Case of assignment of event names

Hello

I would like to know if there is a convenient way to change the names of cases in a structure of the event or to identify cases in any other way.

The problem I'm facing: whenever I have have a structure of the event which has several cases who oversee multiple entries, each is not obvious at first sight is that a certain case. For example, I would cite a case in my structure of the event "refresh view" I know what he does and not what item of façade changes could run (cause should always be able to see this :-).

Any suggestions?

Best regards Florian

Thanks for any suggestions,

I already use only legends about the FP (reasons much IMHO desirable), and once your inside the case of the typedef enum'ed does a decent job of document in which case you

(although Randall is right - it is better here, especially when you're "ctrl-mouswheeling" through the case :-).

I just wanted there was some visible clues to the event structure of the menu drop down. The structure of the event I'm getting about 70 cases which some monitor more than 20 FP controls.

Scrolling is not practice it either - and Yes, there is a lot of space FP in a tab control.

It is also why events user would be too much work to do now to only a marginal improvement.

Best regards Florian

Have you considered an approach 'divide and conquer', by which I mean some of these events pushing down into a Subvi, which uses the dynamic event record to do the job?

Examples of things that can be pushed down are things like "Whn this button is clicked on this thing should be shown or hidden."

    Hello

    STOP: 0XC000021A

    Can be a difficult problem to solve, and you indeed need a technical help in a real store of the computer
    (not the leeks and the glances at a BestBuy or other BigBox stores) or system manufacturer support.

    Cause

    This error occurs when a subsystem of mode user, such as WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem (CSRSS), irremediably compromised and security can not be guaranteed. In response, the operating system goes into kernel mode. Microsoft Windows cannot run without WinLogon or CSRSS. Therefore, it is one of the rare cases where the failure of a user mode service can stop the system.

    Incompatible system files can also cause this error. This can happen if you restored your hard disk from a backup. Some backup programs may skip restoring system files which they determine are in use.

    Solve the problem

    Run the kernel debugger is not useful in this situation because the error occurred in a user mode process.

    Resolve an error in the user-mode device driver or system, third-party application service: Because the bug 0xC000021A control occurs in a user mode process, the most common culprits are third-party applications. If the error occurred after the installation of the new or updated device driver or service system, third-party applications, the new software should be removed or disabled. Contact the manufacturer of the software on a possible update.

    If the error occurs during the system startup, restart your computer, and then press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system. In the Windows Advanced Options menu that results, select the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time. If the error is not resolved, try to manually remove the offending software. If the system partition is formatted with the (FAT) file allocation table, use a MS-DOS boot disk to access the hard disk of the computer. If the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or remove the defective software. If the defective software is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file. If a room newly installed if material is suspected, remove it to see if that fixes the problem.

    Try running the emergency recovery disk (ERD) and allow the system to repair any errors that it detects.

    Solve a problem of file system do not match: If you have recently restored your hard disk from a backup, check if there is an updated version of the backup/restore program available from the manufacturer. Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.

    The minidump files show constantly the csrss.exe process break with a BAD_POOL_HEADER stop error (19) referencing the win32k.sys.

    It's probably another pilot, a third-party driver that is causing the problem.

    I would say, at this stage, to enable verifier against any non-Microsoft drivers to stress test them and try to eliminate a problematic driver:

    Start > type check in the search programs and files, then press 'Enter' > create standard settings > next > select the names of the drivers in the list > select all non-Microsoft drivers > finish

    Restart the computer.

    Continue to use the computer normally but if you have any available BSOD brand minidump files.

    If after the activation of the Verifier and restart the computer, you receive a BSOD on startup and cannot start Windows, restart the computer in "safe" mode, and follow these steps:

    Start > type check in the search programs and files, then press 'Enter' > delete existing settings > finish

    Restart the computer, log in Normal Mode and make available any resulting minidump file

    I would also say, before you enable Driver Verifier, to download, install, update and run (quick scan should be sufficient) Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (free version), in the case of McAfee missing something:

    Drivers could be at fault, however the problems of disk or security/antivirus/antispyware products are
    just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.
    The video driver or something affecting it would be questionable.

    Make sure that the drivers, BIOS and chipset of low-level drivers are all updated by checking manually
    system manufacturer and device manufacturers sites.

    Below I'll post a generic bluescreen convenience store and in the next message how to upgrade
    drivers and BIOS as well as controls memory.

    -----------------------------------

    BCCode: 0a 0x0000000A

    Cause

    This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.

    The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

    If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

    Solve the problem

    If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.

    To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
    3. In the Windows Advanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

    To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool

    1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
    2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
    3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
    5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
    6. For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

    If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.

    Comments

    Before upgrading to a new version of Windows, remove all third-party device drivers and system services and disable any antivirus. Contact software manufacturers for updates of these third-party tools.

    Cause

    Bug KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates that a memory access violation has occurred.

    Solve the problem

    If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques:

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

    If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

    If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that all new equipment installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

    If the verification of the message bug list a driver by name, disable or remove that driver. In addition, disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

    If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the system startup service using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

    Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x1E. You can disable the cache in memory of the BIOS to try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

    The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved.chk, which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation.

    You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS

    Original title: computer starts but can not access to all programs

    What is an APPCRASH problem event name?       or entry point setupapi-CM Get brother is not found in the CFGMGR32.dll dynamic link library.

    Hi Philippe,.

    Please contact Microsoft Community. I will surely help you with the resolution of this error on startup.

    APPCRASH is a term used by Windows for a crash of the application and is reported as "problem event name: APPCRASH", it will also contain information about the name of the program crashed.

    This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:

    1 conflict between third-party applications.

    2 virus.

    3 corrupt system files.

    Try the steps listed here and see if it helps:

    Method 1:
    I suggest to start the computer using safe mode and check if the problem occurs or not. If this isn't the case, I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

    Step 1:
    Start the computer in Mode safe. At the start of the computer Mode safe with the minimum set of drivers and files.

    Start your computer in safe mode.

  • Apex 4 plugin users with points event names in their

    Hello

    I am using the DHTML dialog box plug that has 2 user defined events:

    Open - dhtmldialog.open
    Close - dhtmldialog.close

    The problem that I've been seen who was dynamic actions assigned to a single event was triggered by these events (i.e. when the open dialog box one DA based on the close event triggered.)

    The generated code is this:
    {"triggeringElement":"#ModalWindow",
      "triggeringElementType":"JQUERY_SELECTOR",
      "bindType":"live",
      "bindEventType":"dhtmldialog.close.COM_ANKERPOORT_APEX_DHTML_DIALOG",
      actionList:[{"eventResult":true,"executeOnPageInit":false,"stopExecutionOnError":true,
                      "affectedRegionId":"R8025602360818692",
                        javascriptFunction:function (){ window.location.reload(true);},
                          "action":"NATIVE_JAVASCRIPT_CODE"}]},
    The DA has be triggered by the dhtmldialog.open.COM_ANKERPOORT_APEX_DHTML_DIALOGevent.

    After changing event names internal to dhtmldialog_open and dhtmldialog_close (replacing). by a _ the problem stopped.

    This means that only the first part of the name of the event (before the first dot) is taken into account to trigger the associated DAs? Is this a problem Apex or jQuery?

    Thank you
    Luis

    Hi Luis,.

    I can't test it now (I'm at the airport in London), but I guess that's a restriction of jQuery. jQuery uses the point to identify the namespace of an event. So everything that follows the first point is considered to be the name of the event space. Namespaces make it easy when the dissociation (all) the events that have been linked for a namespace. APEX namespaces automatically all events personalized to a plugin with the plugin internal name (replacing points with an underscore).

    Concerning

  • get the current event (name) of a field - possible / how to?

    Hello

    I wonder if it is possible to get the name of a field as event:

    (form.pag1.mytextfield::enter - JavaScript, client)

    var eventname = this.MagicJSfunction();

    It is of course possible to get the current name of the event with:

    (form.pag1.mytextfield::enter - JavaScript, client)

    var eventname = event.name;

    It's a shame it's always = 'Focus' wherever I use it (form.pag1.mytextfield::ENTER - JavaScript, client) (form.pag1.mytextfield::EXIT - JavaScript, client)

    (form.pag1.mytextfield::enter - JavaScript, client)

    Reason:

    I use to change the structure of a field in realtion to his event in my script object. By calling the function of my script object, I'd use some copy/paste.

    I have more than 120 field where this function must be called to enter and exit the event.

    Hello

    Does that help? http://assure.ly/h8ZLr5.

    * MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT
    * MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP
    * MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER
    * MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT

    In the Flex IDE, the event metadata are interpreted and causes incorrect Eclipse code Council as event names do not exist as constants as all caps/line of underscores in the FlowElementMouseEvent.

    For example, if I have an instance of the item link and type ' linkElement.addEventListener (', once I typed the left paren, it triggers code completion that presents me with the following list of types of events possible to add listeners for these types of six events):

    * FlowElementMouseEvent.CLICK
    * FlowElementMouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN
    * FlowElementMouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT
    * FlowElementMouseEvent.MOUSE_UP
    * FlowElementMouseEvent.ROLL_OVER
    * FlowElementMouseEvent.ROLL_OUT

    Obviously, the use of one of those who will not compile.  I know that you use the same constant MouseEvent event name strings,

    but it would be really nice if you could add these strings as constants of FlowElementMouseEvent event as well!  It is confusing to some developers when it does not work as they expect.

    Thank you!

    Brent

    I filed a bug on the name constants.

    See if you can locate the program that belongs to the bitguard dll and uninstall this program.

    This could also be a problem with the report of Trusteer

    Try to update or uninstall and reinstall Trusteer report and if that does not help then disable/stop the program for now.

    • Start menu > programs > Trusteer report > stop report
