art on a disc in my Windows Media Player?
I have a CD in my Windows Media Player with 2 discs. The album art shows correctly for disc 2, but not for disk 1. How do the correct album art show on disc 1? Initially, I had no cover showing for disc 2. When I corrected the kind to match disk 1 the correct album art has been automatically added. The album art on disk 1 has not corrected and remain incorrect. I would like to have two discs showing the same album art. If anyone has knowledge on how to do it, it would be more useful.

You play content directly from CD or you have copied the contents of the computer?

The info I am updating in the media player is not appear on the file itself?
Hi, I'm bad with, which, in my view, is, synchronizing the information? I usually empty files only mp3 title that I would update using "Find Album Info" in windows media player. Usually, it works, but when I check some files, it's always empty. Here is a picture of one of the many songs that suffer from this.
As you can see, some songs are perfectly up-to-date. I tried to restart, wait a few days, etc.; the problem persists. It's frustrating because when I sync with my phone in any case, it appears as "Unknown artist" even if it is perfectly updated in the media player on my computer. How can I fix it? Thank you.Hi LillianH,
Thanks for the reply.
Glad to know that the problem is solved. Back to us for any problem related to Windows. We will be happy to help you.

Try to remove deleted files from the Media Player library
There are video files in my Windows Media Player library that I deleted, but items still appear in my video library. When I right click on the file and choose 'Remove', nothing happens. The video files were originally in the folder my music and I deleted them using the Explorer. However, they still appear in the Media Player library (even if they are not functional - because I have deleted!). I followed what Umesh suggested GregRN, but that doesn't seem to work for me. How can I get rid of deleted files appear in the Media Player library? I use a HP Pavilion dv4 using Windows 7 (64-bit).
