• How to set programmatically the ' input length Max ' of a cell of the tree

I want to specify a maximum length of N_MAX for names of cell of a tree, so that when the user press the F2 key to rename, it has failed to enter more characters N_MAX.

For existing items in the file of the uir, I am able to get this behavior by setting the tree Edit > edit columns/cells > change cell > entry length Max to 5 (see attached img03.png).

When the user tries to rename this article, he has failed to enter more than 5 characters (see attached img02.png).

But how to set this attribute for items added programmatically (for example, through InsertTreeItem ()).

I was not able to find the right attribute, because the attribute of cells ATTR_LABEL_TEXT_LENGTH (which seems more or less what I'm looking for) is "not definable.

You have found an omission in documentation. You can use ATTR_MAX_ENTRY_LENGTH and ATTR_MAX_ENTRY_CHARS with SetTreeCellAttribute and SetTreeItemAttribute to set the max entry for a cell of the tree.

Hi Guyz,

In OIM11gR2, I create a CUstom UDF in usr of the designer. IHAVE specified field notes with Disaply length 200 and Max length 4000. But when I bring value in the field, he always asks that it is unable to provide the value of more than 100 length Max. When I check in the database of the type of column is Varchar 2 (100 Char) only. It is a very simple requirement to enter a comment field with the maximum allowed length is 4000 to IOM. • Error compiling FPGA-61332: the length of a line to < "file.vhdl" > is too long for xilinx 10.1. Length: < length > Max Length: 4150

Hello

When compiling a fairly basic FPGA VI, I get the following error:

61332 error occurred in niFpgaCompileWorker_ProcessStatusPipe.vi:1<><>

Possible reasons:

LabVIEW FPGA: An unexpected error occurred with the build tools. You try to compile the FPGA VI again could solve the problem.

The length of a line in "NiFpgaAG_0000002e_WhileLoop.vhd" is too long for xilinx 10.1. Length: 32845 Max length: 4150

Departure time: 17:22:06
End time: 17:22:12
Total time: 00:00:06

Apparently, the vhdl code generator OR forgot to add some CR + LF in the intermediate files. How to work around this bug?

Kind regards

Lukas

Hi Lukas.

When LabVIEW compiles a VI, the VI is converted into virtual hard disk to be compiled into a file bit by Xilinx. As you have already understood, this error indicates that a line of code vhd had a length of 32 845 characters, which exceeds the maximum length of 4150 characters for the Xilinx 10.1.

Although 32 845 characters is very long, it is possible that this is due to the codification of LabVIEW rather than a bug. Some common causes of this problem include large enums, a matrix, or clusters in the code. Please check in your code. If you have no luck, please attach a screenshot of the code. I hope this helps!

• (Redirected) Alienware 51 2013 x (R1?) case transfer & upgrade gpu/power supply possible

OK, so I bought an Alienware x 51 back in 2013 with these specs:

I7 3770 3.4 Ghz
GTX 660
16 GB ram ddr3
1 TB of HDD (917 GB actual)
Optical drive (don't know much talk of it)
Mobo: Manufacturer: Alienware, product: 06G6JW, Version: A01

Here's the plan:
I decided to take the elements and moving them to a new case, give em a new PSU, possibly upgrading of the gpu. Then (later on the road), when I have enough dough bad replace the components outside the case itself. In addition, my current budget for this upgrade/transplant is about 300 ca $

The parts I have in mind: (Note: I am in the Canada, and I'm a newb to pc hardware )
New case: NZXT Source 530 ( http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681... )

Case fans: Cooler Master channel with the 120mm (set of 4) ( http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1683... )

Questions:
1. What are good choices? I love the case, but I'm not sure of the quality of the PSU. Think about the other items were mostly positive.
2 - What is the highest level of the GPU that would work with this Mobo is worth getting?
3. are there major problems with this plan?
4. I think adding a second hard drive or ssd, I can do this at a later date, but what would you recommend? (<>

• Adobe animate CC HTML5 - setting length max on a dynamic text box

Hi guys,.

I hope someone can help...

I'm trying to set a maximum length of a dynamic text to only 10 characters box.

These work perfectly by the way:

Screen.tab01.txt.text = labelSomeText;

Screen.tab01.txt.color = "#424242";

However I can't get this to work:

Screen.tab01.txt.MaxLength = "10";

Can someone please advice what I am doing wrong?

Thank you man!

You do not specify if you speak a native textfield object, or an element of HTML text overlay.

For HTML text input elements, the property to set is "maxlength", all lowercase.

For native textfield objects, there is no max length, width property maximum of only. You will need to manually apply any character limit in the code that defines the contents of the textfield object.

• LiveCycle Designer ES2 - validation model and limited length: max tanks

I am new to the use of LiveCycle Forms of design. This seems like it should be a very simple thing, but I'm stuck on how to do it.

I have a postal Code field. It is located at Zip and Zip + 4 display and Validation of models. The Validation model is text {99999} | text 999999999 {}.

I have a script that stops at the entrance of alpha characters. I also want to prevent users from entering more than 9 characters. I think that the

Length limit: Max tanks: feature would take care of that... but it's not. I can't turn on the limit length because I get a warning that conflict

with my boss. Makes no sense for me because my boss has a maximum of 9 numbers and I want my length limit for a maximum of 9 characters.

I know that I can use schema validation to provide an error message warning that indicates a user to enter the numbers 5 or 9, but why can't I've just stop them at 9?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello

It does not always seem to work, you get just an annoying warning at design time.

If you use a numeric field, then you might have the code in the change event to limit the length, and in this way they would be able to type alphanumeric characters either.

newValue var = parseInt (xfa.event.newText, 10);

If (isNaN (newValue) | newValue < 0="" ||="" newvalue=""> 999999999)

{

XFA. Event.change = "";

}

You then have the code in the validate event to test a value in both sectors.

• Microphone C20 length Max extension cable

Nice day

I would like to know if it will be possible to extend the standard microphone C20 cable last 15 m...

Thank you!

Hey Martin

We can use the extension for the microphones to C20. Even its listed in the parts and components Guide:

CTS-QSC20-MIC =

20 and 7.5 m of performance Mic cable attached

CAB-MIC20-EXT =

Extension cable 10 m for CTS-QSC20-MIC, 3.5 mm F 3.5 mm M

So we can say that you can use the microphone with 2 extension = 37.5 meters, a little more of 90 feet.

Thank you

Hello

Here's a possible solution:

create or replace type tCharArray is table of varchar2(1000);

create or replace function get_max_size(p_array tCharArray) return number
is
l_result number;
begin
select max(length(column_value))
into l_result

• to make a cast or not cast varchar2 total length of index Resultatspour function?

I have a table where a set of four fields, plus a status must have a single status 'in progress' but can have many records of the status of "historic". Meanwhile, there is a synthetic independent status sequence key. I wrote a function index like this:

create an index only funcindex on mytable
(status of the case
When "history".
then to_char (synthetic_key)
When the 'current '.
then col1 | col2. COL3 | COL4
(end);

It seems to work, however, I'm curious to know how a data type is assigned and that what matters. The key to the synthesis is a number, but it is converted with "to_char' which does not have a length max. license terms 1-4 are varchar2 of different lengths.
Is there a need or enjoy adding the lengths of the passes 1-4 and cast the result of the case as varchar2 (sometotal) or the system should really be left to figure it out on its own?

PS - I use 11g and there is nothing special about the table. just a sequence and pk press the synth.

You can try to change the length of characters for VARCHAR2 columns and/or using the (x) NUMBER data type declaration and check how Oracle is calculation of index function based with key length:

select
column_name, column_length, char_length
from
user_ind_columns
where
index_name = 'FUNCINDEX';

Since the interface use a common differential clock and wide 16-bit interface, I'm trying to get a sense tilt the worst case there might be between pairs differential seperatate.

I can they use sheet date architecting to get an idea of the maximum transfer rate, but are there restrictions on the module itself that will limit rates date?

Hi abadobid,

The SbRIO-9651 manual specifications (table 8) should have the details of length sur-module trace info you are looking for.

In addition, I recommend reading the Design Guide for the SOM carrier for detailed techniques, guidelines and requirements for the design of carrier card.

• Different behaviors in MAX vs LabVIEW when writing the attribute IMAQdx GigE

Hi, I'm controlling a Dalsa GigE camera in LabVIEW RT using IMAQdx. Apart from a few quirks with interface we are image acquisition without a lot of problems at the moment.

However, there are one or two issues that are confusing. In this case, it is possible to set a MAX attribute (an attribute of command that tells the device to perform the internal calibration), but when you set the attribute in LabVIEW, the error 0xBFF69010 (-1074360304) unable to create the attribute is thrown. See the attached images.

I check if the attribute is writable before making an entry. It is, however, the write failed, and read the iswritable attribute and then returns false. In MAX, I can write to this attribute with no problems.

I have to set up/read/write in my LabVIEW code that makes MAX. MAX writes all the attributes (based on the values in the XML file) when he opens the camera or he reads simply all the values of the camera. When LabVIEW opens a reference camera does perform the same steps that what MAX - I'm trying to figure out what could be the difference between MAX and LabVIEW, which might be the cause of this behavior.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi AnthonV,

"Weird" is a good way to describe the Spyder3 when it comes to the GigE Vision/GenICam interface (as opposed to the Dalsa driver that communicates using custom commands via ethernet camera series)...

The Spyder3 has many questions focused on the calendar. It is possible that the time between the opening of the camera and the setting of this function is different by MAX vs your code in LabVIEW. In addition, there are some cases where MAX will be deletes the error to display. Ignoring the error indicated vs you see the feature to take effect in both cases?

The base between MAX and LabVIEW behavior is the same. In both cases when you open the unit all parameters are responsible for our camera file that has the registered device settings. This file is created the first time that you open the unit and are updated every time you click on save to MAX or call an API function to save the settings. In any case, I know that the Spyder3 has various questions backup/restore the settings of our camera files.

I suggest talking with Dalsa on the issues you are experiencing. They might be able to put up with a newer firmware that addresses some of these issues (we have worked with them in the past to identify several of them).
