Card mother R61 42W7882 or 42W7991 replacement

I have a R61 with a motherboard (42W7882 or 42W7791 which has the graphics chip from Nvidia). He has a T7300 (Core 2 Duo) processor that is compatible only with the 82GME965 chipset. Now, the Nvidia card is dead and I want to replace the motherboard with another model that does not have the Nvidia chip, but rather the integrated graph (GM965). What model number of motherboard are compatible with my laptop? Model exact phone # is 8919Y14. Can someone give me some information please?

You have a 15.4 "model, you cannot use a Board of a machine of series"T ". Some R61 15.4 "have touchpad connectors and dock connectors and some do not. Some Penryn processors, and some do not. My best guess is that you need a Board with two connectors. You can certainly use a Penrym or non-Penryn Council. According to my notes, you can use 42W7825 or 42W7883, and your existing fan will operate.

  • Replacement card mother Qosmio G10

After replacing the card mother a Qosmio G10-120 original Win Xp MCE with the official update (FC43S1 A5A001749010 P000454980 jury), some problems have arisen:

    1. second HARD drive internal no more seen.
    2. all buttons stop "standby/disable rebooting the computer" do not completely take effect (office closed way unexpected but manual power button continues to show the color blue and portable remains active).
    3. always on cooling fan.

    Upgrade the motherboard consisted of:

    1. creation of new channels DMI Council (in particular "Model name" field was set to "Qosmio G10").
    2. loading the CD-ROM TCN0000006 official update tool.
    3. no recovery BIOS or EC/KBC.

    Any idea?

I m wondering how you did update the information in the DMI?
As far as I know that the Toshiba authorised service provider is able to update information DMI as the model name, version number, etc. using utilities and special tools.

I googled for the motherboard part number, you have deposited in your original thread, and it seems that this motherboard has been developed the Qosmio F15 series.

  • The card mother MS-7184 (AmethystM) in my old HP PC takes in AHCI mode?

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my post!

I recently bought an OCZ Aligity 4 256 GB SSD drive. I want to use the SSD as drive replacing the original hard drive in my old HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7334n desktop PC. Here is the link to my pc:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=1821850

I know that the motherboard identified on the Web site above for this model of PC is A8AE-(AmberineM), but the motherboard I have is MS-7184 (AmethystM), the specifications of the motherboard is here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00378480

I updated the BIOS with the latest version (3.47, 03/03/2006) I can found on the HP website. In the BIOS, I can't find any info on the AHCI support. My questions are:

1 - is the card mother MS-7184 (AmethystM) in my old HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7334n Desktop PC support AHCI mode?

    2. how to configure CMOS when I use the SSD as my main drive on the old HP computer?

Note Please that I have aleady copy drive hard whole orginal on the new SSD and I started my computer on the new SSD. This works. I have another post questions on the recovery of the system on the SSD, the post is here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-operating-systems-e-g/system-recovery-doesn-t-work-on-cloned-SS...

    Thank you!

    You are the very welcome.

I leave these settings at their default values.

You have the SSD connected to sata port, and it must operate to the maximum 150 Mbps transfer speed, 133 or 100 no matter what readings are displayed, as would an IDE drive.

The problem is that since there is no AHCI setting, the drive cannot enjoy the native command files or TOPPING.

Aside from that, an SSD should be better that a standard SATA I mechanical drive or IDE hard drive.

Even subjectively, you should 'see' a difference in sensitivity of disc, not you?

  • the upgrade card mother DM3-Pavilion

    Hello

My 4 year Pavilion dm3, recently died on me. It's a little elegant machine, I wanted to wear around and who was always OK for occasional daily tasks. For these reasons and others, I would at least try to replace the defective motherboard and revive.

The model I bought is a dm3-1003tx exotic model (bought in Thailand, especially with a keyboard QWERTY/thai), with Intel SU7300 and discrete nVidia GeForce G 105 M graphics chip.

Given that the original motherboard is not easy to find (PN 584079-001, only a couple of bids on ebay of the Japan), can someone tell me:

-If it's OK to replace it with an another based SU7300 of motherboard (can be with or without the nvidia chip - I really don't need it).

-or even better upgrade to a motherboard of SP9300 based to get a performance gain? If so, should I expect any change (it looks that the consumption of energy and the frequency of the buses are higher with the SP9300 then maybe RAM...?)

Is there any tool available around compatible HP part numbers?

    Thank you

No, there is not a matrix of cross, useful reference because it would be. I think that HP is simply too many different models and parts for someone to keep track of it all. HP Service is inspired by replacement with the same part number so their internal service people wouldn't even have much use for such a thing, just us end users.

Motherboards have the processor soldered to the and there is only a single part number for the fan/radiator Intel stated so I would say that if you replace your motherboard with it:

    580663 001

with the SP9300, you'll be able to reuse your fan/radiator. In the case where you don't have it here is the repair:

    Manual

All models use the DDR2-800 memory and accept up to 8 GB. Different motherboards all seem to have the same ports and such and will have the same anchor points. You could even theoretically install a card mother AMD-based, but this would require to reinstall an operating system, and I wouldn't trade an Intel processor for an AMD processor in any case unless AMD have been much cheaper. A Committee from AMD would also require a different radiator, however.

You can buy the SP9300 motherboard for $45 shipped on eBay:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/580663-001-HP-Compaq-motherboard-Pavilion-dm3-Intel-laptop-W-SP9300-CPU-581467-0-/400445142883?PT=motherboards&hash=item5d3c63f763

The same seller also has the SU7300 for a few dollars less:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/584078-001-HP-dm3-1000-laptop-motherboard-w-Intel-SU7300-1-3GHz-CPU-/400600978029?PT=motherboards&hash=item5d45add26d

I bought a little of this seller and it looks like they have a lot of them on the spot so must have dismantled a certain dm3s. Maybe if you call them they can steer you in a way or another based on real practical experience. I confess that I have the opportunity to work on this exact model.

  • Problem of card mother-suggestions

I have a Desktop Pavilion p6310y and I lost my second mother. He has a Paragon M2N78 - motherboard and said that it is the only one that can be used on this computer. Does anyone know if there is another motherboard that can be used on this computer? It has a processor AMD 2.8 ghz and 6 GB of ram. I really want to buy a new computer, I just want to see if it can be resolved.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Bob

    Bob,

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6310y and its card mother M2N78-(Violet6). Please note that this model uses the 'VIOLET6' of the M2N78 - motherboard version and not several different version called M2N78 - LA. This model came from the factory with an AMD AM3 Athlon II X 4 630 and 6 GB memory DDR3.

While you can replace the motherboard with a new one, Windows will become "not authentic" and you will need to purchase a new copy of Windows. Other problems that may arise,... include your recovery discs HP will no longer works, back plate I/O may not match, mounting motherboard can not align the studs, etc.. When installing a new copy of Windows, you will lose all 'value-added' original HP supplied with your computer software.

If you're OK with every possible question of a motherboard out of factory usage, consider these cards mothers AMD AM3 + who is responsible for your AM3 Athlon II X 4 630 CPU and DDR3 memory.

    Please send Bravo

  • Inspiron One 2020 new card mother help

    Greetings & Salmenella

The high memory slot on the motherboard of my Inspiron One 2020 beeps stop known, two beeps of intervals. Any memory I put in the continuous ringing. It stops if I have a memory stick into the lower slot.

I need help on the verification of the correct mother card to purchase or if it is a card mother Dell different that I can spend which will enter in the box. I don't mind if I have to make the cuts or small holes in the back plate, since I already have the holes for a tuner card, I bought after that I bought the model which had no openings for cable TV.

I really don't want to go buy a brand new for a slot with memory 4meg bad computer. I have a solid state, 8 GB RAM and 2 GB of RAM, it runs fast enough that I do not have to buy a new computer. But losing that 4gigs of ram in the bad memory slot. Holy Ding Dong, the hard drive takes forever to stop making noise, surfing slows down and compilation and writing of visual basic for class takes forever.

    Now for the short version.

What is the correct motherboard model to replace an Inspiron One 2020 or is there a model of mark liked that a motherboard will suit my AIO home and get all my guts of the computer. I have a 5-2390T UC iCore.

    Love,

    Stu

Any advice for this model are the same - but nothing else that will fit the original.

  • Compatibility card mother HP/Phenom 960 t

I have a HP P7 1054, Alvorix H-RS880-card mother Μatx, rated at 95W max (oops on the purchase of a Phenom 965BE).  The motherboard is compatible "9xx" and Phenom 4 x 3.0 ghz 960 t is assessed to 95W.  Will this motherboard support unblock this CPU to present itself as a 6-core, it is strong?  I heard some motherboards do, some don't.  Moreover, the fact that this CPU is 3.4 ghz "turbo" (T) affect compatibility it is, as it technically isn't just a 9xx, this is a 9xxT.  I am currently very literal, it should work if I buy it. Add cache L3 of the Phenom my Anthlon 3.1 stock vs ghz 4 x 645 is primary, without renouncing a clock speed.  Looks like a good 95W replacing the 965BE, also 3.4 ghz but 125W

I decided to just give up the illegitimate child of 970T and get a Phenom X 6 1045T, I know works, 95W, has 6 hearts, of course, has the L3 I want, 50% L2 more than my 4 X and will run at 3.2 Ghz Turbo when 3 or more cores is closed. For $99 at my local Microcenter, it's worth on my Athlon X 4 645 3.1 Ghz.  Without risk, HP even built desktop computers with this CPU on my exact Board.  The computer is much faster than me in any case using Solidworks.  Now if I can just sell my 125W Phenom X 4 965BE with zero minute on it...

Thanks for me direction away from what would have been a dead end...

  • Dell desktop computer just ran scan & system - failure of the card mother how fix this?

Hi, I have a Dell desktop computer that came with an Epson printer & all the other necessary things: keyboard, mouse, speakers, & flat screen.  I bought it in 2009.  I'm on social security, so I can't afford to buy a warranty with Dell, which missed.  My system works fine.  Dell offers, free of charge, a scan to check the memory card mother and other issues.  I do the scan every month.   It was record past in all categories.

However, I just did a scan on July 6, 2013 and the analysis of response of the system said failure in red.  Then he said: 'mother' I know refers to the hard drive.  I am over 65 and fairly low tech & live alone.  However, I am pretty savvy, computer or as much as I can be.

I checked the help MSN menu, but could not follow him.  This is why I post my question on the MSN Community forum, which helped me with other problems in the past.  I have also just posted on the Dell forums.  I have MSN as my homepage & use IE 9, it works best for me.  The only email I have is on AOL and I've been there for years without any problem.

I have Verizon FIOS; If I can't get an idea of how this problem on the forums (in fact, I prefer MSN forums) I'll call them.  They offer free advice by telephone.  If necessary, they will come to my apartment to check my system & require a rate SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the Geek Squad.

However, I did not do anything to the system.  I have update printer drivers, since the printer has suddenly stopped working when I replaced the cartridges.  I don't think that this should be a problem.  I replaced the cartridges before.  I have an Epson Stylus NX110 printer/scanner/copier & called Epson, they SUCK.  The printer comes with the computer.  I have installed new drivers & the printer works fine.  I do not have a wireless system, & I don't have a digital camera.  The only other conflict can be I have two Microsoft Security Essentials AND free AVG downloaded as my anti-virus, anti-spyware.

I know that the new drivers, I installed the printer were great, it was an update of Epson which I figured out.  I as well need the computer & printer. I am disabled & only at home much & this is my link with the outside world.  I do a little writing & letters print & printing (Yes, postal mail) to friends & also letters to additional government assistance of my State & County.  I appreciate all the advice and I'm sorry it's so long.

I've been doing them for months, it is very likely.

First of all - the 'motherboard' does not mean 'hard drive '.  This means that the "mother".  :-)  The drive is the storage processors is the brain and everything connects through... the "mother".

Second - why sweep you all the months?  Unless you are having a problem - well - I suggest you not to do so.  Heck - you may see a false positive.  Do you have any indication that you have a hardware failure?

    Here's what I suggest:
    (1) stop the execution of this "free scan of Dell.
    (2) ensure that the drivers of motherboard, video card, network device and peripheral chipset audio are later you can get - on the Dell site for your specific Service and operating system combination label (drivers and downloads section, use your service number and put in the operating system you are using.)
    (3) never use Geek Squad.
    (4) what is the "MSN Help Menu?
    (5) choose AN antivirus software - two is misguided and may cause problems.
    (6) run some scans of malware with the details, I will give you right after that...

Regarding AntiVirus - free are very good: Avira, AVG, Avast, UnThreat

You could spend ~ 60USD during two years of eSET NOD32 AntiVirus (not more - just product AntiVirus) and which would be more worthwhile.

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Remove everything it finds.

    Reset.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

For the printer - you have downloaded and installed the form here?

  • Card mother HPE-400f

I can't track down the card mother HPE-400f.

On one page it says it's the H-ALVORIX_HF-RS880-Μatx and on the upgrade page, he refers to the N-ALVORIX-RS880-Μatx.

Anyone know if they are basically the same when it comes to possible future updates regarding the CPU cards and video?

Also if anyone has any information on a better system in the $100 range (less than $900) which also would be appreciated, as this is my first time out of the box of Pentium and you plan to buy an AMD System.

    Thanks in advance.

East of the motherboard for the HPE-400f.   Look above the processor upgrade.

HPE-400f has only a 300 watt PSU, so your choice for a better graphics card would be limited to something like the EVGA NVIDIA 240 GT 1 GB DDR5.  However, if you replace the power supply with a 600 watt model so you could get a close end to the top of the video page map.

Review the specifications of performance ATI and NVIDIA . Look at the specifications of strip memory bandwidth and level of DirectX support.

You could try to build you own.
