When you send an e-mail using Outlook Express, I immediately get this message; "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please see the list of errors below for more details". Unfortunately, there are no errors listed below and the green bar is frozen on the screen. The message remains in my Outbox and repeated again and again sending. There is absolutely no record and file sent in my sent box. TIA - Ernie
You have apparent dbx file corruption. A common problem.Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View. With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them. New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.General precautions for Outlook Express:Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:

I tried to set up a Gmail on windows mail 8 for some time. It worked before but then I had to re - install the app and I can't seem to log in now. The only difference between now and when it worked is that I had turned on google + once I had it working the first time, but now I have that turned off.
I always get this error: unable to connect. Make sure that the information you entered is correct. If I have the chance and he fails to add account, then synchronization takes a long time and emails take 5-10 minutes to arrive on the application it does to get to my account in a web browser and on my phone. Many users complain about this, we really need a strong response here.Hi Martyr844_Coffe,
Make sure that your google account manager has granted approval of this log - in...
From there... https://myaccount.google.com/.
And change the account setting Gmail on Mail app account like the following picture setting...

Can't send or receive emails on Outlook Express
Original title: Outlook send & receive
Outlook Express won't send or receive e-mails. An error message is displayed, but goes straight, until I have a chance to read it. . I have several scans and find no virus
One or several dbx files may be corrupted. Around that, the simplest method is to create a new identity.File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.General precautions for Outlook Express:Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Microsoft says find & rename "folders.dbx". Search "folders.dbx" on C, D & F drives hard but nothing turned up. What now?
Hi Jill,
Thanks for posting. To resolve this problem, proceed as follows.
1. click on start, point to find and then click files or folders.
2. tap sent Items.dbx in the named box.
3. now you will need hard drive click main (usually drive C) in the search box in and then click Find now.
4. right click on the Sent Items.dbx file and then click Rename.
5. then click OK after typing sent Items.old.
6. Finally, restart Outlook Express. This action automatically creates a new Sent Items.dbx file.I hope this helps! Shawn - Support Engineer - MCP, MCDST

Make sure that your email is incorrect e-mail
Every day, when I start my computer, this annoying message. He has the wrong email address on this subject. Somehow I accidentally put in [email protected] and it won't go away. I create an account with the correct address, but it does not help. When I go to gear in the top right, it only gives me aid, pine to notification and quit smoking. There is no preferences. How can I get rid of this?
