Toshiba? If you leave your mouse at the top of the screen Flash cards come down?

Reboot - it works now?

Start - all programs - Toshiba - Utilities - restart Flash Cards.

If you have to re-download the Package of added value of Toshiba. Check with Toshiba support

  • Satellite Pro P300-1EC - cannot get wireless to work

    Hello!

First of all. Excuse me for my English!

    TEC Spec.

    Toshiba Satellite Pro P300-1EC
    Intel WiFi Link 5100
    Windows XP Pro SP3

I have a big problem. I can't get the wireless LAN working properly.
And the customer has purchased this computer because his old computer stopped working with WLAN...

I tried everything I can. And I am a person of educated tech, so I think I should have the knowledge of this, but I do not have.

    Short version.

    1. install the latest drivers. (Also tried more aged)
    2 restart the computer.
3 WNIC takes about 10 min to find WLAN.
    4. While working perfect with 130Mbps on project N.
5.i can user logout and change and all.
    6. when I restart I'm back at number 3.

    Long version:

I installed XP pro since the XP downgrade Cd included and wireless drivers wasn't on that CD so I downloaded them. (And Yes. "This is the correct drivers.)
After that I installed the driver and restart my computer, I could not find wireless networks. Kind of weird because I have 4 routers/points of WLAN on my company with the range 60-100% and about 3 other public routers without security. I tried to update the drivers to windows update, and WU has found an update for me. I installed driver and the wireless highlight function. I scream YES and restart the computer. Then it stopped working. N° !!!
I was a little tired on the problem and began installing some other computers that I bought and when I looked the Toshiba computer that I saw that it was connected to my WLAN. Weird, but I thought it worked then I restart the computer again and then his does not work... again! Now, I have analyzedthe problem and it's like that.

When I start the computer the my WNIC does not any WLAN.
About 10 min (10m32s) after starting the wireless started working.
I am able to disconnect and change the user and it still works, but as soon as I restart the computer it stops and I have to wait another 10 minutes. And so on.

Anyone been trough something like this even if it is not not toshiba or my model?

    Hello

What is the Satellite Pro P300 - 1EC BIOS is up-to-date?
    Please check everything first.

You said you are using Draft N did you tried to establish the WiFi connection using other standard WLan as 802.11 A or G?

I also recommend changing the WiFi channel and try other channels.

In addition, you can change a WLan option that affects the WLan functionality. You can find these settings in the Device Manager-> card WLan-> properties-> Advanced tab

    Good bye

  • SP A60: Can't get wireless to work

I got my A60 SP for a year and have only just tried to use the use wireless. I'm unable to connect to a wireless network and yet all indications are that the wireless port works correctly.

My card is a SMC IrCC fast infrared port SP1, I checked that it has been activated by the Device Manager (although my documentation indicates that there is a switch on the side of the laptop to activate the card, it is non-existent on my unit).

Has anyone else had the same experience? Is there any other action, I must take to activate the port?

    Hello Mike

Sorry, but I'm a little confused about your ad. Are you talking about infrared or wireless connection?

What you want to do exactly? You have a wireless card and it appears in the device under network adapter Manager?

  • printer change ip address removed ePrint account cant get back from work

Photosmart Premium C410 fine woking with e-print. I had to change the IP address and also forgit r = the email address, I want to just start over. I logged into my account eprint and removed the printer. I disabled the webservices on the printer. Now I can not yet enable web services on the printer. Every time I try it tells me that it cannot connect to the server. It is connected wireless and an excellent resistance and printing from PC works fine. I tried resettimng to factory default on the printer, but no change. How to reset a new IP address to an e-printer e-mail address and/or how to enable web services again on the printer?

The steps below a usually resolve the problem you are experiencing:

    1. unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.

    2. unplug the power cord at the back of your router (and the modem, if they are separated from the router).

    3. wait 20 seconds, then plug the router (and the modem, if necessary) in.

    4. wait for 30 seconds, then plug the printer back and power.

    5. press the button on the front of the printer ePrint, and it should try to connect to Web Services again.

These steps usually fix the problem, but if it persists, you can try definition of network information static for the printer (which is sometimes useful to stabilize the ability of the printer to get outside of your network to the internet):

    1. press the network icon at the top of the screen of the printer and note the IP address.

    2. Enter the IP address in the address bar of a web browser on a computer and press on enter or click the go button browser.

    3. the printer status page must be open.  Click network in the upper part.

    4. Select the Proxy settings.
Note: If you are prompted for a redirect, click OK.  If you receive a certificate warning, select the option that allows you to continue anyway.
If you receive an internal system error, refresh the page until it loads the proxy settings.

    5. check that all fields are empty.  If they are not, make them disappear and make sure that the Proxy Server requires authentication is unchecked and click on apply.  You should get a success message.

    6. click on IPv4 under the good (wired or wireless) connection on the left.
Note: If you only configuring IP address and DNS address with a yellow note Configuration, refresh the page until it loads completely.

    8. leave automatic IP IP address Configuration.

9 change the DNS address to the manual DNS Server Configuration.

    10. enter manual for the manual preferred DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for auxiliary DNS.

    .

At a first visit the Toshiba WLAN Portal under http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/ and make sure that you have installed the latest version of the WLAN driver.

If you have installed Windows XP Home edition on your own, I can imagine there are a lot of things missing that needs to be installed.
Anyway, if you need help let us know.

  • How to validate windows XP and get wireless to work on compaq mini 110 c-1001nr?

My father (86) crashed his compaq mini and it was all blue screen, so I tried to use this recovery software to restore the factory settings, but nothing has worked. a friend suggested from scratch, so to format hard drive and reinstalled windows Xp for him. He worked for a month and now ask you the key product, but when we enter the key at the bottom of the computer it says invalid.

I tried HP support, but I need to connect to the internet to download anything and the wireless is not working.what can I do now?

When I start it up it says windows xp starts and says "the copy of Windows must be activated before you can connect" then we are stuck in the entrance of your product keys page. I click on phone, given that my key does not work and called the number he says and will not let me reset it.

Give Microsoft activation will not take the "reset" answer, youre activation, do not reset.

    That # is 8885712048

In addition, change "internet connection" in the Control Panel, locate the properties of the material change

In addition, change 'internet options '.

In addition, youre pc hardware software/drivers (if based on intel) intel.com will have the necessary downloads,.

Search/drivers/software support, look for the update utility

  • Satellite 1410-604 - get wirless to work

Hey there, I seem to have a problem with my Satellite 1410 604, I got the Briefcase "Toshiba WirelessLanDriver" of the cd as he said it, I followed the instructions, but yet he says that the .msi file is that contains no information about the pilot for some reason I can't get my wireless to work on this pc.

Any suggestions on how I do it?

As far as I know, this is an old series and I could not find any help on a toshiba Web page. so now im going to try out this forum and see if anyone has a suggestions...

    Kind regards.

    Klattrup

    Hello

As far as I know the Satellite 1410 604 was equipped with WiFi, but it's optional.
So maybe your portable computer does not support the wireless network adapter and the WiFi network is not integrated.

Please check first of all in Device Manager if there is a yellow exclamation mark under network adapters, or if the WiFi card is recognized.

If this isn't the case, then this would mean that the WLan card is not in.

  • Cannot get wireless driver to install - how?

    Hello

I just bought a refurbished 2100(te?) tecra notebook and again, I have to get the wifi working. I have a yellow exclamation beside 'Network controller' in the Device Manager on XPSP1 pro. I downloaded what was labeled as a driver on the toshiba site, but when I try to install the windows driver responds with a message stating that the driver does not match my hardware and therefore won't let me install the driver. I also welcomed windows 'Search' for the driver via the internet, of course, it was without result. Please let me know if you have any ideas to solve this problem. Here's the info from the laptop:

    Serial number - 53015241SU
    Part number - PT210U-02D3L72
1.8 GHZ P4, 1 GB DDR, RJ45 (10/100 NIC), RJ11 (modem), integrated 30 GB HD, DVD, wifi (Yes, it should be not only the switch and internal antenna) and other normal stuff.

Any help would be appreciated in the sovereign.

    Thank you

    Hi Jeremy

You later built in wireless card or wireless card has already been built by Toshiba? It is very important to know who is the producer of this wireless card, because different drivers are available for the various producers. Jeremy can you check this?

  • Broadcom Wireless stopped working after Windows updates

    Hello, everyone!

I have a Pavilion dv6000 with wireless network. Everything was OK, but last Monday the blue wireless light was suddenly always amber and me did not have wireless access. These are the facts about my problem:

    * I reset my laptop to factory - wireless configuration works very well

    * Windows Update all installed, but one, updates - wireless works fine

    * I installed the new Windows Live Messenger - WIRELESS STOPED working

    * I uninstalled Windows Live Messenger - wireless works fine

    * Windows Update installed .NET Framework 3.5 (it was the update of Windows I jumped at step 2)-without WIRE EFFONDRES WORKING

And now, my problem is that even if I try to "roll back" to a "restore point" before installing .NET, I get an error and I don't seem to be able to "Uninstall".NET 3.5. On the other hand, the pilot "Broadcom Wireless 802.11 g" has disappeared from the Device Manager and I don't seem to be able to reinstall it, or not reinstalling patches 'HP Wireless Manager' the problem.

    Can you help me, please?

    Thanks in advance,

    Nuno

Work on laptop of my boss's son is having the same issue... I got to work by going into safe mode device manager and delete all references to pci bridge and restart... xp detects the wireless card as well as all pci bridge components and everything is golden... update XP sp3 now and go see if only the pipes still wireless card... will put in day this post when finished... im on xp, but I'm sure it would work for vista too many... questions you can email [email protected]

    * Update *.

Installation of XP Service Pack 3 has made clear the wireless card again... is returned in Manager mode and the security apparatus and remove all references to the PCI subsystem devices except Bus PCI and ISA standard PCI bridge and rebooted and bam wireless card is back... it is quite boring... my recommendation would be to turn the builtin wireless power off and go buy a wireless usb card and do with it...

  • Wireless stopped working, the error message says "this wireless does not work on this computer ' even if another computer at home has no problem with wireless services.

My computer stopped working wireless, the error message says "this wireless does not work on this computer ' even if another computer at home has no problem with wireless services.  I've tried everything and my router is intact.  My Protection of Kaspersky flags are gone from green to red and says threats have been detected. What should I do to get back on the wireless.

original title: Wireless not working not

    Hello

1 have had any changes made on the computer before the show?

    2. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    Method 1:

Check the link and try to run the troubleshooter to check if it helps.

Windows wireless and wired network connection problems

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-Windows

    Method 2:

Try to run Microsoft Safety Scanner for any malware or spyware infection and check if it helps.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Issues with Dell desktop computer wireless and D-Link wireless network card. Only able to get wireless access by checking "Use Windows to configure my wireless network". This kind of file sharing impossible.

original title: can't see the computer on wireless internet!

I hope that's not too much detail, but I would like that the sequence of events to be clear...

I have a Dell desktop computer that's probably six or seven years now.  It did not come with a wireless card, so I bought a DLink router and combo card wireless, install both with the DLink software.  It works beautifully.

Later, we through my rep AT & T DSL, I got a Motorola modem/router with wireless capabilities.  I had plugged directly on my computer Dell desktop and moved to a Dell laptop DLink wireless receiver.  No problems.

The Dell laptop is dead and the DLink receiver has not been used for a long time.  Family of my daughter moved to our place, and I have connected his desktop computers and laptop to wireless internet, using the Windows Connection Wizard.  Still no problem.

I got a new ASUS laptop, I also linked using the Windows Wizard.  STILL no problem.

Now, here's the problem comes.  I moved the Dell desktop computer, connected the DLink wireless receiver to it and I am able to get wireless access ONLY when I go into the properties of PC, click the wireless networks tab and check the "use Windows to configure my wireless network" box.  Then I can connect correctly, but I don't see this computer on my wireless network.  Bad luck... because I want to be able to access share files.  When I try to connect using different assistants of Windows, I get a message to the effect that, if I used another software to connect to the program, I can't use the Windows Wizard.

So, what can I do to remove the original configuration of DLink completely and to connect to my wireless network using the wizards in Windows?  I uninstalled the software of DLink, but it seems to have no effect at all.

BTW, Dell desktop computer is running XP, office computer of my daughter is running VISTA, and two laptops are equipped with Windows 7.  I can see all the computers on the network with the exception of the original Dell desktop computer wireless.

    Any help would be appreciated!
