Captivate 7 HTML5 "Loading"... "error in Internet Explorer 11

We are now in the creation of Captivate HTML5 projects include MP4 video on some slides.  Once published and uploaded to our server, the slides with video will be occasionally and randomly (it does not happen all the time) "hang up" with a "Loading" grey... "screen on top.  This essentially freezes the unit and you can not continue.  This only seems to happen in Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I use 7 Captivate.

I worked through other bugs that are produced in Chrome and Firefox, but it lingers still to explore.

The "loading" animation shows the video is buffering and which is usually a sign that your current bandwidth of the end-user is not high enough to keep the bitrate of the encoded playback video.

In other words, if the video is encoded at 300 kilobits per second reading and your internet bandwidth to the destination computer is not at least 300 kilobits or more, so unless you use a preloader, you will find at some point the video will buffer.  The percentage of preloader helps to overcome the shortfall to some degree.  If the video still stops at halfway and buffers, then you must increase your bandwidth or increase your percentage preloader.

There are a few other variables, but these are the most important.

    Hello

Sorry we don't communicate via this forum.

You need a real antivirus because these are the two antispyware. You have the PCtools antivirus
on the computer or just their toolbar in Internet Explorer?

    -------------------------------------------------

If there is no antivirus on the computer here is what I use and recommend (except for one
program like Prevx, you don't want more than one antivirus on the computer program
much less running because they interfere with each other and lower security). Each combination
of her below you will warn of malware without toolbar from PCtools running online.

Here's what I use and recommend: (these are alll free and very effective versions.)

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with all I have
launched on them. Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven to be very
reliable and compatible. Use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx 3 but not all.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except leaving Standard, Web, and
    Operation of the network.

    Prevx - Home - free

    Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

    Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(It may temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom
    right of IE)

Two versions of Avast are available 5.x and 4.8 x

Avast - home - free - 5.x stop shields you do not use (except files, Web, network, &)
Shields of behavior) - double click on the icon in the Notification area - real time Orange - click on the
Shield that you want to stop - STOP. To stop the Orange icon to show an error indicator-
Click on the Orange icon - top right - settings - click on the status bar - uncheck shields you
    disabled - click OK
    http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

Avast 4.8 x - home - free - stop shields, you don't need except leaving Standard, Web,.
and the network running. (Double-click the blue icon - look OK. - upper left - Shields details
    Finish those you don't use).
    http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download#TAB4

Or use Microsoft Security Essentials - free
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Prevx - home - free small, fast, exceptional protection CLOUD, working with other security
programs. It is a single scanner, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something come back here
or use Google to see how to remove.
    http://www.prevx.com/   <-->
    http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp  <-->

    PCmag - Prevx - Editor's choice
    http://www.PCMag.com/Article2/0, 2817,2346862,00.asp

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever think malware and that
would be unusual with Avast and occasional Prevx running with the exception of a low level cookie
(not much), to UPDATE and then run it as a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they
never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.

  • There was an internal error and Internet Explorer is unable to print this document

Original title: printing problem: I have a Dell AIO 810 and HP computer with windows 7.

I have a Dell AIO 810 and HP computer with windows 7. I installed the driver from Dell, but get the following message when you try to print. "There was an internal error and Internet Explorer is unable to print this document." I ran the troubleshooting, but he could not find a problem. Can anyone help?

    Michie,

To check if a driver/software installed on the computer, you must go to "Control Panel", and then to the section "uninstall a program". Under "Uninstall a program", you will find all of the software including drivers for printers, and then the other devices connected to the computer may be listed.

Because you cannot print any document, I would have you uninstall Dell printer drivers and then try to reinstall drivers it and check if the problem reappears.

Pour desinstaller uninstall printers Dell and associated products to the printer, go through the steps in http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/uninstall-change-program#uninstall-change-program=windows-7

Note: Unplug the printer from the computer and then try to remove the software.

You can even go through the steps in http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/kcsarticles/articleview?docid=266369

  • Get the Internet script error when Internet Explorer is closed

get internet script error, even when internet Explorer is closed. its Web site also comes in my speakers when no one is around the computer? Everyone please help my os is xp home edition

First thing I would do is to restart the system and download MSE and install if you don't the have not already installed. Update and run. Download of Malware bytes and install and run this update from.

Then, you can run chkdsk from the command prompt. Type chkdsk /f at the prompt and press on enter then type y to run check disk on the next reboot. Exit command prompt and restart the system to allow running chkdsk.

Let us know if that fixes it or what the results were.

    Hope this helps,

  • External Interface class causes JavaScript error in Internet Explorer

I'd appreciate any help with this: I need to pass the info of the URL of my pages in my film. But when I use the external Interface in AS2 class, Internet Explorer displays the page OK and directed the film, but it does not have the JavaScript function I call you and gives me an error of yellow triangle of "flash is not defined" in line 1.

I tried the publication of version 8 and version 9 player. And there is no error in Firefox, which runs my JavaScript code and HAVE it all just great. (Yes, big surprise.) The AS code is quite simple...

Holy Batman tracks, you're a God indeed! Flash has been automatically creates the Object and Embed tags when you publish the swf file. But I noticed in your article, when you discussed what punctuation marks were acceptable for the ID, oblique were not among them.

Since the movie is leftmenu.swf and is located in the flash subdirectory, the name and ID that was flash/leftmenu. After mucking, I found that the problem was in the AC_FL_RunContent function (also automatically created when the movie is published). When I changed the 'id' attribute it simply be leftmenu, IE and Firefox have both pleased, and I didn't have to make any other change. Go figure.

    Thank you!

  • Error in Internet Explorer

Some pages loading in IE 8 will produce this error.  MuseJSAsserts the function selector component error type error. PIE is not defined.

I shall publish a Business Catalyst.

I found that an old archived thread that suggested that the pie.js file has been not to export.  I was able to find this file in the file manager in business catalyst.

Any idea on how I can fix this?

    Hello

It is essentially a problem with the path given to the pie.js in the museutils.js file. It is a relative path that IE8 does not read that well. Check the screenshot and add the "/" as I have indicated, that should solve the problem.

  • Script error Internet explorer when opening my pictures folder

Anytime I open the folder my pictures or any subfolder in my pictures, I get this error message.
The URL for this error message is: file:///C:/hp/EXPLOREBAR/main.js
I tried to update the computer and checking any virus.  Internet Explorer is not yet running at the moment.

    Hi faith,.

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not still in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

Method 2: Scan the file system (CFS) auditor to repair corrupted files.

Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe)

Method 3: Performs a search using the Microsoft safety scanner.
