CAREB touchpad scroll not working not

My CAREB portable edge scrolling on the touchpad does not work when I try to scroll downwards or upwards

Hello

Control Panel - mouse - look for the TouchPad settings - mine is on the settings of the device and your own tab
may be different (it is NOT the Scrollings tab which is for the mouse). On some, you can activate
and disable scrolling and/or define the size of the area and the sensitivity of the touchpad.

Some will have a TouchPad progam/control icon in the Notification area near the clock - low
right.

Check with the manufacturer of System Support, online documentation and forums (if any).

==========================================

If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB.

Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista, and Windows 7 are the same except you must delete the specific
device if present.

Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    Hello

I'm new to this forum so I don't know if this is the right place to post this.

Anyway, recently I installed Windows 7 32 bit on my Toshiba laptop, everything went well and I installed all the drivers I needed in order to make the webcam and the function of the keys at work etc.

But I have a problem, my touchpad scrolling is not working after installation, now I can't scroll up and down, left and right with my touchpad. I tried searching for all the drivers who can help solve this problem, but I havn't been able to find everything about the touchpad.

Anyone would be able to help me with my problem? Would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Hi SA90,.

Normally, you need to install the driver for the touchpad for use of the virtual scrolling function. I checked the site Web of Toshiba and I could find a touchpad driver for Windows Vista 32 bit. Normally the Vista drivers are also work on Windows 7.

    Hello

It is possible that the setting you need have not enabled by default, so you better check the following.

Open windows control panel, open the mouse, select the tab "Setting ClickPad", and then click the setting button ClickPad.  In the next window, enter a check mark in the "Scroll" checkbox, then click on the word 'Scrolling' and you will see a cog on the right.  Click the sprocket to open another page of settings and enter a check mark in the box against "Vertical scroll".  Click on the close button and then click on apply and Ok in the previous window.

You may well find other 'gesture options' can also be activated in the same way.

  • The touchpad scrolling stops working during the AVG scanning

I had problems with my touchpad scrolling intermittently does not not in Firefox for everything to doing some time-probably at least a year. I've probably tried all the common fixes without result. I found that if I sign out and then sign back in to Windows, scrolling will work perfectly until AVG antivirus does a scan or an update. It will not work again until disconnect me and reconnect. Firefox is the only application that is affected.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) with all current updates on your laptop Gateway ID49C, version FF 27.0.1.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello!

I figured out how to stop the break when an AVG scan starts. It seems that it is the AVG scan notification that appears in the bar of tasks that causes scrolling to stop working. When I disabled the taskbar notifications in AVG, the scans run normally and my scroll continues to operate correctly. So, I guess I don't really fix anything, but found a workaround I can live with that.

Thanks for your help and assistance. If you find a permanent solution, please let me know. Have a great day.

  • HP touchpad scrolling stops working by itself, 20-30 minutes after most of the time bonus.

    Hello
I have a HP Pavilion dv5 laptop, purchased abt 1.5 years, OS - Windows Vista Home Basic - service Pack2. These last days, I have a problem.
Whenever I start my laptop, the touchpad works fine for a while - like 20-30 min and after the error message is displayed "touchpad Synaptics improvements have stopped working" and then scrolling stops working. Rest well all the features of the touchpad work.
To fix - I tried to reboot, it works but I can not go on restart every 20-30 minutes while working.
Windows updates are installed on a regular basis according to the notification. Could you please tell me what to do.
    Thank you

    Hello

Check if there is no updated driver for the touchpad from the manufacturer. Follow the HP link, fill in the correct details and download the latest driver install and check if the touchpad works very well.

Check with support of the manufacturer system, documentation online or forums that there is probably
Shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
and some come with a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: Touchpad scroll not working not

I opened my laptop and I can not more two finger suddenley roll. I tried to open up
Settings - Options of additional devices mouse - mouse and touchpad.
But when I click it, it says "control panel extension is incompatible with the version of the driver," and once I click ok it kicks me out of the next page.

How to restore two scrolling settings figure?

    Hi Bianca96!

I understand that you are having problems with your two fingers to scroll contact on your tablet.

Did you take a glance at our article on the HP support site that treats of the "If use you the touch pad or click in win 10? You can find this article at http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04648748

If this is not enough, I would suggest that you uninstall the device (via Device Manager) and software, and then reinstall. You can also run your HP Support Assistant to ensure that all of your drivers and firmware are up to date.

Finally, I would go into the BIOS on the main tab and press the F9 key to restore the default settings.

    I hope this helps.

Laptop is a few months old. Stopped working after a windows update. I found some answers previous for a year or two ago, but thought Windows 8 could require something different.

    Thanks for the help!

Use the link below or the link at the top of this page entitled "Support and drivers". Enter your number of product as that indicated on the Service tag on the bottom of the laptop (can be under the battery). After you enter the PN, click Next, and then choose software & Drivers. On the next page, use the drop down menu to select your operating system (Windows 8). A list will fill with the drivers and software. Check the latest version of the Synaptics software.

  • The touchpad scrolling works on all applications (including IE) but not in Firefox - Win 10

My touchpad scroll does not work in Firefox. It works great with IE and other applications (Windows 10).

If it was a driver issue - I think that this would not work in all applications, but it works fine everywhere (except Firefox)

I can operate for a short period, if I uninstall the Touchpad (in Device Manager), restart, re - installed.

Again, hard to believe it would be a driver problem - works fine in all applications, except Firefox...

  • Logitech k400 touchpad scrolling (and scroll wheel works does not in general)

I use Firefox Beta 19 for Android on a mini MK808 PC (but this also applies to other devices when using any kind of keyboard/mouse combo external;) I tried also with a Tablet Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition with similar results).

My keyboard is a Logitech K400 with a touchpad. It must scroll the page when we slide down/up with two fingers. The feature does not work in Firefox; Instead, I have to hold the mouse button and drag a finger. The gesture of two-finger scrolling works with Chrome and the browser of stock on this device, this issue should be repairable. It's a little annoying because Firefox is differently from other applications.

In addition, during this test with another real with a mouse wireless keyboard/mouse combo I found that the mouse scroll wheel does not work. Again, it works in Chrome, so it is a behaviour Firefox only. (In fact, it makes perfect sense, because scrolling with two fingers to the keyboard Logitech is to emulate the scroll wheel). This is actually good news, because now I'm sure enough many users will be offended by this bug and it should be fixed.

Note: in case this information is useful, the scrolling mouse work on Firefox start page with thumbnails of the most used links, but not on the other pages.

    Added: Find the bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=686228

Apparently, there's a difficulty, but when he reached the beta channel?

Yes! He works in Aurora! Even if for some reason, the logic is opposite to that of Chrome (scrolling down moves the page down in the window instead of the top). I can live with that.

Edit: well, it works partially in Aurora. Scrolling of the Mouse/touchpad does not work on pages that have fields independently scrollable (for example, the web interface of Tweetdeck with different columns) or the parts that are supposed to be stationary. I hope that (and reverse the direction) will be fixed later.

  • The touchpad scrolling does not work after upgrade to Windows 10

    Hello world

I used everything on my laptop Satellite uninstalled and reinstalled Windows 10.

    Now, toshiba applications disappeared.
    This isn't my problem.

My problem is that on my touchpad scrolling is not working.
Synaptics is gone and when I try to install a new driver (Touch Pad driver) it gives an error after installation.

Synaptics is installed accept for the uttilities mouch.

    Someone can help me.

    Greetings, Jiska

I don't know what model of laptop you have, but it turns out that not all series of phones are supported to win 10 upgrade.
In this case Win 10 drivers will not be released on such unit...

The touchpad scrolling requires additional touchpad driver...
If your device supports Synaptics touchpad, you can also use the driver for the Synaptics driver page:
    http://www.Synaptics.com/en/drivers.php

But currently driver to Win 10 is not available... you can try to install and to use the Win 8.1 driver but I'm not sure if it will work properly...

    Hello

Have you checked if the touchpad scroll function has been enabled and configured correctly?
I recommend that you check these settings before you to reinstall the driver for the touchpad.

Do you know where to find these parameters?
    You can find it in

+ Control Panel-> mouse-> last (device settings) tab-> settings button.

Here, you should check the * virtual scrolling *.

  • in the touchpad scrolling is not working. Help, please

I have owned hp pavilion dm1, windows 7-64 bit. It's happened before. I have to open the window mouse just to make the scrolls to work. I have asked before about this and someone advised me to uninstall it and install the latest version of the synaptics driver. can I have the link where I can download the latest version of the synaptics driver? or any other Council so that this would never happen? I can't just trust the links then please help me. Thank you

    Hello

First, download the latest installer driver Synaptics, on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp53501-54000/sp53857.exe

Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

    Once done, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

Maybe now you will need to allow scrolling-what is described under the heading "Adjust horizontal and vertical scrolling" on This Document.

    Kind regards
