Canon Pixma MG5420 on Windows 8

Trying to install Canon Pixma MG5420 on Windows 8 and get the message "Canon Easy-WebPrint EX is not compatible with Internet Explorer and is temporarily disabled.

'Canon Easy-WebPrint EX' is a plug-in for Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9. It is not compatible with the version of IE that is included with Windows 8 (v10.x).

The printer does work otherwise?

  • Problem Canon PIXMA MP760 and Windows 7

    Hello.

I just installed Windows 7 and tried to connect my printer (Canon PIXMA MP760). He finds some drivers it cost but it showd a mistake and this seems to be the main engine.

I have also tried to download driver from here https://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=Canon%20PIXMA%20MP760%20Photo%20All-In-One%20Printer&v=Canon&uid=9792A005&pf=0&pi=4&c=Printers%20%26%20Scanners&sc=Multifunction&os=32-bit

But when he took out and so now he appears just "check the connection of the cable between the printer and the computer... blabla".

I tried to reconnect the printer, enable/disable, restart the pc, checked the cable connection +++ but I can't make it work.

When I go to devices and printers, I see that the scanner of the printer part appears as a device, but not the printer itself.

Someone has any advice on what to do to get it working?

EDIT: I also tried to install the printer on another computer with windows 7. Same problem there. :(

    Hi printerhelp,

Please do not forget to go to the Canon website to download the software and drivers for Windows 7, as the two look update:

    http://www.USA.Canon.com/consumer/controller?Act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=334&ModelId=11010

If this isn't your correct printer, you should be able to look it up directly on the Canon site.

    I hope this helps!

  • Impossible to install the CD for printer Canon Pixma MG5320 on Windows 8

Windows 8 is a strange beast!

Just bought a Canon Pixma MG5320 to go with my new Inspiron 2330 Touch all-in-one printer...
After SEVERAL TRIES, it will not download CD Canon!  Somehow, with the USB printer, it will print BUT I can't analyze;  not the end of the world, but I pay $100 + $ for the 3-in-1 printer and would like to get some use out of it other than the printer option.
There, can someone help me? It's the guest who stops at all of the company:
"DRIVER IN USE. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE PRINTER DRIVER, IT CAN BE USED BY OTHERS ON THIS COMPUTER.  QUIT ALL APPLICATIONS AND THE PROPERTIES OF THE PRINTER, AND THEN TRY AGAIN.
IF YOU STILL HAVE A PROBLEM, RESTART THE COMPUTER, AND THEN TRY AGAIN. »
    Well... that has not worked.
    Always prints.  No sweeping.
    Little help!

I had the same error: printer in use driver. If you're not... bla... bla...

    My printer is Pixma MG3170

Here's what I tried and it worked for me:

    1. go to usa.cannon.com and download the respective printer for your printer driver

    2. run

Note: it takes time for the whole installation to complete, but be patient.

    Rgds,

    Andy

  • Canon Pixma MG5420 is not compatible with Windows 8

When I install the software, my laptop can detect the printer and finishes the installation, but the network configuration of the printer driver will always fail. The printer is easily connected to my network. I can use the webprint my smartphone app - fantastic print of the photo, but my office or my cell phone (the two Windows 8) can print even a test page - driver is still not available.
I also tried the USB Setup. It seems to work but I still get this error: "program could not load the required component and it will put end. Please reinstall your software." I uninstalled the software several times, shut down the PC, reinstalled the software, all to nothing does not. I can see the printer in the devices with the usb or wsd drivers Manager, but it is not available to any program.
Setup has failed by using the disc that came with the printer and the file downloaded from Canon: mp68-victory-mp5400-1_01 - ejs.exe.
I returned the printer to the seller.

    Separated from this thread.

    Hello

Windows Update is grayed out (disabled) by my administrator. It is because they do not want MS update 74000 world machines to be updated without testing what the effect of patches). However, add a personal printer to our laptops is not against the policy of the company. So now, I have a printer that is useless for the work, because there is no right way to download the drivers?

    Hello

You can try to contact Canon directly to see if they can provide the driver directly-

  • I can't access my CanonMX3 printer (Canon Pixma MX320 Series) of my computer running Windows 7, since I've changed in Windows XP.

I REALLY NEED HELP TO CONNECT MY PRINTER TO MY COMPUTER OVER ETHERNET NETWORK!

I am too having the same problem. But when my Windows 7 detects the printer (Canon Pixma MX30 Series), it says: "cannot connect to the printer access denied." in another window that says: "connection to CanonMX3 on...» Driver search. I installed the drivers in normal installation and also while in Windows Explorer.

I'm running an T3304 eMachine with concert 1.3 gig RAM 2.0 GHz 100 HARD drive. When I was running Windos XP, I had no trouble to run my printer on my computer. The printer is connected to another computer and I access it through the other computer via ethernet gateway. My ethernet gateway is a Desktop Switch ProSafe NertGear 120/100 5 - port.

I did everything as I would have done it all by running Windows XP and also used the Windows 7 help files. Everything I read that I made and I am still unable to connect to the printer and print. I went as far as hanging the printer on my computer, and that day, I was actually able to print even if it's with erors. I contacted Canon and downloaded the new drivers for Windows 7 and still no luck.

When I ran Windows XP I would install the printer on my computer and I have it print to a file and it would be later configuration of the port it to connect through. I have also tried this and no luck.

What operating system is the computer that has the printer connected to the current?

Also check the permissions on the printer... is the username of the Win7 PC added to this?

Successful installation, drivers - updated, then went to print and nothing - message in the printing of the error box.

I can't restore anything to an earlier time, as I said it's a full system reinstall. Can anyone help

    Hello

If this isn't a driver problem there is a problem of setting or material and you
    need to contact Canon.

As Canon OEM is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their
drivers provided. Check with Canon support, online documentation, and
    drivers.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

Hello, would you please let me know that the Canon pixma mx392 printer can use for windows 7?

    Thank you!

The best way to get an answer to a question like that is always on
check the web site of the manufacturer of the printer, to see if a pilot
There are for this printer on this operating system.

In this case, I looked on the Canon web site for you. Yes, the pilot
There are, and so you can use it with Windows 7 (and Windows
    (8).

  • Windows 7 can not find .inf driver for Canon Pixma iP4000 printer connected to Windows XP.

I have a laptop running Windows 7 (64-bit machine) I want to print from.  The laptop is on a home network wireless.  The office is wireless as well and is running Windows XP.  The Office has a Canon Pixma iP4000 printer connected with a parallel cable.  I installed the latest XP drivers for the printer on the desktop.  The laptop can connect directly to the printer with a USB cable and drivers will download automatically and it will print correctly.  However, I can't connect the printer using the wireless system.  I can go on the laptop to the home network and navigate to the printer and try to install.  It makes an automatic search and says that it cannot find the correct drivers.  I can browse to the file to install on my desktop, but it of an .exe file and not. INF.  I run the .exe file and it installs too, but Setup of printer on the laptop won't let me not by the .inf screen add to complete the installation of a wireless printer.

    Any suggestions?

Very probably the XP driver name is different from the name of 64-bit driver.  Create a Local Port which copies the data to the print size in Windows 7.

Here is an article knowledge base how to the names of the incompatible drivers.  Replace the Windows 7 machine for NT4 machine referenced in the article.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/282842

If you load the printer driver 32-bit on your 64-bit computer, you need the 32-bit driver for Windows 7.  You can do if you have a 32-bit computer of Windows 7 on the network to push pilots up to the machine that is sharing the printer.  None are flat files on the Windows 7 DVD, you need to install the OS or mount the ISO.

The key to successful sharing between computers that run different printing architecture processors is pilot name.  PCL6 equal NOT PCL 6.
