Causes OpenManage network do not mount at startup

PowerEdge T300, Server 2008 (x 64)

We've added two disks to our server, and to try to avoid restarting, I installed the OpenManage software so that we can provide as a new RAID1 array.

I did the installation on the desktop remotely and when he arrived at the "starting services" Server dropped connection network.  We could not access the server on the network at all. Someone in the Office did a reboot hard (instead of trying to connect to the console), and when the server came back to the top, the network is still not available... Someone logged onto the console, open the properties IPv4 network connection properties and clicked on apply, and it started to work again... We were hoping that it was a question once, but we have restarted two times since and every time the network would not come to the top.

Is there some OpenManage component that could cause this problem? My boss won't retire until we actually try to understand what the problem is.

Any other ideas of what to watch? The fact that it happened first when installing OpenManage points to be the problem, but I can't be 100% sure.

If you have a Broadcom NIC firmware which is very old, sometimes happens.  Updated the firmware of the NETWORK adapter and the drivers, then your network connection must be restored.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

  • WD My Passport drive external drive will not mount once my Macbook Pro is already on

    Hello

I actually had this problem for a year or two, but I'm finally getting bugged to this topic enough to see if it can be 'fixed '.

I have a 2 to WD My Passport portable HD connected to my macbook pro via an external (wall outlet) powered TRUST 5 x USB3 Hub.  If everything is connected, when I start the macbook pro there is no problem and the WD My Passport is mounted in the finder.  But if I remove manually the hard drive and then try to mount it again while the macbook pro is running it doesn't mount not.  It used to, but he won't now.

In the past the WD My passport would need to unplug and perhaps the USB3 hub would need power cable disconnect from him and the USB hubs out the macbook pro.  So when I joined this new and plugged the hard drive WD in the hub, it would rise very well.  But now it's just point blank refuses to ride until I restart the macbook pro.  Once I restart it it climbs perfectly and stays up forever--until it is dismantled manually - and then I have to restart the macbook pro again so he could mount once more.

I tried all combinations of pull cables and adapters to power but nothing has worked.  After dismantling the WD hd and plug back on the USB3 light led on the hub hub lights up and the hard drive turns manually, but, as I say, it is not mount and it is not visible in disk utility.

Any ideas please?  It's a bit annoying to have to keep restarting the mac whenever I had to unplug the hard drive WD.

"As issued" WD Passport appear to cause a number of reports of trouble around here. You have already taken the first "not best" - using a powered hub. Just make sure that the hub is really power (lights on, for example). It could be that the external drive is in its death throws.

This happen if the WD is the only thing on the powered hub?

The Mac USB ports work with other devices?

Here's what my experience with these things has believing me. WD made great bare discs, but I can't be so kind to their pens. Three questions:

    (1) I think that they should use chipsets which are not very easy to Mac.

    (2) most driving the ship formatted for Windows

    (3) even those shipped as "Mac editions have some odd which makes it difficult to access file formatting.

If you do not have to share the drive with a Windows computer, you can reformat the drive and that often fixes "fail to mount/recognize" question. Disk utility is your tool of choice here because it is already installed on your Mac. Completely erase the WD drive by selecting the tab 'Clear' in the bar tabs to disk utility. Define the plan of Partition to GUID Partition map and journaled for Mac extended format. Press the button 'clear '. The reader will now will be rid of eccentric WD partitioning and formatting schemes and be a good Mac hard drive.

If you share the road with a Windows computer, consider getting a better workout. After having fought external drives 'brand' on my computers and others that I maintain, I now use only boxes of other computer world with naked WD drives inside. Since this change, I have zero problems. For my MacBook Pro, I use this forum:

    https://eShop.MacSales.com/item/OWC/MEPMU3ES/

I ordered the external power optionally for use at home and go on the road bus-powered. It's an empty envelope - just a hard drive of nu. They are more expensive than the stuff that Staples puts on sale every weekend, but are much more reliable. I ask the question. "What is my value data?"

  • iPhone WiFi 6 causes of network disruption

There is an old (locked) topic that seems similar unanswered: iPhone WiFi broken MacBook WIRELESS

    In our House, we have:

    -Airport Extreme (v2)

    -MacBook Pro

    -MacBook Air

    -iPhone 6

    -iPhone 6s

    -iPads

We have noticed recently that our Internet connection was really inconsistent.  After some time, we have done tests and concluded that when my wife turned on the wifi of iPhone 6, all other devices would have connectivity problems (slow, fall of entry and exit, etc.).  Turn it off, all right, turn it back on, everything is twisted.  We tried to look to see if all the apps were using a lot of data (pictures just Google had destroyed our wireless bill, so we removed that, but even with that gone, the question remained), but nothing was.  But even if I do a huge download or download on my laptop it does not cause these same questions, it seems to be a problem of low level network and NOT only volume of use.  Even with the updated iOS (9.3.2), the problem persists.

Are there known problems or patches (which I don't see Google search) about the interruption of network iPhone?

I've seen this problem posted here before with no clear resolution. The one feature that might explain it is prioritization of media on a router. However here is a user points to the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth).

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes (ask for more details if you wish).

Laptops and PCs are running Windows 7 Ultimate. My laptop is connected to the home wireless network, the PC is connected through the LAN. Router is a Netgear DG834GV. Both computers have fixed IP addresses. They are part of the standard workgroup workgroup. There was formerly a group residential, put in place, which worked very well. We also have a Vista laptop that does all the unusual problems. Until a few days ago, the whole Setup worked perfectly. I could previously access/copy/distribute multimedia content, play on the PC via Zune music on my laptop and print from my laptop to the computer, but now I am unable to do one of these. Here is the solution for "error code 0 x 80070035 network path not found" on Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers. Click on the button 'START', select 'CONTROL PANEL' and go to 'DEVICE MANAGER'. Click on "NETWORK CARDS", then click on 'VIEW' and select 'SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES'. In the expanded view, you will see a long list of numbered "MICROSOFT 6to4 ADAPTER". My Windows 7 Professional Office had 200 of them. Right click and select 'DELETE' on all but 1 of them. You can only do 1 at a time, so it takes some time. When you have only 1 left, restart the computer and enjoy being able to see the other computers on your network, including the RESIDENTIAL group files.

  • A drive mapped on P to P does not load at startup upward.

My question is similar, but may have a different answer.  I have a peer-to-peer network and my computer plays the main role.  In the morning he gets turned on first so that other computers can charge the player.  Some of my programs require that the mapped drive is the same on all computers like me.  The problem is that when I turn on my computer, it does not read the drive mapped on himself and he listed as disconnected.  I then manually go and plug.  Again, it is annoying more then anything.  Any suggestions?

    Hi Loreman,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

From the descriptions of the question, it seems that mapped drive does not load at startup to the top.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I'll help you fix the problem.

Follow the methods and mark the question below:

    Method 1:

    Disable the antivirus software:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

Drive mapped to the network connection may be lost:

  • VSA and VSADs not mounted Manager time-out

I have some problem in my VSA environment. The first problem is that I can't access the Manager of VSA vSphere client. When I click on the tab is present me with a message "loading" red the a 'loading takes longer than expected, if the cluster is on a network reconfiguration mode disconnect and reconnect' and then eventually times out saying "the VSA Cluster is unavailable connection timed out: connect.

This brings me to my second question, which is the VSADs (two-node cluster) upward as inactive (not mounted) in vCenter. I can't ping the IP mount. However, I can ping the vCenter and two VSA management IP, as well as the IP Address of cluster service. However the management of the cluster (172.16.32.20) and NFS IP are not available.

I lost power to my lab and things have not stopped correctly. Since I put under tension, it was unavailable. I've included the VSA Manager log.

It seems to me the IP SAS is not. However, I do not know why?

Any ideas would be great there are machines that I really want to revisit those NFS mounts.

    Hi Owen,.

From the description you posted, it seems that either your cluster in maintenance mode or that there is something wrong with the backend network prevents the adjoining VSA VMs between them.

You can check if the VSA VMS are in maintenance mode by using WSCli and getSvaServerInfo running. To do:

Open a console session (command prompt) on the server where the VSA Manager is installed.

Navigate to the directory that contains the file WSCLI.jar (C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VSA Manager\tools\).

    Run: java-jar WSCLI.jar getSvaServerInfo

Check the two VMS VSA. If they are both in maintenance mode, you can get them to come out of maintenance mode by running:

    java-jar WSCLI.jar exitMaintenanceMode

Check the VMs got out of maintenance mode by running getSvaServerInfo again. With the two VM VSA out of maintenance mode, the address IP of Cluster should appear. Check if the cluster itself is in maintenance mode by running:

    java-jar WSCLI.jar getStorageCluster

If the cluster is in maintenance mode, you can either take the cluster out of maintenance mode by running:

    java-jar WSCLI.jar exitStorageClusterMaintenanceMode

Or, at this point, the VSA Manager must be able to connect to the Cluster and you can take the cluster out of maintenance via the user interface mode. Once this is done, your NFS shares must be online.

In case the system VMs VSA are not in maintenance mode, there is probably a problem preventing the VSA VMs to communicate. Indeed, even if the VSA VMS are in maintenance mode, if there is a network problem, you won't be able to remove them from the maintenance mode. So, if the steps above fail, first step should probably be to check networking (necessity of VMs to communicate on networks of front and background).

I tried a few other sparsebundle some and other encrypted disk images not. Some are open very well, but others do not.

So, it doesn't seem to be a problem of sparsebundle encrypted disk image.

    Any suggestions?

After investigation a little more the problem is Sophos AV

Turn it off and the disk mount fine images.

    I hope this helps.

  • EFI disk0s1 not mounted. screen shows gray with help file when I restart

I had these problems with my recent Mac.

    1. it freezes for a few seconds. Then begins to work properly. And then freezes. The beachball keeps spinning and I can't access any of the applications.

I tried restarting. But came up with another question. The gray screen of the charges and file aid continues to Flash.

I tried from the recovery mode, but I get the Internet (OS X Lion). I'm under El Capitan. In disk utility, I check and repair the drive. Stop and try again. Now, there are two current icons and off - no logo entry sign and apple. If I'm lucky then after 40-50 seconds, Mac starts up.

Now, I tried to make the EtreCheck, and he gave me more results for disc

    That's what worry?

What can I do to fix these problems?

Disk0 unit 1 is not the problem. This is the EFI partition, which is never mounted, because it is used only by the bootstrapper, long before that the file system is initialized.

Your problem is 70 errors in disk0 tranche 2, the volume Macintosh HD. This hard drive (the entire disc) was his. Dead. in ruins. You need a new drive.
