• iPad storage issue

  I have a 16 GB iPad, but in the settings it says that 11 GB of capacity. I am aware of system files, but thought it was a lot, its 4.3 GB so its loss of 30 percent of storage.

  I only have 72 MB of free space and only have 30 videos, 765 photos and 35 apps on my iPad. How can I check the actual file of these sizes, so I can free up storage.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  I have a Macbook Air processor intel and storage 4 GB, I use iCloud for storing all my data, but recently I had a problem with too much use of my data internet home. We are limited because we live in a rural area. So I guess I have two questions: 1) can I use an external hard drive to avoid having to use my iCloud? and if I do which is the best to use external storage drive? I have a lot of files and photos, I am a real estate agent. I got this Macbook Air since September 2015 still invite us to her also. Next question, can I use another Mac with a bigger hard drive instead of the MacBook Air? My son told me in the Macbook air because of its features, but the storage for me is imperative.   BTW, 4 GBs is the memory of the computer, no storage. MBA come with built-in SSD from 128, 256 or 512 GB capacity. You choose the MBA with the SSD model that best fits. However, once you make the computer cannot be updated.

  (Hard drive in the sky)-based solution to what you think, is that iCloud is a traditional cloud, but in fact, it is not.  It is a system of synchronisation/mirroring, i.e. post all your data and fills in all of your devices is available immediately.

  If you are looking for traditional storage cloud base, you will need to consider options/third-party applications, for example for pictures - Flickr, Dropbox, Google; and for notes - Evernote, Google Dungeon, etc.

  I have a Mac Book Pro. recently, he said that I ran out of storage. When I investigated further my lap top told me that I have almost 80 GB of movies.

  I went threw all the files on my mac and deleted everything related to film and it made no difference.

• 128G iPad storage issues Total

  I have a fairly new 128 GB iPad Pro, who seems to be filling the storage too fast. I have about 25 apps installed and none have a lot of data with the exception of a few TV shows I downloaded from iTunes. When I add up all the data from the listed used applications, it seems that much less that what is reported as used.

  Here is my presentation of storage (a couple really small objects cut). Am I missing something here?

  On my mini iPad 2, I've only used about 2.4 GB of space.  However, my iPad said I used 10.3 GB.  I can't understand what is eating space.  On a side note, even if my iPad is WiFi only, I'm somehow able to play music that is not downloaded to my device, even when I am not connected to WiFi.  There may be some songs that are downloaded, and yet it does not show as in the Section "managing storage?

  I couldn't really find an answer out there on a question about storage on the new ATV4.

  New screensavers Ariel are impressive. As most of you know there is a new option to download new videos daily, weekly, ect...

  Just below it warn you that downloads can take up 600 MB of storage. Considering that I have the 32 GB model, I was curious to see exactly how it works. There is no place in the general settings that show all of the files real screensaver downloaded in order to manually delete to free up storage.

  Are replaced by the new, old screen saver because they are downloaded? Or am I earning the 600 MB each day as a new screensaver downloads? If anyone has any info or advice, I would really appreciate it. Thank you guys!

  Yes, each screensaver is about ~ 200 MB. So if you choose all day every day about 3 new vids are added and 3 yesterday are replaced.  Every month means that you get the same videos every month. There is no 'user management' for storage on the ATV.  It's some people have limits of data and do not want to use their allowance for a change of daily screensaver...

  I just bought the basic plan CC for $9.99 / month. I imported an image 150 and now I'm out of storage. I don't understand how it works? Am I supposed to edit then send them elsewhere? I know this may seem like basic questions, but I hope someone can help. I'm new on this and just to start. TIA

  2G refers to all of the storage space of cloud allotted it under this plan, the portable, mobile, no matter what.  If you need more space than you need to anticipate what it yourself or switch to a different plan that offers more.

  No, you don't have to present LUNS to storage the vCenter Server (if installed on the physical host). It is recommended to have a redundant between the hosts of ESXi and vCenter network connectivity since that is how the pulse information is shared. In most facilities vCenter is a VM and if that's what you have, then you can srtike this step to present LUNS to the vCenter VM. The storage is configured between ESXi hosts and LUNS and vCenter offers a management interface to create/remove the virtual machines on the underlying storage.

• Local storage issue

  Is it possible for me to determine how local storage on one of my guests of ESXi5 has been configured / allocated? I have a HP DL host that has 8 local 146 GB drives and I have a need to re - create the same config.

  I do not set up the host so I'm not sure of the way space has been split. I'm sure it was configuring RAID 5 with a hot spare, but that's all.

  The host is online and I can't restart / consider offline consideration with HP SMart Start.

  Ideas?
