Capture processes running windows OS.

Hello world

I want to capture the active processes running on windows OS. The Task Manager provides all the processes running, I want to access the data of Task Manager and also find out what process has been active for how long.  Can I use for this task manager? If Yes, how can I do? The basic aim is to access the data of Task Manager through to another programming language.

All other servers method can do this effect? All ideas, suggestions are welcome. Thank you very much..

This program will show you what treats your machine is running and you see all the svchost that are concentrated to all programs.

I tried the boot, and all the days that something did not work if today I'm the switch back to the normal startup. I tried to run a scan, but it does not have the "clean boot" State... it would also not automatic updates... so here Let's go!

I had the same problem, tried the clean boot, like Wells, and it has not fixed the problem.  Please try this:
There are several steps to follow.
The first is a suggestion from one of the blogs with a slight variation.

    First step:
Enter safe mode.  (Put in the computer market, press F8 several times until the window offering the Safe Mode option appears.  Use your top and arrows to select Safe mode, and then click it.)

    Since the Office Safe Mode:
    1. right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties': my computer-> properties. This opens the "System Properties" dialog box

    2. Select the "Advanced" tab

    3. under "Startup and recovery", click on the button "settings".

    4. at the bottom, in the section "System failure", see what boxes are checked. Windows XP checks them all by default.

    5. click on "Automactically restart." This is probably your cause if you get automactic closures. As an alternative to optimise this method, you can, at your own discretion, also do the following:

    i. uncheck "write an event to the system log.
II. check 'Send an administrative alert' (which should do more to view the sudden error rather than stop).
    III. uncheck "Automactically restart."
IV. in the combo box of the section 'Write debugging information', choose '(none) '. Note that this will disable the rest under "information write Debuggin".

    6. your finished, then click 'Ok' to close the dialog of void and then 'Ok' again in the "System Properties" dialog box

That should do it. Some upgrade suggestions are the best propally but I think these security only handle issues related to other areas if they worth downloads of 2 to 5 hours of 56 k modem for added security. However, I find that some updates are not even for my type of installation (due to unused configuration detection?) or I do not use the services.

For more information on Tweaking, I suggest to look at "http://www.tweakxp.com" If you are a user of Windows XP.

    Good luck.

    Step 2:
    Also in safe mode
    .

Some of these steps have been found on the microsoft Web site.  However, the following text is a little different and should translate into success.  It did for me.
    1) enter the Configuration of the utility system.  You can do this by done safe mode right click on Start, by choosing Search, then typing in msconfig and searching the c: drive.  Once the search is complete, click on one of the icons of msconfig.  This will bring up The System Configuration utility.
    (2) click on the tab general select Selective startup.
    (3) click to uncheck the Process SYSTEM. INI file.
    (4) click to uncheck the process to WIN. INI file.
    (5) click to disable Load Startup items.  Make sure that The Load System Services and use Original of INITIALIZATION. INI are checked.
    6) click on the Services tab.
    (7) click to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box.
    8) click disable all, and then click OK.
    (9) computer.

Step 3: log in to Windows.

    (1) when you receive the following message is displayed, click Select, check box don't show this message or launch the system to Windows Startup Configuration utility , and then click ok.

If this solves the problem, go to step 4.  If it is not the case, then you will need support from a professional.

    Step 4: find the culprit.

    1) enter in the System Configuration utility (SCU for future reference.)
    2) click on the Startup tab.  (NOTE: If you find "audm" within the list of starting points, it is most likely the culprit.) It was for me. If it is, go to If not, go to 3).
    (3) the top of the list in the start menu, check AN item, then restart the computer. Make a note of each element that starts without failure.
Repeat this step until you get the window to "Shut down NT Authority... ».  This will reveal that the start point is the origin of the problem.  Once found, go to 4).
    (4) get in safe mode / SCU / Startup / untick the culprit.
    (5) restart Windows.  If this solves the problem, you are almost finished.  If this isn't the case, you will need the services of a professional.

Step 5: remove the culprit and the reactivation of the process.
    1) go to Start / Search / and look for the item that caused the problem.  (When I did a search for audm - 2 released files.)
    (2) delete all files with the name of the offender and empty your trash.
    3) enter the Configuration of the system - (start/run/msconfig).
    (4) on the general tab, re-enable the Process SYSTEM.ini, WIN.ini processand Load Startup items.
    (5) restart the computer.   The problem should be solved.

    Basic suggestions:
    (1) ALWAYS keep a firewall- and choose the option "Open at Startup.  (That's how I think that was my problem - by not having is not the Firewall opens at the beginning).
    (2) perform a virus Scan is every DAY.
    (3) keep all windows programs and drivers updated - every DAY.
    (4) keep all antivirus programs and firewalls updated - every DAY.

    Good luck

I am only a very lightweight browser and the user of the social network. I do not use my PC for something else.

It is average for a system Windows does not.

Windows is broken down into different components so they can be executed in parallel to improve performance.

Their closure will cause your computer to malfunction and eventually fails.

Run process Explorer to give you a description of each process and information on the services that are running in each svchost process.

  • My computer with Windows 7 Home updated for Firefox v34.0.5 but my two computers that are running Windows 7 Pro have not yet updated beyond Firefox v34.0. Something wrong?

See info above. I re - run the update process at least 10 times on the two machines running Windows 7 Pro (most recently this morning), and whenever the two machines running Windows 7 Pro (one is 64-bit, one is 32-bit) say that Firefox v34.0 is "up-to-date". I checked Mozilla.org, which States that Firefox v34.0.5 was released in mid-December, but he said nothing about whether this update was only for some OSs. I also ran several scans antivirus from different vendors on two machines running Windows 7 Pro and all scans show no problems.

Please advise is there are different versions of Firefox for Windows 7 family or Professional Edition, or if I'm having a problem. If I'm having a problem, please tell us how I can correct.

We changed how updates were deployed to a test, that's why you were probably the 34.0.5 on a computer and 34.0.0 on the other. The only difference between them is that 34.0.5 defines yahoo as the default search. You don't need to worry because of the different versions (who both were released at the same time BTW)

  • Run Windows on USB

I have therefore a 128 GB USB 3.0. I have a copy of Windows 10 and I was wondering if I could create a USB bootable on it. Would I be able to run Windows 10 on this USB key? I know that you can run Windows 10 out of a disc external hard so is it the same process for a USB?

    Thank you

If your Windows license allows running Windows on a USB key, you can then. Bootcamp will not support these media for the installation of Windows. You must use third-party tools or a Windows PC to install Windows on this media.

need to run windows in safe mode with network to have browserws working properly. using IE and Firefox. Web site fisting comes in following correctly sites just waiting for the website tab help

If it works in Windows safe mode, then you have a problem with other software, maybe a security software or a system driver that runs on your computer.

It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • Kill remote processes on Windows 7 and 8 LabVIEW.

    Hello

What is the best way to kill a process of LabVIEW "at a distance".  Example: Computer wants to kill an executable LabVIEW on computer B.  The two computers can run Windows 7 or 8.  The two computers are on my local network and I have the administrative privileges on them.

I tried with "pstools" but I can't make it work.

    Thank you

So can you change LabVIEW program on both computers?

If this isn't the case, you can create a new program just to kill the named process?

  • HP G60 - 533CL: HP G60 - 533 CL laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade-compatible to Windows 10?

    Hello:

My parents have a notebook HP G60 - 533 CL running Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Are you aware of the issues/incompatibilities with Windows 7 upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10 known?

Are there elements of Windows 7 which does not support the Windows 10 (e.g., audio, video) on this laptop?

They installed Office 2007 Home and student version.  It will work with Windows 10 yet?

I've heard talk about Lenovo ThinkPads crashing 10 Windows when the user tries to access its built-in webcam.

The webcam on the HP G60 - 533 CL did not work properly when the laptop is released, but about a year later, after an update of the driver had been released.

Are there drivers... for example, printer, screen, touchpad, etc..  ... which should be upgraded so that this laptop work with Windows 10 ?

    Thank you

    You properly the process.

Macrium Reflect has instructions on their website showing how to make backups and images.  You have to walk through those before trying anything.

It is pretty simple as you can, with the examples in front of you, walk someone through it over the phone.

Then "error 1722.  There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.  A fun program as part of the Setup did not finish as expected.

Earlier, I had a problem with the video and had Windows reinstalled 7.  Now my AOL games don't show/reading.  JAVA said error 1722 is an InstallShield error code. It indicates that the installation process has failed. The exact reason for this error is not known at this time.  I was told to uninstall JRE (Java Runtime Environment).  I find two versions of Java on my system (no JRE) - Java (TM) 6 - update 14 and 14 (64-bit).  Should I uninstall both?... OR WHAT?

    Hi Betty48228,

Here's how to solve your problem:
    (1) uninstall all versions of Java.
    (2) the uninstall will probably fail. If so, get Revo Uninstaller free http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.htmland uninstall Java in advanced mode (integrated Java uninstaller runs, failure and then Revo will delete everthing manually). You will need to restart your PC.
    (3) reinstall Java: http://java.com/en/download/

  • dx2400: my computer run Windows 7, 64-bit?

My Compaq dx2400 is running Vista Business.  It has an Intel Pentium E2180 processor.  Profile Belarc Advisor "64-bit ready" appears in the section processer.  The E2180 Intel specs show that it uses a 64-bit instruction set.  In the part of Advanced Technologies of the plug, on the line that reads Intel 64, there is a green "showing the button 'Yes. '  Does this mean that it would be possible for me to run Windows 7 64 bit on this machine?

Of the form that saw it can run only 32-bit.

  • Vista 64 SP2: when you run windows update, trustedinstaller takes 100% of one of the drivers for more than 20 minutes

I recently bought a new computer, when I run Windows Update there is a process called TrustedInstaller.exe, taking 100% of one of the cores for a very long time (> 20 minutes).

I have vista 64 SP2 and all updates installed (took me over 3 days to complete).

Also, when I try to install additional features of windows (for example. IIS) the same thing happens, trusteinstaller takes 100% of the base and install new features forever.

I have not installed additional software so far is very little probable that a virus or spyware is the cause. When I'm not updating the an or install features of windows, the computer running quickly and the cpu load is not high at all.
