  If you haven't already done so, try to reset the printing system. This will require you to add the machine, which must use the correct drivers. Did you check Canon Website for drivers of Mavericks?

  I just bought this machine and I am unable to get current drivers for Windows 7 x 64 to work. Cannon wrote it's the operating system, HP says it is the Scanner Software. Any help for this problem. The drivers have been downloaded from the Canon website.

  Canon claimed she had drivers for Win7 x 64?  I guess they did as you must refer to the version 16.0.1 so exactly what did say to blame the operating system [the two certifying their pilots as being compatible with Win7x64 & blame the BONE seem to be contradictions].

  I guess HP is the manufacturer of your PC.  I would say that you go only to get a resolution back to Canon & solve the compatibility problem.  They have a users Forum?

  You have the latest version of the canon software? They have released an update to the driver for scanner in December.

  Unfortunately, only the print function will work in the USB port on the airport routers... If you have a compatible printer.

  Of the advanced features such as copy, scan, Fax, maintenance, etc. are not supported on routers airport on all-in-One devices or stand alone products.

  I use a Mark II of Canon Canoscan 9000F scanner to scan documents and copy them into the HP LaserJet Pro 400 451dn color laser printer.  I use the 'Copy' button on the front of the scanner function.  When a color or photo document is scanned this way the red and blue colors are reversed when it comes to the printer off.

  Both the scanner and the printer work perfectly in all other situations.

  Somehow the red and blue colors are to be swapped when a document goes to the scanner to the printer.

  I called the Support Canon technique and they told me that they have never heard of this problem and have never had it reported before.  When you use the "Copy" button function there is no setting that can be done. The scanner copy what he sees.

  So why the red and blue are exchanged on the printer?

  What happens if you scan the document itself to the computer and then print the scanned copy? If it is ok, then the question must be the scanner software which sends the document to the printer and has nothing to do with the printer. Sorry, but it's a hot issue.

  My desktop (Vista) does not recognize my new CD of scanner (CanoScan 9000F) program.  No Autorun and the file does not appear.  My laptop (Win7) shows all the files correcly, including AutoRun. The displayed files on the drive CD of my desktop are completely different from those displayed on the reader of my laptop using the same disk progr. I had the same problem with other programs.

  How can I get my desktop to recognize the program on the CD?

  You could try to go to the manufacturer's Web site for the scanner and see if they have a Vista-specific software that you can download.

  I use a canoscan 9000F to analyze my old negatives directly in EPS via file > import.

  Now that I've updated my PSE 8 to 11 that my scanner shows not to import more.

  How can I fix it?

  Adobe recommends the WIA supported for all modern scanners, but if you need the legacy plugin do the following:

  Copy the folder to import-export of:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Photoshop elements 11\Optional Plug-Ins\

  In

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Photoshop elements 11\Plug-Ins\

  Note: the files of program on 32-bit systems

• Full PSE9 - print edition problem

  When I try to print from the full edit page, I click on file, then print and the print page appears. I select the correct printer, press Print and the fax menu appears. I prefer print to full edit instead of starting from the Organizer. I have a CanoScan 9000f installed, but I scan directly to the PSE, I scan to my computer and open the pictures of the PES. This could be the problem or is there another solution? I can't print to full edit with any image, scanned or not.

• CanoScan 9900F scan negative film

  I'm working on the 2011 Macbook Pro, El Capitan.

  CanoScan 9900f is able to scan negative films. Scannersoftware is Twain. I scan from PhotoshopElements 8. I installed the software Elements with Maverick and it worked well. After the update to El Capitan, I had problems. When you scan a strip of film with negatives of exhibit no. 6 of the scanningproces stops when the first image is scanned. I can restart switching to another program (eg Finder) and return to PhotoShop elements/scaning of switching. Then, 2 photo number is scanned, saying that photo 2/6 is scanned. Same procedure to scan photo 3. Until the 6/6 is scanned. and the trial ends telling me to change the images in Photoshop.

  Is it posible to make I work on the new iOS 10.5 or should I reinstall Maverick?

  I would say you have a compatibility issue. The 9900F is out 13 years ago and the latest driver Canon made available for Mac OS X 10.4. If you had it working on the Mavericks then you seek this OS installed again, either as a virtual machine or the second partition on your Mac or your external hard drive.

• El Capitan degrades the OS functionality

  I installed El Capitan 10.11.2. Update went well, no problem. Since then, however...

  Scanner CanoScan 4400f is no longer supported. Canon 5 d mk3 camera is no longer recognized and Photos usurps my favorite Adobe Bridge and Adobe Downloader. Office 2011 for the freeze, especially Excel. Drives external hard not eject properly. Looks like an old Windows machine now. No warning before the update of devices may no longer work.

  All solutions, or any way to roll back to the Mavericks? I had not bothered with an upgrade to Yosemite and with an old computer thought that the installation of El Capitan can be the last OS update I'm likely to be able to do.

  2008.2.8GHz end of the MacBook Pro Intel Core Duo. 8 GB of memory. 320 GB of storage.

  To check compatibility first before upgrading:

  Adobe Bridge CS5 is compatible (2-5, or 6: unknown, probably)

  MS Office 2011 is compatible.

  When you load the latest Canon drivers: compatible.

  You have software in SystemPreferences-> users & groups-> LoginItems?

  If Yes: delete all, with the sign less below.

  Reboot and see if it's better, start one app in time to see how it works.

• No service after upgrade the server to 5.2 on El Capitan

  I have a web server that was doing very well until I left the 5.2 update suggested to install OS X Server. I can't get to broadcast web pages. Screen sharing works always and nothing has changed on the routers, etc.

  I restarted the server after the update and restarted the server itself several times but keep getting connection via a browser failures.

  I did the upgrade even on other servers as well as the upgrade of Sierra. This server is running El Capitan, and is the only one that gave me problems. 5.2 server is not compatible with El Capitan?

  Some additional info:

  I can connect to the server through ftp and other services; just no web service.

  Port tests show that port 80 is not blocked

  Using the IP address I can get to the window of the home server.

  Accessibility means no services available

  Websites is on and I can't find anything that is not defined in law or is different than before the update.

  If I posted my check and reports being panic, could someone tell me what caused random freezes and restarts on my iMac 5 K - ish, El Capitan running? I am a designer/Retoucher and I am in the middle of a big job, of course.

  He went on and off for a few months. I have cleared my startup disk and played fresh OS installs (didn't even use Migration Assistant just to be safe), three times. I installed apps one at a time try to refine what is the cause but could not.

  At first I thought it was my mouse Logitech G502 because when I went to an old mouse for a few weeks the problem has disappeared. But yesterday, listening to iTunes via Airplay and working in InDesign, the system froze again.

  I wonder if she might be SoftRAID(4) and/or my two RAIDs of 4 external ThunderBay?
