Captioning?

I am trying to integrate the subtitles with my videos for a TV show that issues in our region.

First Pro CC added this feature, but I can't seem to understand how to do this in a mpeg 2 (requested television station)

format. How can I do this or what is my next step?

I'm using Movcaptioner.

any help is appreciated.

Hello - Thanks for posting your question here. We do not support captions with MPEG2 decoding - we focus on import, decoding, and incorporation of subtitles encoded MOV and MXF.

  • What is the latest version of iMovie support closed captioning?

    I would like to make a short film indie that has a function of captioning and wonder if the latest version of iMovie can produce a film with options show/hide legend.

    No it can't.  The "Ticker" title can be useful to display the dialog.

  • I have a large collection of big slideshows in iPhoto, created over the years with captions from the titles of the photos. How can I keep these slide shows subtitled in Photos?

    I have a large collection of big slideshows in iPhoto, created over the years with captions from the titles of the photos. How can I keep these slide shows subtitled in Photos?

    You can't keep slideshows as captioned photos.  Slide shows get migrated in the form of albums for the Group of photos is maintained.  But Photos don't have the ability to add descriptions to the slide show so that they would have to be manually added to each slide automatically.

    However, a possible solution would be to export every slide show in iPhoto as a Quicktime movie file. Which will keep the titles and descriptions on each slide.  The resulting QT files can be imported into the iPhoto library before migration or photo library after.

    Legends works on chrome or safari. Only in Firefox does not work...

    I have Mac OSX Mavericks and Firefox 29.0.1. In my blog, I have a BOX of Facebook as which appears not ONLY in Firefox... Works in Safari and Chrome.

    You can try to start Firefox in Mode safe to see if Firefox works correctly without error? You can start Firefox in Mode safe below:

    • Windows/Mac: choose Help > restart with disabled modules
    • Linux: run firefox-safe-mode in the Terminal/Konsole

    If Firefox opens fine with no problems, it is probably one of your extensions that is causing the problem. You can reactivate your modules one by one until you find the one that is causing the problem to be re-activated.

    You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

    Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • > Options/Preferences > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • > Options/Preferences > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  • Can I change the captioned OS showing Chinese on toolbars, icons

    Hi people,

    Win XP 32 bit (English version)

    Can I change the OS captioned showing Chinese on toolbars, icons etc.

    After playing a bit on "Regional and Language Options" without result.
    I found that I can not "check mark" 'Apply all settings to the current user account and to the default user profile' permanently.
    After-> Apply-> OK-> restart, it unchecked at this point.

    IIRC it is possible. I did it about 9 years ago, when Windows XP came out.
    Any advice? TIA

    Hi mate

    I think you'd need to install a Chinese language pack for Win XP.

  • Why can not display captions Photos?

    I'm on a Macbook running El Capitan 10.11.4, 2013 and Photos 1.5

    I like that you can read the information with a photo in the Photos, but it seems that the pictures show captions (Descriptions) in an album or a slideshow.  I'm trying to scan a lot of my photo albums of scanning photos and download them to store and display photos.  Part of the fun of a real photo album is to write and see the legends.  With Photos, I can write it as a description for the information, but do not see in either the application display modes.  According to others, this was possible with iPhoto, but not with pictures.  What is happening with this?  Seems simple enough!  Who do not have the Photos feature?  If it is not, and will not be, what other application can use, Mac or other?

    Sorry, but we are users just like you, and no one here can answer questions 'why' - 'what' questions

    You say Apple - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html - needs it more applications they get more it is likely that the features will be e added in future versions (have already had many, many major additions since Photo 1.0)

  • captioning for netflix

    How to find or turn on the captioning for streaming netflix on the internet ready Sony Bravia 46EX700 HDTV? I don't see a widget anywhere on the screen that allow subtitling. I tried to put its configuration preferably for captioning, but it has not highlighted when it is fashionable to netflix. With the same movie, I am able to locate the widget to turn on captioning with netflix on a computer Web site or a drive blueray in someone else. I must have captions.

    Yes, I'm having the same problem. I am very disappointed with Sony that they did not create an update on their software to their TVs/BlueRays include closed captioning offered by Netflix.
    My husband cannot watch Netflix with me as he is also hard of hearing.

    I would like to know if they are still working on it, and when they expect to have the patch available for download to enable this feature.

  • WaveFormGraph Studio measurement Axes captions

    Measurement studio waveform axes caption can be changed programmatically?  And if not, then why not?

    Thanks to your solution, so I was able to solve the problem.

    It turns out that the X & Y legends were not part of the waveform curve, but rather a separate xAxis1 and yAxis1 were present in the form1 form. File designer.cs as shown below:

    //
    wfgPLOT
    //
    this.wfgPLOT.Location = new System.Drawing.Point (689, 371);
    this.wfgPLOT.Name = "wfgPLOT";
    this.wfgPLOT.Plots.AddRange (new NationalInstruments.UI.WaveformPlot {]})
    this.waveformPlot1});
    this.wfgPLOT.Size = new System.Drawing.Size (754, 337);
    this.wfgPLOT.TabIndex = 15;
    this.wfgPLOT.UseColorGenerator = true;
    this.wfgPLOT.XAxes.AddRange (new NationalInstruments.UI.XAxis {]})
    this.xAxis1});
    this.wfgPLOT.YAxes.AddRange (new NationalInstruments.UI.YAxis {]})
    this.yAxis1});
    //
    waveformPlot1
    //
    this.waveformPlot1.XAxis = this.xAxis1;
    this.waveformPlot1.YAxis = this.yAxis1;
    //
    xAxis1
    //
    this.xAxis1.Caption = 'number of readings;
    //
    yAxis1
    //
    this.yAxis1.Caption = "value";

    Thus, the following provided the solution.

    change the default wave shape chart follows the legend of the axis

    wfgPLOT.Caption = sTableName;
    xAxis1.Caption = plotXlbl;
    yAxis1.Caption = plotYlbl;

    Thanks again

  • Add a caption to a picture in Word

    Hey everybody,

    Does anyone know how to add a caption to a picture in word by using the Toolbox to generate report for the Office? I got in what concerns the addition of a line of text before but I'm looking to add it to the place as a legend under.

    Thanks in advance,

    Anthony

    Something like this will work for you.  Make sure that all text put you in the field of the label is already added to the collection in Word, in the case otherwise there will be error.  Word preserves a collection of these labels, which can be accessed programmatically by using the object of applications and selecting the CaptionLabels property.

    EDIT: updated image to show the CaptionLabels property.

  • Annotation caption size

    Is it possible to change the size of the font on a caption annotation? The text is tiny and very difficult to read, and I want to expand it.

    I thought about it. Simply create a new police force and put the Annotation.CaptionFont this new font.

  • Get the position of Caption Annotation

    Hello

    How can I me caption annotation position?

    Hello

    To get the location of the legend of Annotation in graph coordinates, you must get the which and YPosition of the annotation, and then use ScatterPlot.MapDataPoint to convert these coordinated positions of the device and add the CaptionAlignment.XOffset and none of these two values.  You can then return to graph using InverseMapDataPoint coordinates.

  • Transparent caption on slider

    Hello

    I wish I could use my slider, even when a text is above it. Right now, I can not access the cursor in the text box. How can I move the cursor, even when I catch on the text box? Thank you

    Alex

    Two ways to skin this cat:

    (1) customize the slider control, place a free label in the tray.  Move the slider so that it overlaps the free label (label is on top).  Select the label and move it back until the cursor is on the free label.  Now, the z-order is defined, in this case the cursor moves to the text which, to me, seems ok.

    (2) show the legend and put it in the position you want on the slider.  Add a structure of the event.  Add a mouse down? (Notice the?) event, in this case to hide the legend.  Add a mouse event to the bottom and in this case show the caption.  When you run the VI all clicks will grab the slider.
