Canon 5 d mark II image problem

Hello

As you can see in the attachment, I get this weird 'Phantom' on my photos. Hope that you can see. It's in the corners,
Is it possible to confirm just with this image, if a good cleaning in a professional store of the sensor will fix this, or it could mean that the sensor needs to be replaced?
Thank you all for your help.

Best regards
Pedro P

Fungus on the sensor. http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3052342

"The fungus usually attaches to the underside of the depression passes the filter , and rarely on the top where you might have a small chance to remove. If you did remove, it will leave a stain on the low-pass filter, a bit like pulling a Creeper on a wall.

Most of the cameras are not worth repair due to the high cost of the sensor/low pass filter and work. »

  • Peuvent Premiere Pro intelligent rendering of a Canon 5 d mark III images?

I've read that Premiere Pro can smart restore some codecs. But I want to know exactly: he's smart can make the video from a Canon 5 d mark III?

In the case rendered intelligent is not very precise: I wonder if it can export the images after the Cup without rencoding it by simply registering the individual images in a new video container with the same codec. This should increase the time to export much.

I ask because I have Premiere Elements and this feature would be the only reason for me to upgrade to the Pro. I currently have needed 40 Minutes to restore the 10 Minutes. As a journalist, I need to be faster.

    Hi jasonts,.

Sorry, QuickTime H.264 files have no intelligent rendering capability. Smart rendering capability is only available for some formats. I wrote a blog about it here: nd-later http://blogs.adobe.com/kevinmonahan/2012/10/11/smart-rendering-in-premiere-pro-cs6-6-0-1-a /

Note the codecs that have the ability of smart rendering in first Pro CC have been added in the original post.

    Thank you

  • Canon 5 d Mark III RAW problem

Hi guys. My version of the LR5 ceased to recognize the RAW files from my Canon 5 d Mark III on import - ideas? Cheers - Tom

You try to import directly from the camera or a card reader? Direct the camera setting was known to be a bit flaky, so if you do this try a card reader instead.

  • Canon 5 d Mark ii Images with the value of the white balance fixed. When they are imported into Lightroom, the value is different.

If I take a shot with the fixed value of 5200K WB (5 d Mark ii) and import into LR 2015.2.1, happens to 4850K. No presets or applied adjustments.

No idea why? How can I solve this problem?

    Rich

All raw converters use four multipliers of white balance RGGB tinted and embedded in the raw file EXIF data to set the white balance and 'calculate' the temperature values displayed inside the module development LR WB.

Scroll down to the "White Balance" section of the DCRAW tutorial PDF here: GUILLERMO LUIJK > TUTORIALS > DCRAW TUTORIAL it's all so raw converters all the rest of the white raw file and 'calculate' the temperature and tint values.

Here is a Canon 5 d MKII CR2 file with the White Balance adjustment 'in the know' behind closed doors:

    (Data EXIF Maker Notes)

The setting "As Shot" WB in LR shows a Temp of 4800 reading, which should produce a slight visual difference that the planned in-camera closed 5134 parameter, correct?

However, with the LR settings file, "As Shot" above the white balance CR2 is the JPEG file in camera perfectly on my Canon 5 d MKII (raw + JPEG file format). It's just that Temp readings do not, because they are "calculated" four RGGB multipliers. Each raw (LR, opening, C1) converter will probably show the values of temperature and tint different, since they are derived by using "reverse engineering" of the manufacturer of exclusive camera raw data structure and camera sensor response file.

Keep in mind that the spectral response of the camera is affected by changes in batch. A Canon 5 d MKII body can produce slightly different WB as one another using the same exact settings. Rather than depend on private clos or LR presets use a good white balance card or the ColorChecker Passport to 'calibrate' LR white balance settings standard shooting conditions (daylight, cloudy, Flash, etc.). For critical projects draw card of the white balance at least once for each unique lighting condition. You can then determine the correct inside the LR setting and settings of synchronization of the World Bank through all the images taken with this specific lighting.

    Hi billd,

You cannot import Canon 7 d Mark II images in Lightroom 4 because they are not supported in it.

However, you can access these images in Photoshop CS6 update to version 9.1.1 of Camera Raw: Camera Raw of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 Installer

Reference article: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

    Hi deaweb,

Please upgrade to the latest version of Lightroom CC 2015.6

Make sure that your camera is connected via the 'PC connection' in the Communication tab.

Also note that for 5 d Mark III, a card must be in the camera for attachment to work properly.

See the difficulty of shooting tethered in Lightroom and let us know if this helps.

It simply means that it cannot find enough information in the image to apply a correction. Have you tried to apply a profile and then using the vertical transformation.

  • Canon 5 d Mark III. Images disappear

Canon 5 d Mark III. Pictures on the camera screen but shows show CF card to be empty when it is connected to the computer. Used two CF cards different, same result. I have tried Sandisk Rescue program but no current images were found. Images counter down with or without a CF card inside, but there are some components equal to an image.

You also have an SD card in the camera? Even if you don't think you use, look for your images. Behavior of the 3 to 5 with the two card slots occupied can be very strange. Suppose you said to use the CF card, but to switch to the SD card if the CF card is full or unavalable. Then, suppose you take the card CF - to put it in a card reader, for example. The camera starts the SD card permanently, even if it is disabled at the moment. Then, if you put the CF card, the camera will not return to use it; You must manually set again. This behavior is highly counter-intuitive, not well documented and with no warning.

  • Images of Canon 7 d Mark 2 is not open in Photoshop CS6

Images of Canon 7 d Mark 2 is not open in Photoshop CS6

    Hi Ferdinand12345,

Canon 7 d mark II was included in the ACR 8.7. I advise you to wait for the camera 8.7 gross to release.

In the meantime you can go to labs.adobe.com and download the DNG 8.7 converter and convert the files to DNG and then try to import.

    Thank you

  • Adobe Camera Raw in CS3 has problems with my Canon 5 d Mark II RAW files

Adobe Bridge will import the raw files of CS2 m Canon 5 d Mark II camera card, but it does not create the photo or it will convert to DNG. I want to update the raw reading software, but the update page shows that it updates only in CS4. I'll have to upgrade to CS4 before I can import my new camera?

    ML

Unfortunately for the new 5.4 RAW converter you must buy or upgrade to CS4. Hell, if your in the market and can wait until what CS5 coming out may be better long term. Not sure when CS5 comes out but I suspect min next year? Save you a little money.

  • codec canon 7 d mark ii update

Please can someone tell me when the next update of the codec is scheduled, that supports the canon 7 d mark ii.

I am running windows 7 and using elements 10.

    Hello

The alternatives are to use (a) Adobe to convert your RAW images or (b) use the Canon utilities to convert your RAW images.  Adobe would let you convert. DNG (universal format 'digital negative' Adobe - their version of RAW).  Using the Canon's EOS utility you can convert them to TIFF, which is 16-bit and lossless (if you keep the flexibility of adjustment you want to out an image RAW.)

    http://www.forums.USA.Canon.com/T5/software/Windows-codec-pack-for-7d-Mark-II-CR2-s/TD-p/129804

You could try looking through the catalog, Microsoft Update to the Codec

  • Canon 5 d Mark IV jpg will not import

I shoot RAW + JPG with my Canon 5 d Mark IV. I understand about LR and Canon RAW files impoting again, no problem. However, LR cannot see or import my JPEGs either. No sidecar jpegs, the actual jpeg. I can see them fine with other programs, including win 10, but not with LR. No idea why? I know I can convert files RAw CR2 in TIFF with Canon DPP, but that takes a lot of time and creates a large file.

So my question is why does LR at least see and import jpeg 5 D Mark IV turned in JPG files?

Change the option in the preferences (under the general tab) so that 'Treat JPG files next to raw as separate files files' are TICKED.

  • Canon 5 d mark iv compatibility - WHEN?

I need to be able to process the raw files from my Canon 5 d Mark iv.  I know that I can use the Canon DPP software at the moment, but which requires a whole new program and a stream of learning work.  I'm not too excited to go back and reprocessing of images when Adobe finally bypasses to support this camera.  How long it goes until Lightroom and Camera Raw work with it?  I'd settle for the work of the Adobe's DNG Converter.  At least then I could always use Lightroom.

  • Support of RAW for the Canon 5 d Mk IV images

Just got my camera in today! The new Canon 5 d mark iv! I've been waiting for so long and was so excited to receive. I started shooting at the House to get used to the new features, moved the files to my Macbook and was not able to open them in adobe photoshop or lightroom. I understand the images will be unavailable until the new updates are available. Anyone know how long I have to wait to use my new camera in raw? When new updates come out?

See the thread right next to this one: gross LR with Canon 5 D Mark iv compatibility file format?

Basically, until the next update of Lightroom for support to appear. It is unclear when that will happen. Probably won't take long, but maybe a few weeks to a few months.

Download and install the free DNG from Adobe, 9.5.1 Converter and convert the files to DNG. You can then import into your old version of LR.

You must first copy the images in a folder on your computer and convert them to this folder.
