Canon Powershot SX60 HS video performance in the dark?

When I shoot videos inside, not too dark really, with 1920 x 1080 (60 p), noises occur in the world. I tried it tuning at 1920 x 1080 (30 p), but it does not capture the delicate image that I wanted to. How to improve his performance in the dark? Thank you.

The 700 d EOS would be a very nice and capable camera that will surpass the SX60 in low light. Don't forget that the objective of the kit comes with the camera is a F3. 5 - 5 6 18-55 mm and that it would not perform as well as a lens that is F1.8, F2.0, F2.8. The more F is small, the aperture and so, the best performance in low light. The downside is that the price increases considerably with the smallest F number. I would like to get the lens with the smallest F number that you can afford. The kit lens will always be better than the objective on the SX60, but of course you will not have the same zoom range. There are some EOS kits 700 d that have two objectives as part of the package, with a 18-55 and 50-250 goals, for example, but again, they are usually on F3.5 or at best. The EOS 650 d is the old model of Canon, but still available, and some feel in fact that it is a better deal. Whatever it is, the low light performance is infinitely better than the small sensor cameras.

  • After Windows updates Feb 10-11, I "bmmp" noise in my audio which effects my audio/video performance.

    * Original title: System Restore

    Windows 7 Home Premium

    Dell XPS L502X

    Intel Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz

    8 GB RAM

After Windows updates Feb 10-11, I "bmmp" noise in my audio which effects my audio/video performance. The video freezes for a split second. I tried system restore several times, but my computer could not be restored to several dates I've tried. If I do not solve the problem today, tomorrow morning I'll try an advanced recovery method. I have a Windows 7-64 bits of the operating system at the same time, graphics cards Intel and Nividea. I had this same problem several times since I got the computer (Dell). Dell has replaced some hardware. Previously, he was my Western Digital external hard drive software that caused the problem. After that I deleted the software from the computer, the problem has been resolved.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get the system restore to work? Or another suggestion that might help solve the problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

    This can help you:

    1. If you are using Norton, you should disable Norton inviolable Protection before using the system restore.

    http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/sharedtech.nsf/pfdocs/2005113009323013

AVG will cause problems with SR too.

    «Temporarily disable AVG»

    2. try to use Safe Mode system restore.

"Start your computer in safe mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

3 Malware will stop at the system restore.

And some information for you about Windows updates:

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.

You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:

'Remove an update - Windows 7'

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/remove-update#1TC=Windows-7

When you have found the issue of update of the list of updates which is presented > then right click on the update problem > select Hide update > and it will not be available to you once again

"Understanding Windows Update and Extras in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

    Or the other of these two update settings will give you the chance to see what you want to install through Windows updates;

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

But remember you normally only have problems with hardware 3rd party drivers. Other updates are to improve the Performance and security of your system

  • Canon powershot sx500 video shot at a concert. The audio is overmodulating

Hello I used the sx500 Powershot.  Love for still images.   Try shooting video at a concert.  The audio was overmodulating.   The volume of the camera can be lowered?  What do you suggest me?

    Thank you

    Dawn B

    Hi dawnbelotti!

Thank you for posting.  The PowerShot SX500 is a great camera for still shooting and video most of the conditions that do not involve very high level of shooting.  However, you can not get the highest audio quality when a concert recording, which can have high levels of volume.  There is not a parameter setting of the camera for the entry level of the microphone of the camera, so it is difficult to compensate for such a high volume level.

  • Satellite P100 PSPAD: could not update the BIOS 3.8 and a poor video performance

    Hello

I have a video performance of bad quality on my machine as well as the fan power of the issues.

To add to my frustration the WinPhlash program included in the BIOS version 3.8 empty out trying to flash which gives a PHLASHNT. SYS failed to load the message with different error codes (codes 5 and 147 depending if I launch the exe, as it is extracted from the ZIP, or run the files extracted independently).

I checked all permissionings on the record and I definitely full control - but still a generic message of "check your accounts, if you do not have permissions please log in again!" is displayed.

Do you mean during the import process?

There is no FCP X parameter to change the way THAT DV is imported.

I used to hear the audio import with Sony cameras but Canon may be a different story.

If the imported files are OK, then it can be a thing of Protocol firewire Canon.

  • Canon PowerShot S2 IS. The camera window does not work on Windows 7

On my old computer I installed software for the Canon PowerShot S2 IS and it allowed me to download the photos by using the function "window of the camera."  Let me clarify that I wanted the date taken in the name of the file of the photo.  On my new computer with windows 7 if I can see that the camera is connected when I click on 'My computer', but when I use the camera window to download it says that it cannot detect the camera.

    The info might be useful:

The next document in Canon indicates that
"CameraWindow is no longer included in ZoomBrowser EX 6.6.0b or later.

He goes on to say the following:

"CameraWindow is available on the CD-ROM as a separate module. If necessary,
install CameraWindow from the CD-ROM supplied with the product. Note: the
Serial number of your Canon product (camera, printer, etc.) is required to
    Download this file.

Here's how to access this info... go to the following link:

    http://usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_g_series/powershot_s2_is#DriversAndSoftware.

Left click the "choose an operating system:" move the window, select Windows 7.

    Left click 'software '.

Left click the button 'Download' for "ZoomBrowser EX 6.6.0b Application"

This will display all the information on the download.

Also... an updated version was published on 30/03/11

Just a guess but maybe it would be interesting to try to install the update and
then reinstall CameraWindow from the CD provided with the camera.

Personally, I just download the pictures and rename them myself

Name with the date change can be done easily in a batch

Select the group from the newly downloaded (highlighted) and click with the right button on the first
    thumbnail or file name.

    In the menu... Choose... Rename...

The name of the first file... Type of...

    08/09/2011 (10001) .jpg

Press on... Enter and the remaining files will be renamed.

  • Update for Windows 7 (I think) won't allow my computer to find the Canon PowerShot 610

This week, I was using my Canon PowerShot 610 and then the next day my computer would not recognize it. I would have thought that the problem was with my camera, except that my computer recognizes either - his camera on one of our computers. I have Windows 7, my husband has Windows xp.  I fooled with my anti-virus software, and I don't think that's the problem. There must be a Windows problem. If anyone has a solution, I'd be really grateful help. Thank you.

    Hello

Thanks for asking! If I understand correctly, you are faced with questions your camera have recognized. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Before you continue troubleshooting, I would like to collect some personal information.

    1. have there been recent changes to the system before the show?

2 is the issue limited to specific device?

    3. how you connect the camera to the computer?

    4. have you tried to connect the camera to a different USB port?

I suggest you to connect the device to a different USB port and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Follow the link, run the hardware and devices troubleshooter. Check if it helps.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

  • Windows 8 can't open video recorded on the Canon FS300

I recorded a video on my Canon FS300 and when I try to open the file I get this message: is unable to play, this element has been encoded in a format that is not supported by your version of Windows

The video is on an SD card and when I discover the content of the map it shows as a MOD file.
I would be grateful to anyone who helps advise how I can open the file. Thank you

    Hi Carolyn,

    1. the application or program that you use to open the file?

    2. are you able to play other video files on the computer?

3 is the issue limited to the video file on the SD card?

Most JVC Camcorders and video cameras record video clips with the MOD file extension. However, the files actually use much more common MPEG2 and MPEG-1 compression technology. By default, Windows Media Player cannot play a JVC Camcorder MOD files.

Windows Media Player does not support. Files MOD. see the following article for confirmation.

Information on the types of media files that Windows Media Player supports (applies to Windows Media Player 12): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316992

I suggest that rename you the extension is a mod in .mpg and check.

I suggest you use your favorite search engine and the search for the program that converts files is a mod.

Note: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Response with the State of the question and we will be happy to offer you our help.
