Card problem Wifi Intel Dual Band 7260

Hello. I've recently updated my windows to the anniversary version last week, and after several hours, I noticed that there is something on my wifi connection. I'm 10 meters from the router but the wifi at the full show indicator bar at the bottom right, but my still very slow connection and it should be only 2 bars as before. After several minutes of connectivity, it disconnects and when I tried to connect it again, he says that can not connect to this network sometimes not found network. I restarted my pc and it connects again and disconnects after 5 minutes. Help me to something that dome...

Hey, I found the solution to my problem, I waited for 5 hours to see if the problem is still persist, but it didn't, before I update my pc for updates to birthday, he comes to my mind and I remembered, I downloaded a www.driverscape.com driver for my pc which was intended to update my keyboard driver , but it was for physical radio switch connection switching wireless pc. It's the Radio controller driver. When I remebered it. I'm immediately went to device--> Human Management Interface Devices--> find the Radio controller--> click right--> Goto Power Management--> Unchecked properties allow this device save energy... That's all. Your wifi will not more cut in itself... The only problem remains that the wifi light doesn't always show does not a good range of the wifi but signal its ok I just have to wait for an another updates from microsoft to solve officially.

    Hello:

You cannot use an Intel wireless adapter in a computer with AMD hardware.  This is why it does not work.  And there is nothing you can do to make it work.

Plus your laptop must have 2 wireless antennas, or you cannot switch to the card wireless at all unless you take the laptop it starts including the display panel to add a second antenna.

If your laptop has two antennas, and if you want a double card n wireless broadband, you get a one Broadcom.

Yes, he absolutely has a whitelist. I do not know where to come from tips in the other 2 posts and this is a mistake. Laptop wi - fi modules are readily available on the market. I have a drawer full of them to prove it. Unfortunately, HP had about one year-10 ran to block the installation of any wi - fi (module) card but a specific group of cards specific firmware HP and identity. In other words, the ONLY cards that can be installed are the very specific listed for your model in your area in the maintenance manual. This prevented the owners of manufactured HP laptops before about Q4 2013 to upgrade to the latest wireless technology. Your laptop is longer than that if you're stuck with what is indicated in the maintenance manual.

Not my decision, just tell it like it is.

  • No Bluetooth on Latitude E5540 although Wifi works (Intel Dual Band AC-7260 BT + Wifi)

    Hello

as indicated, I can't do the bluetooth on my laptop E5540, although the chip works fine (Intel Dual Band AC-7260 BT + Wifi). I do not use so much so I discovered a few days ago:

Win7 showed an "unknown device" which was clearly referring to BT

After a round of Microsoft/Dell/Intel updates, there is no more 'unknown devices' but still no trace of BT (as you can see in the following image).

    Help?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for the tips. I have indeed tried everything and more, but no bluetooth device was visible... I finally checked the BIOS, and we are here:

    SOLVED.

The question was in fact related to an option: "want you as the physical button on the left to control: wifi, wifi + bluetooth...» ». I probably suddenly unchecked bluetooth, there is no more way to power it on.

    Thank you

  • Intel dual band wireless-ac 7260 Compatability

I just bought a new HP Pavilion and want to upgrade the wireless LAN card. It of a great PC and has an i7 Intel Core 4 Gen and so far works fine when connected to my LAN via Cat6. I'm having issues pulling large CAD files and in looking over the repair, the only option listed for a duel card band is an old N Intel 3160 (1 X 1), from 2013. I contacted Intel and was informed that the card should work, but that HP tends to Whitelist BIOS here to prevent customers of workstations being upgraded there. The question that I have is the the 7260 Intel does not appear in my service manual, BUT is currently available for download driver on the support listed as a driver Intel 7260/3160 site. Anyone know if this product is in the white list on the BIOS? I have listed the part I'll order below for reference.

    INTEL DUAL BAND WIRELESS AC 7260 - (NETWORK CARD 2 X 2

HALF OF MINI - PCI EXPRESS CARD

    802. 11B, 802. 11A, 802. 11 G, 802.11N,

    Model number 7260.HMWWB. R

    TigerDirect part number: IE2-102594433

    List price $29.99

As you can see the value of spending $29.99 and the return on investment of this offer that it is obvious, from the 'stocks' Realtek Wireless Card that comes standard on this computer.

Would also like to point out that this computer was only $479.99 at Best Buy and came with and i7 4Gen and was too good to pass up.  No idea why HP would be but as lower wifi card in the same workstation with an i7.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this post and I can't wait to read your response.

    Hello:

Several posts, I read on the forum that you should have no problem installing any wireless card you want in your laptop, as it appears that HP has done away the white list of wireless cards BIOS.

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

Info upgrade memory are in Chapter 1.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us & dlc = in & lc = in & product = 7582630 &

Now, I have bad news for you...

You will cancel the warranty if you install a wireless card or memory yourself.

Unfortunately, you have to pretty much disassemble the laptop everything to the hard drive, memory, and the wireless card.  You can refer to chapters 5 and 6 of the repair for the removal and replacement procedures.

  • J2C89PA #AB4: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 bluetooth problem

I installed my adapter wireless laptop 'Broadcom BCM43142"to"Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 ac 802.11"later confirmed that the new card is supported for repair.  The two latest drivers for Intel wireless and bluetooth are installed (18.33.0.2 and 18.1.1611.3223 respectively).

Ca connection works perfectly well; However, the bluetooth seems to have issue here.  For matching and to maintain active the connection between the device bluetooth and laptop, I put literally right next to each other.  No matter how far more than 10cm of distance, the bluetooth device will be inactive and unusable.

I don't have such a problem with Broadcom, which I can perform the pairing and maintain the connection active even a meter apart.

Does anyone face the same problem before with Intel AC 3160 bluetooth?  Or is it a hardware problem with the card itself?

Intel AC 3160 must antenna 2 (1 for the wifi and the other BT).  I managed to install the 2nd antenna and the BT problem solved.

  • Conflict of Bluetooth and WiDi: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160

I have a HP Envy 17 laptop t-j100 with 4th generation CPU i7-4700mq as well as the NIC Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160.  The Wifi and Bluetooth worked well. However, Bluetooth has stopped working and has disappeared from the list of devices in Device Manager after you install Intel WiDi software.

Can Bluetooth and WiDi coexist on this map of 3160 AC? If so, how to make two of them work?

    I appreciate your kind help.

Hello gyshen, welcome to the Forums of HP.

I see that you have a problem with the Bluetooth works on your laptop after installing software WiDi. I will try to help you with this.

What do you mean, by installing software WiDi? Where have you installed this from?

Deepen the question for you and to answer your questions, both can "coexist" using the map Intel AC 3160. This is confirmed here: Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160.

The processor is also supported: Intel® Core™ processor i7-4700MQ.

I suggest try to update/install the two drivers (without wireless/bluetooth). They are here:
    Driver LAN wireless Intel 7260/3160
    Driver Bluetooth 4.0 Intel

I'll also give you this document: Using Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) of media to your TV display as it can be useful to you.

These are the most recent provided by HP to your laptop.

Let me know if those who help at all, please post on the Forums of HP.
