  This error is that your used ink is full.
  Reset the printer. Press the reset button and hold it while it is. Then, turn it on and press the reset button twice.
  It will go into maintenance mode. Here you can reset your used ink pad. Just follow the instructions and press reset 4 times. Turn on your printer and turns off again and see if it helps.

  I just re-read one of the earlier posts about a similar problem and noted the suggestion of the Expert HP to run CCleaner in the framework to get the software cleaned.  I just (belatedly) followed that advice and voila!  Everything works fine!

  Please, try the following to see if we can solve your problem:

  1. turn off the printer.

  2 disconnect the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes.

  3. once unplugged, remove any paper from the device.

  4. check for obstructions in the paths of the unit or the paper.

  5 If no obstacles are, plug the power back in and switch on the device.

  Please try to install your PIXMA MG2520 the use of the driver available on the Canon Website:

  1. visit the Web site at: http://usa.canon.com/support

  2 type PIXMA MG2520 in the box "enter a model name.

  3. under recommended downloads, please click on the Select button next to ' MG2500 series full driver & software package.

  4. If you agree, please select the check box next to "I read and agree to the terms of the disclaimer and wish to continue the download.

  5. click on the download button.

  6. If a save as appears, click Save.

  7. once the download is complete, open your download folder.

  8. double-click on [win-mg2500-1(1)(a) - ucd.exe].

  9. connect the USB cable when prompted.

  Follow the prompts to install your PIXMA MG2520 on your computer.

  Method 1:

  This is due to the UAC. Disable UAC will help because UAC prompts the user the permission to continue, the time required to get the question and answer that cause the printer to turn it off.

  Maybe someone can help me with an error code 0001, 0002 problem I installed a Canon Pixma MX455 printer to my Windows 8 PC by LAN network and all is well. Then I tried to install it on my Windows 7 wife's PC by using the CD Canon but gor the error message above. I contacted Canon who advised to uninstall the old drivers and installation using this link

  I used GhostBuster to uninstall the old drivers and tried the link but got the same error code message. I contacted Canon once again, but they siad, it must be a mistake by Microsoft and communicate with you.   Method 1:

  Check in Device Manager if the Canon Pixma MX-455 drivers are listed, also see if there is no mark of exclaimation on it.

  (a) move Panel.

  (b) then open Device Manager.

  (c) under the print queue to see if you are the Canon Drivers.

  (d) also check if you hav any Yellow Exclamation on the Canon printer drivers.
